Shelter Cove Sculpture Trail on Hilton Head Island

Shelter Cove Sculpture Trail brings public art into Hilton Head Island’s waterfront landscape. The route connects Shelter Cove Community Park and the Veterans Memorial area with a trailhead parking area, following pathways along Broad Creek and Shelter Cove Lane. Visitors can explore permanent and temporary sculptures, including works that reflect island wildlife and environmental themes. 

 The trail includes a waterfront boardwalk, a timber pedestrian bridge and interpretive signs about Broad Creek’s history and ecology. Marsh views provide another reason to take your time along the route. Because temporary artworks change, return visits may offer a different experience.
