The Villamare villa complex is the perfect location for a beach vacation rental in Palmetto Dunes, a wonderful beachfront destination on Hilton Head Island. It has three five-story buildings and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. These elegantly furnished villas are 2- or three-bedroom flats. The buildings that have a 1 or 3 at the beginning of the unit number are oceanfront or oceanview while the 2000 building is set back with views of the resort and lagoons.
Villamare has many amenities onsite. In addition to the oceanfront swimming pool and spa centering a broad sundeck, there is a heated indoor pool and a complete fitness center. The residential floors have elevator access from parking garages beneath each building. Paths meander among the buildings, to the indoor facilities, around the landscaped lagoon, to the outdoor pool and out to the ocean boardwalk.
Villamare is located right next door to the Marriott Resort and Spa's convention facilities, with its restaurants, boutiques, and oceanfront beach bar. Down the beach a short stroll away is The Omni (formerly the Hilton) that houses the HH Prime Restaurant and the X/O Lounge perfect for a swirl on the dance floor.
Guests of Villamare can also enjoy the convenience of other amenities in Palmetto Dunes and Shelter Cove. The Mall at Shelter Cove is a close attraction for those who enjoy shopping while on vacation. During the summer the "Palmetto Dunes Buggy" shuttle offers free rides for any guests of Palmetto Dunes properties. The shuttle will pick you up and drop you off at a number of drop points to assist those guests who need to get around easily within the Palmetto Dunes and Shelter Cove community.
