Willow Oak 2

We really enjoyed our time at 2 Willow Oak! Great location on the golf course, nice pool, and large house! The house was large enough that everyone had their own space. The street is nice and quiet and beautiful!! Would definitely stay here again.

The house was amazing and perfect for our family. It was a great location and I loved how everyone had their own space and bathrooms in their rooms. The only disappointment was the pool and outdoor area. It was very shaded, the debris from tree fell a good bit on the patio, hit us while we attempted to sit out there , it got all over the deck and in the pool, the pool did not seem very clean, probably because of that and the mosquitoes were terrible making my family not want to be outside and we were so excited about the house having a pool while on vacation. The propane was out, and since we didn’t realize it upon check in, we ended up having to pay to get it refilled since we noticed on a holiday and the office was closed. The trolley to the beach worked out really great and it was nice that it was so close to the house. Overall, the house was great, I just wish the backyard and pool were better.

We had a great time staying here! The pool
Is perfect with a great view of the course. There is also plenty of room and spacious enough that you’re not on top of each other if you’re staying with friends. The appliances were all in great condition especially the washer and dryer! The location is perfect distance to the stables, beach and harbor town. Our kids 6 & 8 biked to all these places safely and it wasn’t exhausting for them! The rental agency is great and very easy to work with. I would stay here again!

The only negative is the property was having landscaping done, but once we reached out about it the landscapers didn’t come back that week.

Beautiful, large and comfortable home with everything you need. Great location, quiet street, can walk or bike just out the door! Pool and backyard are shaded with beautiful views of the golf course. Two of the bathrooms need some remodeling, but this is no big deal, they are functional and enough for what you need on vacation.

The overall rental experience was good. Sea Turtle was responsive when I emailed them regarding the rental and items in the home. The check in process was fine. The house has actual keys and not a keypad so they had to be picked up and returned. The only issue we had was that the house was not ready when we arrived at 5:30pm. It necessitated a call to the company to get cleaners over there. Once the cleaners arrived the house was cleaned but we didn't' get in until 7pm and we had groceries. Other than that the house was very nice. Quiet street, nice view of the golf course and loved the screened in porch. Rode bikes to the beach and had enough room for our family. The sleeper sofa is small just a twin which we didn't realize but it worked out.

Second stay at same house. Nothing had changed since last summer. Good location. Property is a little dated with need of some upgrades. TV's are out of date, Stove dials are unreadable and the fridge needs replacement. Good washer/dryer, good a/c unit. people are easy to deal with and very responsive. Fair price also.

Our home was exceptional in layout and privacy even though we backed up to a tee box at the golf course. Our party of five guests were easily accommodated in separate areas of the home, which was well appointed and clean. Location is excellent and the real bonus is the screened porch next to the pool. We had a wonderful vacation in Hilton Head and would love to return to this home.

Good week at HHI is hard to beat. Loved the screened in porch. Good location on Sea Pines. Property is well maintained for its age. Kitchen could use a few more larger scale service items. All in all a good week.

This home is perfectly situated between the beach club and Harbourtown, both of which were easy 8 minute bike rides. The home itself could use some maintenance (we had a few plumbing issues that required a plumber), but is well appointed with kitchen/dining items and comfy furniture. The mattresses were a little older, and a “nice to have” would be a couple extra pillows on the bed. The pool is small but the right size to play and splash a bit if you don’t have a large crowd (it was just 3 of us, so it worked well). We enjoyed seeing the golfers tee off while we enjoyed the deck! It would be great if there was an outdoor or covered space to lock up bikes and sandy beach equipment - the garage is locked (we assume the owner keeps personal items there) but it meant that we had to keep bringing our beach things into the house, and we could only lock up bikes on the front porch. While this home worked for us, I think others would find it lacking in updates, comfort, pool size, and ability to access the garage.

The home we rented is fantastic. It's a large layout that easily holds 9 people with plenty of indoor and outdoor living space. The location is great and can easily access all parts of Sea Pines. Sea Turtle getaways is very easy to work with and supported us during our stay. We will be back!

I booked this unit having read the past reviews about lack of cleanliness after talking to management company (Sea TurtleGetaways) and their reassurance that any housekeeping issues would be addressed. The housekeepers did a GREAT job. It was clean, we had no issues there. However, the owners must address the filthy dirty windows, mold on the front porch and mold on walls outside and general musty smell inside. You cannot expect to continue renting your home without spending some money on upkeep.

Ok so I should start by saying there are several pros to this property. First the house is way bigger than it appears in pictures. Sprawling ranch is an accurate description. Each of the bedroom suites are all on opposite sides of the house which provides a lot of personal space. The pool although on the smaller side, was great and it was fun being watching the golfers tee off on the 8th hole.
So see positives right. Well on to the cons and unfortunately there are several. As many others have said it was not the cleanest property we have ever stayed in. Yes everything was well surfaced cleaned but corners, around faucets under furniture clearly have not seen a broom or rag in quite a while. The screened in porch clearly had not had a thorough cleaning in a very, very long time. Saw Turtle Getaways really should have the housecleaning service do a better job. I don’t know if this is necessarily a con but an FYI, the pool gets very, very little sun. If your looking to work on your tan, this backyard is not the place to do it. It was easily 10-15 degrees cooler than the front of the house and being it was hotter than the surface of the sun, that was a plus. Now on to my biggest issue with this property, the bathrooms!! Not just one or two of the bathrooms but all 3.5 are in desperate need of major overhauls. I guess the largest of the bedrooms would be considered the master had the most recently updated bathroom which maybe was done in the early 90s. The others are very original but not in that cool retro way. The bathrooms creeped me out.

Our time at Willow Oak 2 was fantastic! Our family of 6 had an abundance of room at this location. Getting to the beach was easy, the trolley stop was just around the corner thus making it easy to come and go as each person pleases.

We had a wonderful week long stay at this property on Hilton Head Island. The property is larger than appears and provides many areas to relax after a busy day out either playing golf, being on the beach or sightseeing. Property is well equipped and maintained. It is ideal for couples sharing or families. Management company were very helpful prior to our stay and easy to deal with. We would highly recommend this property.

We loved the house and the pool was a bonus!
Under furniture the floors were dirty.
Sea turtles front desk lady was awful. She sounded like she hates her job and has no desire to talk to people who are excited about their vacation.

This 3 bedroom rental was perfect for our family trip to HHI. The bedrooms are in three separate corners of the home, giving everyone their own space. Having the pool was a fun treat for us as well! We were able to bike to Harbor Town and could have biked to the beach if we had wanted.

I had been looking forward to the screened porch, but it had not be well maintained/ cleaned, so we didn't end up spending any time out there. I would also recommend the homeowners update the TVs, or at least get rid of the very old box TV in the family room and replace it something newer.

The house was in excellent condition spacious and tastefully decorated ...
Sea turtle staff was as always gracious and efficient!
They even provided great weather, what a feat !
