Wonderful Stay at Windward Village

Bright open living space with beautiful views of the gardens and pool. Convenient access to the two large bedrooms and bathrooms on the entrance level with walkout access to the veranda and pool.

First time staying at 123 windward village

Plates, pans, glasses and silverware could us some upgrades. Pool & hot tub were great.

Hilton Head April/May 2025

This was a great place to stay. I would have preferred indoor throw rugs (there were NONE except in kitchen). The bare floor was quite challenging to keep clean. However, the rental company did provide us an entry mat to keep reduce dirt from entering. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was in working order and the kitchen was stocked with the things needed. Suggest carpet cleaning and stretching since the carpeted steps and the carpet was loose in areas. Some of the electrical plugs were loose and didn’t hold a plug. Rental company was helpful, professional and accommodating.

Such potential in a great location, but overall not worth it. Overall unwelcoming/uncomfortable furniture except the couch. Silverfish in the bedroom closets and upstairs bathroom. Very loud renovation in the next door unit with a huge dumpster out front. Dated and poorly appointed kitchen. Uncomfortable beds and pillows with poorly fitted linen. Thought about trying the extra pillows in the closet was concerned they were had silverfish on them. Satined bathroom towels. Ripped curtains on the hard to slide slider to the screened porch area. Location to the pool and hot tub great, a real sweet spot. I wanted to love it but overall it was an uncomfortable stay unfortunately. Some simple refreshing would make such a difference.

Tennis Boomer Weekend

Overall we were satisfied with our stay:
Pro's
Room for 2 adult couples, 2 full en suite bathrooms
Close to Tennis Facility
Close to restaurants, grocery store & shops
Shipyard has great area to bike and walk
Con's
Unit & Furniture not updated
Balcony furniture & table were not clean, could not use without cleaning.
Next to unit which had a fire and there seemed to be a lingering smell when you first walked in. After we opened up the windows and balcony door the odor lessened.
