Surf Court 81

This unit is in the Cologne Circle area. Very easy to walk to the plaza & the beach access.
Guests should keep a few things in mind with this unit. It is one full flight of stairs up from the parking level. It is a townhouse style, which means there is one full flight of stairs up to the bedrooms. Both sets of stairs seemed a bit steep to us.
The outdoor space/porch is very small. I measured, it is 39 inches from door across to the rail. It is barely wide enough to enjoy & you would have to sit sideways, not facing the courtyard. Also the furniture out there looks as if it has not been cleaned or used in at least a year. We weren’t able to use this part of the unit.
Management company was very easy to communicate with & quickly responded to a small issue we had.

We stay in surf court every time we go to HHI. This place was very nice with great updates to it. Clean and beautiful spot to overlook the court yard. Close to the beach and yet perfect spot to walk to Coligny shopping plaza.

Our family returned to Hilton Head for our spring break for the third year this year. This we have stayed at Surf Court each time and love the location. Here are some pros/cons of our stay.

Pros:
-The location can't be beat!
-The kitchen has been nicely updated.
-The unit is easily accessible and of decent repair.

Cons:
- Don't stay here if you're looking for comfortable sleep! All of the mattresses are beyond shot and are very uncomfortable. The comforter on the master bed is ripped and stained. The sofabed had old dirty sheets on it filled with food crumbs and wrappers. The mattresses are in desperate need for replacement.
- The living room chairs are also quite old and don't offer much support.
- The patio screen door needs to be replaced as well.

That being said we did enjoy our stay, but we want people to be aware of what we found.

Location was great! Very clean unit. It had everything we needed for a 4 night stay! Seashore Vacations was very easy to work with and very friendly when I called with questions.

Our rental was clean, well maintained, easy to find and in a great location for easy access to the beach. Coligny Plaza is in walking distance from the unit. Restaurants and shopping are easy to get to in the car. Check in and check out were easy!

No complaints at all. Unit is nice and clean, location to beach and Coligny is perfect.
Surf Court has a great pool for kids
I would say it is time to upgrade the mattresses and sheets, but that is all

Pretty good. Liked the condo in general. They should put in some ceiling fans upstairs tho. The remodel was very nice.

The location of this condo was perfect. Can walk or ride your bike to pretty much everything. We went with other families and enjoyed meeting with everyone at the pool.

I brought my family to HH for the first time this year and we had a great time. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The location to the beach and Coligny shops is amazing We loved biking everywhere. I guess it wasn’t as hot as it usually is this time of year so the a/c worked great! The only mistake (MY MISTAKE) was that I didn’t realize it was a second floor entrance, so it was a bit inconvenient for my one year old and all of his baby equipment. I would definitely return to Surf Court!

Condo was clean, spacious, well stocked. Beds were comfortable. There was endless HOT water. 5 of us took showers and there was plenty of hot water to do dishes. My ONLY complaint is the steep steps you have to climb into the condo and up to the bedrooms.

We loved staying in Surf Court 81. Upon arrival, we noticed that the unit was very clean and stocked with all of the bathroom linens and kitchen utensils that we needed. We loved being just a few minute walk away from the beach and Coligny Plaza (If traveling with small children that need to be carried, we suggest a wagon or cart to lug your beach supplies across the road. That was the one thing we wished we had).Our kids loved playing in the grassy, fenced in courtyard as we watched from the balcony. The unit made for a very comfortable and relaxing family getaway.

This was our fourth stay in this area of Hilton Head. These condos aren't fancy but are in a good location for the beach and tennis center. We like that Coligny plaza is an easy bike ride. The courtyard and pool area are nice and quiet. We didn't like that this unit didn't have curtains in both bedrooms, so early daylight or lightning bothered our sleep. Also the AC didn't cool well upstairs. Having no Wifi was a pain, but I hear that is being fixed soon. We definitely prefer staying here over a hotel room.

Decor is a dated but location is awesome. Across from beach, walking distance to Coligny and Amigos. Beds could be a little better.

The location of the condo was great, as was the management company when they called to confirm the registration and ask for permission to charge my card. The unit was obviously older and still contained some older carpet which didn't bare well if you suffer from allergies. The light in the half bath flickered as if there was an electrical short each time it was turned on. The master bedroom did not contain a TV as shown in the photos (there was an older TV sitting in the bottom of the hall closet, however we didn't attempt to set it up, as we felt that should have already been done). The master bath shower/tub had a sliding door that barely functioned and was very difficult to slide back and forth. The kitchen was stocked for our needs. This unit was the perfect size for our family of 4 adults and two children, however it could use some updating (removal of musty smelling carpet, and addition of flat screen TVs). Our family probably would stay here again for the location, however, we would know what to expect. Coming from the beautiful beaches of the Florida Panhandle, we weren't expecting much from the beaches, but our children enjoyed riding their bikes along the water. Overall, we enjoyed our first visit to HHI.

The property was just perfect for our group! The pictures do not do this place justice. The Condo was way bigger than we expected. The beach just a short walk away. Pool area and grounds were nicely kept. I hope we can stay here again for our next Hilton Head trip!

The condo was really nice. We had 6 people, but there was only room for 4 to sleep. The sofa bed was broken and there were no linens for it either. The 2 twin beds could really use new mattresses. This information is just for the owner's benefit. We made due by purchasing sleeping bags for the kids, and we brought extra towels and sheets so with us, so all was okay. We would definitely come back! Great!
