Surf Court 76

Unit was clean and very convenient to the beach. We had an elderly person with us so the fact there were no stairs and all on one level was perfect. Same for the walk in shower in the primary bath. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals for the times we did not eat out. Check in and check out was easy and the communications from Seashore was great. Will definitely be back to #76 and Seashore Vacations.

Probably the best rental I’ve ever stayed at in my life. And I’m 53 years old I will be back. Places as well. Maintained in a great value. Location was excellent as well one street away from the beach. I can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful weather all week. Units are so close to Coligny and the beach. We loved the public beach access across the street which made walking to the beach a short walk. Living quarters are spacious. Would stay here again.

This unit needs serious cleaning. Basics were clean (surfaces & floors), but the unit is tired and grubby. It needs a really good clean - from walls and baseboards to the layers of dust on the fake plants and door to the HVAC.

Enjoyed our stay at this great location. Short walk easy access to beach and Coligny, easy bike access; just know the property is dated but still comfortable (&this was accurately mentioned when renting, not a surprise); enjoyed the patio view; Note: no ice maker

We loved the location and working with Seashore Vacations was a breeze. They were very communicative through the week. Having a physical key instead of a keypad was kind of a pain. We knew what we were getting into with an older model condo, but we weren’t expecting years of dust and grime on the baseboards, lamps, and under the beds. The wall behind the trash cans were filthy and the whole place is in desperate need of a deep clean. Both showers were like taking a shower under a pressure washer and were painful. It also would be nice to know that the pool didn’t open until April 1 for the season. We had a great vacation and would work with Seashore Vacations but would stay at another condo.

This is an older condo and could use some upgrade. It was clean. We stay at Surf Court often when we are at Hilton Head. Convenient location to beach and other things we like to do. Seashore Vacations is very professional.

We had a very nice time here. The unit is great, the kitchen could use an update but had everything we needed. This is the only unit that still uses keys so it was a bit inconvenient for the older kids, (with only 2 keys), and trying not to lose them. We would stay here again for sure.

The property was in a great location. I would book it again. But I have 3 stars because the dryer did not dry, and I had to walk to the next building to do my laundry. Being a family of 5, that was a huge inconvenience! Also the master bathroom toilet did not flush unless you held that handle down until it went down. To be honest the dryer situation really upset me.

We had a great week in HH with wonderful weather in February. Loved the location of this condo - walk to a beautiful section of the beach by going across the street and then through a nice walkway about one block. Very nice grounds at Surf Court. This condo could use some modernizing but everything was adequate, and being on the first floor was convenient.

We enjoyed our Winter getaway to Hilton Head. Seashore Vacations was very helpful in making the arrangements. Surf Court 76 was clean and comfortable but needs updating. Very convenient location to things we like to do at Hilton head.

We had a great time. Check in was very easy. A few things could use updating carpet blankets decor, but for our stay it was fine. Staff at the rental agency were great and very easy to deal with and very accommodating. Would stay again

The rental process could not have been smoother, the property was scrupulously clean and had every amenity you could need, including small toiletries in the bathroom.The towels were folded attractively on each bed, which was a surprising touch of luxury. Staff were pleasant & responsive.
The property itself is certainly dated, but in a quirky way that feels like your staying with an older Aunt or grandparents. Enough areas had been modernized such as the floors in most of the house, couches, and boho style furniture throughout. The electric was the part that was most dated, haven't seen light switches like that for a loooong time. BUT, once you settle in, and feel comfortable with the chotchkies, you just feel at home and relax into it. Both bathrooms had great showers, the shower heads were better than we have at home. The washer and dryer worked great, and was a huge convenience when staying at the beach.

The kitchen was another area where you step back in time, but has everything you need for a comfortable week. Can opener included.

There's a little spigot by the front door inside the fenced area to wash your feet, which helped keep the condo clean. And the area was great for keeping sandy beach chairs etc outside.

The upstairs neighbors were extremely loud, several kids were clomping up and down the metal stairs until well after dark every day, but we're not sure if they live there permanently, or we were just unlucky to be there at the same time as that particular family.

The courtyard inside the complex is beautiful. The pool is busy, but clean & well maintained. It's a great benefit to park your car right outside the house. EASY walk to the beach, & a less crowded area than nearby Coligny. Plenty of restaurants and shopping close by.
If you're looking for an instagram beach house, this isn't it, but if you're looking for a relaxed and convenient vacation pad, this is a GREAT value and location. Highly recom

Surf Court is in a great location. Easy walking distance to Coligny Plaza, across the road from the beach. Groceries and restaurants nearby. Unit #76 is dated, but in fine shape. 2 bedrooms (comfortable beds) , 2 bathrooms (great showers), 3 tvs, fast internet, well equipped kitchen. Walk out to a patio and easy pool access. Walk 100m down the road to see Chuck at Island Life to rent a bike.

Surf Court is a great location where we have stayed numerous times over the years. The people at Seashore Vacations are always excellent to deal with. Unit 76 is not a bad place to stay, but this particular unit is not the best unit in Surf Court. It is somewhat dated and could definitely use some renovations. That said, we booked at the last minute, there were only two units left when we booked, and we knew from the reviews what we were getting. Overall is was still a very enjoyable stay and a great location.

The front door is brittle at the bottom and difficult to open

We enjoy Hilton Head in October. A two bedroom flat at Surf Court is perfect for us. Convenient to beach and other amenities. Surf Court 76 was clean but needs upgrades.

Villa needs a few upgrades, however, was well equipped. There should be a new deadbolt installed on the kitchen door that does not require an inside key that isn't provided. Water heater needs the heat adjusted on it as it doesn't heat up quickly enough.

We've been to Hilton Head many times over the past 40 years and I can say this was one of the most enjoyable weekends we spent down there. First of all, I needed a break. But the rental experience was great as well. From signing the initial contract to dropping off our keys, I can honestly say it was a great experience. The location was perfect for the things we like to do when on the island. Most of our activities are centered around Coligny Plaza and we were just a couple of blocks down. The beach access was right across the street and that's a luxury if you know anything about HHI. The condo was a little dated but large and had everything we needed. Comparing prices to other available condos at the time, it was a great bargain! We enjoyed our stay to say the least and would love to stay there again in the future, hopefully the next time for a little longer stay.

Great location,stocked with all our needs. Master bed did not like my back as it was was a bit soft. This unit needed a hard cleaning above and beyond the cleaning done between guest and maybe some paint and carpet cleaning.

Surf court 76 is appropriately numbered because it hasnt been updated since 1976. This is my third time renting in this complex and this condo left MUCH to be desired. The mattresses were AWFUL, what I imagine a prison cot would feel like. The many plastic flower arrangements were dusty and ugly, and the decor was dated and sad. There were many burnt out light bulbs and the fan in the bathroom didn't work. The wifi was spotty at best and the TV was old. The dining table had probably the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat in. The saving grace of this rental is the proximity to the pool mad the fact that it was (fairly) clean. The pickup and drop off of keys was quick and painless and the people at the rental office we're friendly, but this condo needs some serious updating/upgrading. The most frustrating part is that it is the same amount of money to stay in this dark, dingy, rundown condo as it is to stay in one of the much nicer places in the complex that we have in the past. Very frustrating.

This a guest from Media, PA. The grounds and the location are great. Every thing necessary was provided in the property. The property could use a clean up, but did not stop us from having a great family get together. Management made check in and out very easy. Even the weather was cooperative.
