Surf Court 70

The condo is really nice. It’s updated nicely. The master bed is really comfortable. Great location. The only feedback we have is that it would be nice if there were some basics in the kitchen - like salt and pepper and dish detergent. We had to buy all that kind of stuff. Overall we enjoyed! Would definitely stay here again.

A very nice property with all of the amenities as listed. Quiet neighborhood, nice pool & courtyard. Quick walk to the beach across the street. Comfortable beds. We hope to return & stay here again.

The staff at Seashore Vacations are always great. The unit was clean, in good repair, and well supplied. Only problem was Wi-Fi and TV service did not work. Otherwise a good stay.

This Surf Court unit is definitely more outdated than others we have stayed in the past. It was clean but an older style - there are no overhead lights or ceiling fans in any of the bedrooms or in the living space. Also, we were never told the pool would be “closed for the season” when booking or when we arrived at the unit. We found out by a sign on the pool gate, and we feel as if that was false advertising and it was not fair that it was never shared during booking.

The condo was just as described. The location is fantastic to all the shops, restaurants and beach. I love that the pool is directly outside the back door. This is super convenient!

The location to the beach access and local food was great. We walked or biked everywhere. We liked the house layout and overall feel. The place could use some fresh touches (doors stick, carpet worn, mattresses a little saggy). Overall, we really liked it and would stay here again if we're back to HH.

We've been to HHI several times and really enjoyed our stay here! It was clean and spacious. Loved the fact that there was carpeting. The proximity to the pool was perfect for us as a family with littles. Parking at the front door was also a wonderful convenience. Great location close to the beach, celebration park, and Coligny. We would abolutely stay here again!

Always have enjoyed Surf Court, but this unit was the worst we've ever stayed in. Very musty, carpet looked disgusting, paneling old, dated. Felt lamps and outlets were a hazard. Mattress in master sunken in middle. Entire unit needs updated badly! Surf Court property well maintained and location good.

I've been renting from Seashore Vacations for 35+ years. This unit has been my least favorite. The Condo had a odor when we got there & we had to deodorize. The carpet was worn and there were no updates. Seashore Vacations has always provided excellent customer service and I will continue to stay at Surf Court however in another unit.

We enjoyed a 2-week vacation at Surf Court 70 in March 2023.
Booking with Seashore Vacations is nothing but a joy. They are very well organized, helpful, keep you informed and make you feel like they are there to make your stay a great one!

Unit 70 is very well located, next to the pool and across the street from the beach. It’s just a short walk to the mall with a grocery store and many other stores and restaurants.
Although unit 70 is comfortable, the ground floor is a bit outdated. The unit would be much more pleasant if the carpet and furniture were updated and the built-in microwave was replaced rather than a second unit taking up counter space in the kitchen. Lastly, a propane BBQ would be great in place of the charcoal unit supplied.
All in all, a nice stay and I would certainly stay in this unit again, especially if the comments above were addressed.

Obviously with the hurricane matter it was an anxious
time. We left a day early. ON the unit our main complaint would be the downstairs furnishings. Clearly outdated. Brown sofa and love seat too too big and "manly" Only one person could sit comfortably near an end table with lamp. Chairs in LR not comfortable. Trying
to move a chair back in dining room difficult both with heaviness of chairs and shag rug. Too many dining chairs. Then no patio to speak of and a rather beat up two seat table and chairs. to walk to pool you had to walk in mud as no grass had replaced a muddy pool of dirt from rain. Patio definitely needs attention. Upstairs was nice and comfy with pretty up to date colors.

Our unit was very clean and comfortable for our 4 day stay. Nicely decorated and kitchen was equipped with adequate equipment for cooking meals. Location to the pool was perfect! Right out our back door. Patio was nice and shaded. Distance to beach a little longer than we expected but doable.

Always a great time at Surf Court and such a painless process of scheduling, checking in and out with Seashore Vacations. Buddy is the man. Surf Court unit # 70 was very nice. Especialy liked the outdoor patio area in the courtyard shaded by a huge Crape myrtle. Great for grilling out and enjoying a cool beverage.

While Unit 70 was a bit more dated than some of the units we have stayed in at Surf Court, it was very clean and well equipped. As usual, the staff at Seashore Vacations was excellent to deal with. Overall we had a very good stay.

This is the second time we've rented this property. It is well equipped, especially dishes in the kitchen.
Walls are thin. It can be a problem if neighbors are loud. (A problem in 2019; quiet neighbor in 2020.

This home was just what our family needed. It was very clean, had all the amenities we needed, plenty of space, and a great location. We walked right across the street to get to the beach. We rode our bikes to get ice cream nearly every day. The grocery store, shops, and ice cream were all just a few minutes away. I'd love to come back to this same home next year.

We loved how roomy the condo was and how close it was to everything we wanted to do! The pool was about 20 steps away. The public beach access was right across the street, and Coligny Plaza was only three blocks away. Great location! Great place!

We have stayed at Surf Court for over 30 years for our family summer vacations at Hilton Head. We now require two rentals since our children are grown with their children. Surf Court is very convenient to the beach and shopping. Our condo was clean and comfortable. Seashore Vacations, Inc is always helpful and responsive if needed.

This unit is very well equipped and very clean. Both of which are important to us. Plenty of towels, pillows, extra blankets, dishes, pans and good selection of utensils. Newer dishwasher, washer and dryer. Excellent location, steps from the pool, very short walk to the beach. Friendly agent with quick response to any calls. The king bed is very firm, too firm for us, but in excellent condition. The other beds were very comfortable. We only had two complaints. The stove has one front burner that couldn't even be used and the whole thing really needs to be replaced. We didn't burn anything but the smoke detector went off several times during our stay when the stove/oven were used but not consistently. More annoying than anything. It appears as though many things have been upgraded recently but the stove stuck out like a sore thumb. Also, the internet connection is listed as unsecured, however, we couldn't even find it to connect. The agent hooked us up with another connection that worked ok for our needs. The signal wasn't the greatest, but it worked.

For the price being the same as other units in this complex, we would stay at another one with these two issues. Otherwise it was great.

One last issue with all of these units but not the fault of the owner or agent. The walls are very thin. We had a group of boys (appeared to be 15-18 years old) with no adult supervision staying in the unit next door. Loud rap music most days and late into the night, bass thumping so we could actually feel the vibration, occasional thumps through the wall like they were wrestling, and loud conversations. I eventually went next door to inform them how thin the walls are. They were as respectful as a group of boys that age will be, but it didn't make for a peaceful stay this time. Luckily they left mid-week and we were there the full week.

Had a great vacation staying at Surf Court 70. Great location with short walks to the pool, beach and Coligny Plaza. The unit was dated, but functional. The kitchen appliances worked properly, but there was an odor when using the stove. Check in was great and we were able to check in before the stated 4pm time. Our friends were not so lucky and they were also staying at Surf Court, so it's the luck of the draw. The unit was fairly clean when we arrived, but I would not say they did a deep cleaning. This unit could use an improvement on the bedding in the master bedroom. The comforter definitely needs replaced. It was nice to have a table/chairs set on the patio. Some units did not. We have stayed at several locations on HHI and for the money you can't beat the location. We will be back.

This company is exactly what I like in a vacation rental. Very easy to work with, good condos, good prices, good location, MUCH better than a hotel. I have rented from them for 3 years straight now and plan to continue as long as they are here.

We loved our stay at Surf Court. We would certainly stay there again.

However, we had numerous issues with the WiFi service.

We rented that condo specifically because it had a dedicated service for #70. All three adults needed access due to work obligations.

We had NO service at any time during the week! In addition, 2 messages asking for a solution we ignored. A maintenance person finally came on Thursday (we stayed thru Sat. a.m.); he didn't know anything about computer issues, and wanted to take one of our laptops with him - which of course, we declined!

The service obviously needs a password protected router, and should not be advertised as having WiFi if it does not!
