Location was ideal! It was so nice to have a pool since the ocean was so hot! Already missing having my coffee looking at the ocean. Would def recommend

Problems with TV in living was handled very well. New tv was installed within 24 hrs. Condo was clean and well equipped. All system worked well and overall we felt very comfortable. Except for the main bedroom king bed. It was not comfortable and crowned in the middle causing one to sleep on a slope. I would recommend that mattress be replaced. We enjoyed our week there and hope to return.

We were very satisfied with this unit. So comfortable and spacious. So very well stocked. You could tell that the comfort of the renter was of the utmost importance. Definitely aiming to vacation here again. Absolutely loved the place and its location.

We rented Shorewood 501 for a week of catching up with girlfriends. The condo is comfortable and the views of the ocean greet you as soon as you walk in! The only minor problem was with the electric outlets. Many did not hold a plug! Using hair dryers in the two back bathrooms caused the outlets to stop working. The breaker panel is obstructed by the washer/dryer and unlabeled so it was difficult to see what needed to be flipped back on. This was our only issue. Seashore Vacations brought us a Keurig machine from their office to use for the week! They are the best!

Spectacular. 501 was spacious clean and had everything we needed. The views were the best we’ve had. Ease of access to the pool and beach were appreciated. The semi-private beach was nice especially when so close to coligny. The grounds including the pool were well maintained. We would absolutely stay again. (Family of 7)

We booked this Unit as we like the s forest beech area, no carpet, no pets as we have 1 with allergy issues. upon arriving unit appeared to be clean. after 1st night in master bedroom one head terrible respiratory issues . , with further viewing we did notice what appeared to be animal hair behind bed. after speaking with full time resident we were informed that they were some service animals permitted on site, we truly understand , however we feel we should have been notified before booking . luckily we had small enough party to move to another bedroom.

Thank you for taking the time to pass this information along. We do not have any requests or inquiries regarding a service animal for any reservation taken in Shorewood 501 for 2024. Most of the condominium complexes on Hilton Head (including Shorewood) do not permit pets. In the case of Shorewood - not even owners can have pets. So if you see a pet at Shorewood it is most likely a "Service Animal" and should be only with the person that it provides service for. If that person goes to the beach - the service animal goes to the beach. If that person goes out to eat - the service animal goes out to eat. A true Service Animal is never left alone in the property when everyone else in the group is out & about. A service animal should not be confused with an "Emotional Support" animal. We get much more "Emotional Support" animal requests than we do "Service Animal" requests. Service Animals are backed by the ADA (America with Disabilities Act) and owners of these animals have paperwork with certification to that effect. Emotional Support animals are not considered "Service Animals" by the ADA. Thus no certification from ADA. As a result, we (Seashore Vacations) do not accept Emotional Support animals unless we have permission from the owner of the property as well as the Homeowner's Association. Especially in complexes that do not even allow their owners to bring pets.

Excellent location, the views are by far the best on South Forest Beach. Spacious and well equipped condo that is a short walk to restaurants at Coligny, and Celebration Park.

Pictures do no do this property justice! Beautiful, updated decor and furniture with plenty of room for everyone. We spent most of our time on the large covered balcony with direct views of the ocean and the pool. Prior to our visit, I had several questions for the property management team and they were very responsive and informative. I highly recommend this property and look forward to returning.

unfortunately for me the shorewood has not become a relaxining experience. Just way to much constant landscaping starting at 7:50 ( not 8:00 am ) combine that with the ongoing building maintenace with its high noise level, I realize this is necessary, however I believe the early landscaping could be scheduled a bit latter so some trying to enjoy a little quite on their balcony . Kids of course could care less which is fine.

We stayed at 501 Shorewood with our three teenagers during Spring Break week. We thoroughly enjoyed the space and amazing views. The kids loved the easy access to the pool and the beach. We ate most of our meals on the balcony. The layout of condo is great with two bedrooms on one end and master on the other. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Every time I walked in, the views took my breath away. The kids have already requested we stay here again next year.

The view was stunning and well worth it. Easy beach access and near shops. The condo has everything you need but if you are picky about towels you might bring your own. Nicely furnished but could use a deep cleaning and a little updating.We very much appreciated that the owners fees were low. This made the place much more affordable than the daily cost would suggest. The outdoor pool and hot tub were wonderful.

Lovely condo, nicely updated except for master bathroom, which was extremely small. Nice amenities, only “problem” was very dull knifes! That’s really the only negatives. Great location and beautiful balcony.

Our stay was very relaxing. We were pleased with the accommodations. The only recommendation I would make is to vacuum the insides of the dresser drawers; they had some sand in them. Otherwise, everything was great.

The rental experience was very good, check in was simple, staff was great when we had concerns about the air conditioning. Of course, we were very dissatisfied with the elevator being down for an entire day and we were in the 5th floor. We had to take all of the heavy stuff down five flights of steps. This if course is no reflection of rental company, but a problem with Shorewood Villas. I firmly believe folks who stayed there should get some type if reimbursement for the inconvenience! As a side note 501 Shorewood is a penthouse/top floor and as such half of the unit was very warm in fact it didn't cool off until evening. I could not feel any cool air coming out of vents. Owners may want to get a second hvac and install it.

My family stayed at 501 Shorewood and were completely enamored of the property. The condo was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and came supplied with tons of thoughtful extras (like a Keurig, extra baking supplies, large tv with Netflix, etc.) that made the stay as comfortable as being at home.

I can't say enough about how nice the property was, and thank the owners for allowing others to stay there!

There are only 4 units which have the views that #501 has.These are million dollar units because of the views. In real estate it's all about location and this condo has it. Great spot on the island. The first thing that you encounter are the views all around the room. Since the south wall is basically a window wall and the east is the balcony you have great vistas all around! The balcony is larger than the others in the building,it is decorated as in the photos and is a great place to sit and listen to the ocean. The owners have clearly been doing some remodeling since the living room, dining area and kitchen look to have been completely remodeled and upgraded. Bedrooms are very large and well decorated. Given that the owners are upgrading it would seem reasonable to think that they will get to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The bathrooms do need some work and upgrading as well as the ceilings in the bedrooms which are stained. These issues can be overlooked since the location is perfect and the rest of the condo (and balcony which is a great place to sit anytime of the day or evening) is very comfortable.
The condo was not as clean as it should have been and I did have to spend some time cleaning when we arrived. This is not a reflection on the owners but on the cleaning staff. I would get a different cleaning crew as there was food debris on the cupboards, dirt and sand on the floors, a lot of dust, wrappers, and plastic ware under cabinets, beds, and dressers. The bedspread on the twin bed had a very large yellow stain on it which was disconcerting so we did not use it. We also had an issue with the dryer and the refrigerator as they were not working properly. But once we called management they sent a repairman out, though we were without a fridge for 2 days.
Yes, there were some issues with the condo and hopefully they will be addressed at some point. However, you can't beat the views and location. I would recommend this condo over any other in the buil

Great location! Close to walk to beach and the pool. Short bike ride to Coligny for ice cream and to the grocery stores. My elderly dad enjoyed watching our family out on the beach from the balcony. This is our second year at Shorewood 501 and would definitely come again.

This was our second stay at Shorewood, first in Unit 501. Our family had a great time. Shorewood is such a great location for the price! Our kids love the zero entry pool. There were a few minor things with the condo like really slow draining sinks and one of the showers not working properly. Kitchen could use a few new items, upgraded coffee maker and some nicer pots/pans. Overall though, it was a great family vacation! !

As always 501 just doesn't disappoint! Some upgrades have been made, kitchen is well stocked, and the view is amazing. We continue to wonder why the owners don't take the TV out of that cabinet and mount it on the wall as the sound is very muffled. Still the best price for a 3 bedroom corner unit. If we had the money, we would buy!!! Thanks again for a super holiday.

We could not have asked for better accomodations while on vacation. From start to finish, the rental company was fabulous as was the condo. Loved the decor, kitchen well stocked with anything we needed. This will be the only place we consider staying again when we return to HHI.

Condo was very nice! Well kept and very bright and cheery. Balcony was awesome. HVAC worked very well and the views were fantastic of the ocean, beach and pool area. Elevator was tiny and very slow but manageable. We took the steps a lot. Only drawback was that the kitchen didn't have very many useable dishes or utensils. The proximity to Coligny Shopping area and restaurants was excellent -- just 3 blocks away. Complex is gated, very clean and seemed very safe.

Although the unit is somewhat dated it is still the best oceanfront condo for the price! It is good to see that the owners have made some changes to make the unit cleaner and more up to date, although the red comfy chair needs to be replaced.

We try and book this unit every time we come to HH and we have been doing this for 20 years, most recently 2x/yr.

Seashore Rentals are good people to deal with.

A great property but very disappointed in some conditions. Seals on dual pane windows broken. Coveted views totally obscured in some cases. When reported, mgnt said the did not know. Windows inexcusable and should have been corrected before the beginning of the season. Apparent end of season cleanliness is not a priority. Dirt, hair, even nails evident on floors through out. Shower door in master inoperative.

We are long time vacationers to Hilton Head Island and Shorewood, this was however the best condo we've EVER had! My husband and kids (16,18,19) were impressed with the condo and very pleased with decor,overall niceness. Well done. The patio door and the master window had condensation between the panes so the view was distorted if you tried to look through so to feel the full effect you had to go out to the balcony, but the view was awesome and being on the top floor, it was quiet. Another not so good was being on the pool side as guests tend to NOT adhere to pool hours and are quite NOISY which tends to be annoying. The air conditioner actually quit working one afternoon and within a call to management a conditioner repair man was at the front door and within 1/2 hour the problem was fixed. Overall, great, enjoyable stay.

We have been coming here for 20 years now and always stay at Shorewood . The condos are beautiful, the amenities are perfect. We brought our children here and they are bringing theirs now! Condo needs a wee update - the kitchen needs a few more utensil and living room
furniture needs cleaning ? We have stayed at this condo before and love it but did notice this time it is looking a bit worn

This unit is wonderful. This is the third time at Shorewood. We have stayed in several other units, as we rent 2 or 3 for our family - all our kids and grandkids. This unit has the most wonderful views of the ocean and the pool. The pool was heated and very nice and warm, while the weather was a bit on the cool and rainy side, everyone still spent many hours in the pool, perfect for all ages, especially our toddlers. The grounds and facilities have been beautifully maintained. Love Shorewood and we look forward to visiting again.

Just what the Doc ordered! Although somewhat dated the condo is worth the rental money, especially being able to see both ocean and pool simultaneously. The location is terrific for shopping, biking, and walking. Shorewood is fabulous, must be, we have been going there for 18 years! We just have to figure out the school holiday schedule from state to state!

Really enjoyed 501 Shorewood. The view of the ocean and the pool was perfect-we could see our whole family at one time. Condo was clean, kitchen was well equipped, washer and dryer were great. Would love a queen or king bed rather than a double in guest room-our family members are over 6'! We had a great time.

The location, condition and space4 of this unit was wonderful. I felt that there was obvious pride in ownership. We have always in the past, stayed in timeshares which are in beautiful condition. This, our first experience in a "rental" was a very good one and would def. stay here again. The community was also clean and convenient

Love the property location. Pool was wonderful. The beach location was perfect. Loved looking out my windows and all I saw was water. Would recommend a better cleaning job on the master bath and new carpet. A little worn. Otherwise, loved everything else about our week stay.
