With a balcony accessible by the living room and master bedroom, guests staying in Shorewood 403 enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and its white sandy beaches. After hours in the surf, vacationers return from the ocean via the private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool or a seasonally heated spa. Toddlers have a separate wading pool. Pool is Heated March 1 - April 30 and Oct 1 - November 30. Shorewood is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Shorewood is two blocks from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. King bed in the master bedroom, two twins in bedroom 2, and a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.

Disappointed in Shorewood 403

We have stayed at various villas at Shorewood and this was the first time we were disappointed with the villa. First off we love Shorewood for its location, beach accessibility and great pool. Our oceanfront villa 403 had incredible views and for the most part was livable. The disappointing aspects were primarily that some of the furniture was dated and what you might expect to find at someones garage sale and the master bathroom is not what you would expect for what you are paying for an oceanfront villa. The master shower has moldy caulking, hard water and dirt stains on the tile, shower doors that are old rusted/moldy and falling apart, tiles cracked and a corroded shower head. Trim molding near the shower and around the bathroom door is also rotted in areas with shoddy caulking repairs attempted. There was also a clump of hair in the drain when we arrived so the cleaning wasnt the greatest. The master bathroom definitely needs a renovation. Other than that, we made the best of our stay and enjoyed it. A general update of this villa would be nice to bring it up to the standards of others we have stayed at. Seashore Vacations is always good to work with and everything went smoothly with the reservation and check in. We always look forward to returning to Shorewood but most likely not to Villa 403.

Great spot on the beach

We loved our stay at 403 Shorewood. The view was wonderful, and it was close to the pool and the beach entrance. The kitchen had everything we needed. We definitely want to come back to this property.

Great view of beach

This unit has a great view of the beach. The unit in general has very nice amenities, it is in a great location, the layout is very nice, but the bathrooms could use some upgrading as it relates to finishes. The property was very clean and the property management company was excellent and very responsive. I would recommend this property to a friend and would come back again, if available.

Absolutely Wonderful Vacation Spot!

The location was perfect! The pictures matched tat amazing view! Condo was spacious and comfortable! Fully equipped kitchen, but also great restaurants within walking distance. The beach was a quick 5 minute walk! Check in & out was easy! The staff was very responsive! We will definitely come back again!!

Late October Vacation

The rental was exactly as described. Although it was a bit musty smelling upon arrival, the rental was clean. There was an adequate supply of dishes, paper towels, toilet paper etc. Bedding was clean and there were enough towels for our stay. The location was perfect. We were in walking distance to food and entertainment, and various bike paths.The views of the ocean from the living room, master bedroom and deck were fabulous. I would definitely stay there again.

Shorewood 403

This was our third stay at Shorewood. We love the location, pool, beach access and we always meet the nicest families during our stay. Unfortunately they were putting a new roof on our unit’s building so the sidewalk access to the pool and beach was blocked most of the week. Though we understood it was a safety issue, it was an annoyance. The unit was great, lovely view. I will say it would be nice to have a full length mirror in the bedroom and better pear knives for cutting fruits and vegetables. Minor things to complain about but overall we had a great experience!

Nice Spot!

We have rented many different properties on HH. This condo was excellent and Seashore was beautifully maintained. The convenience of location, view and amenities were wonderful. Also, high praise to the management company for their professionalism and helpfulness. The only complaint we had was although the condo looked cleaned there is a slight need for improvement.

Great location , the facility was clean and well taken care of, the unit furniture is very beat up and dated , and the unit needs a through painting update ! Would love to have had the balcony cleaned and with more comfortable furniture but the view was still stunning

Perfect location

We arrived in HHI unexpectedly and without a reservation. We were delighted to find someone with a unit available and willing to rent for a 3-day stay! Property was great! Unit was very clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. Nice pool and convenient beach access. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the balcony during sunrise and sunset. Only downside - the light colored living room furniture was worn and soiled. I would suggest the owners consider slipcovers.

Great location!

I love the Shorewood condos because of their location and views. This unit was perfect. Very clean with a well stocked kitchen. The living room furniture definitely needs replaced! There's no support in either the coaches or chairs and I had a backache every night. My other complaint, common in most condos, is living room lighting. Three way lamps with one way bulbs. Hard to do serious reading or crafts at night.

Great Condo

403 Shorewood

The location of the rental was perfect with a stunning view of the ocean. The amenities such as the pool were perfect. The building was quiet.
The condo was very clean. But... It was obvious it is an older unit. The fabric furniture and carpet was stained. The kitchen was equipped with an abundance of dishes and silverware, but the cooking dishes and pans were limited and scattered into various cabinets.
The refrigerator was a good size but it was apparent that the water filter had not been changed in a long time. The other appliances were in good working order.
Seashore Vacations was good to work with...there was good communication during the rental period, they kept us well informed.
We arrived on a Sunday so had no contact with the manager until the next day when we needed to get our second parking pass.
We went into Savannah one day and did a Hop on Hop off Tour which we highly recommend.
We will definitely come to Hilton Head again but will look for a different condo.

Beautiful view... pool and hot tub very nice.. kitchen was well equipped..living room furniture worn but ok... bedrooms were comfortable and condo was clean...location is perfect , walking distance to Coligny Plaza..best of all, they fantastic beach weather!!

Best location in HHI! The condo was clean but definitely needs updated! The furniture is worn, the decorations are very 1990’s. A lot of brass features in the bathrooms. Overall, we’d stay again for cleanliness and location

"Our Stay at 403 Shorewood"

The unit itself was warm and inviting, and very cozy. However, upholstered sofa and loveseat are worn, soiled, and need to be replaced. The mattresses are horrible, particularly in the small bedroon( twin beds). The bathrooms need to be updated...and shower glass was loose in the master BR. I don't mind paying $200+ for a cleaning fee, but this unit was not what we have been used to in other vacation stays. The carpet needs to be cleaned/replaced. I discovered how dirty the tile floors were, when I had to wipe the bathroom floor to find a contact lens. The tissue I used was grey. This unit needs a deep cleaning. There were several lights out(fridge, microwave, bathroom, a lamp). Maintanence man was there very quickly to address this issue. We stopped at the office as we were leaving to mention these issues, and were told that the unit has been recently sold. The owner will be coming to HHI very soon. Hopefully, there are plans to renovate. I will be watching for updates. I would stay here again if the unit is updated.
As far as the lack of cleanliness, I know that help is really short at this time, but this should be taken into consideration when assessing cleaning fees.

Condo was very nice and excellent location, but sofa, chairs, beds were old and not convenient. Most likely condo was excellent 20 years ago, but not maintained. The building location is best on the island.
