The location of this property is perfect! The pool was exactly what we were hoping for. The rental company made everything so easy, we even got to pick up our parking pass and pool wrist bands before the room was ready which made us feel like we got a whole additional day added to our vacation! Will absolutely be back :)

This is our second time staying at Shorewood and we'll certainly return. We come to Hilton Head to visit family. Love the ocean view, early morning walks on the beach and swimming in the pool. Handy to have a kitchen for breakfast. The condo is spotless, the kitchen had everything we needed, appreciated dishtowels and paper towels.Communication is clear and easy. And when we had a minor problem with a hall bathroom door, staff were very responsive.

Unit was clean. We had a drain issue with the guest shower the first time using it, but that was quickly resolved by maintenance the next day. The view from the balcony is spectacular and you're within walking distance of Coligny Plaza shops and restaurants. The unit's furniture and decor were a little dated but that wasn't a big deal to me. Parking close to our elevator/stairs was never an issue. Kitchen fully stocked with anything you'd need. We enjoyed both the pool and the beach.

We were very pleased with the rental from the beginning. Communication with the property managers was top notch. The place was very nicely furnished, the pool is gorgeous, and you cannot beat the location. We will be back!

Booked directly with the property management company. The process was easy. The text communication allowed for a seamless after-hour check-in. Unit was clean with a good location to the beach and garage parking. The problem was Monday morning came and they started construction on a unit above us, as well as other units. The grinding sound from the ceiling was so loud for several days that we had to pause all conversation while the drilling was going on. We notified the property management company and they apologized. So now we're stuck not being able to sleep in past 8:30 and having to leave the room during the work day. I guess construction has to happen at some point during the year, but early October seems a bit early. I felt like we got screwed.

Perfect condo for small family with kids. The property was very walkable and had a nice pool and beach access. Everything inside was exactly as advertised. Check in/out was easy and could do over phone so we didn’t need to add an extra stop on our way into town. I’d stay here again!

Access to the beach and walking distance to food/shopping.
Can’t beat the location. Beach and pool were clean. Quiet location. Everything was working. Rental property could use some minor repairs in the 2nd bathroom, blinds in the master, pantry door, etc but doesn’t take away from the stay. Would rent again. The price was affordable for the location. For parents: 2nd bedroom was really dark as the window faces away from the beach and under the covered walkway. As far as additions: No pack and play or other small children conveniences.

The rental company was excellent and communicated promptly to enable us to access the unit without going to their office since we arrived by taxi. The unit was clean, but a bit musty smelling. I bought an air freshener which helped. Some parts of the unit have been updated, but the furniture it somewhat worn and beds a bit uncomfortable. The lighting in the unit is not great. The unit could use some updating. Nevertheless, the easy access to the beach and shopping allowed us to avoid renting a car.

The condo was well located, spacious and clean. Our unit had a great view of the ocean from our balcony. We had moved our reservation to this property from another in response to learning about construction activity at the other property. Unfortunately there was significant and disruptive construction noise and dust at our unit also, which was unexpected and disappointing.

Have been coming to Hilton Head since 2000. Have stayed at Shorewood in different units for at least 10 of those years. It is a beautiful complex and Seashore Vacations are a GREAT rental agency!!

Seashore Vacations does an excellent job and makes the process easy. The location, distance to beach, and the view was fantastic. The unit was well kept and comfortable, however stains on furniture and comforter were evident. The elevator was out of service most of the week which was an inconvenience but we understand things happen and areuncontrollable. Overall great stay and will use Seashores again in the future.

Especially enjoyed the view of the pool and ocean from the balcony, so pretty! I would consider upgrading the twin bed frames as the aren’t very sturdy and quite squeaky. Also the patio furniture is too large for the space making it hard to move around. The elevators were broken multiple times but it wasn’t that big of a deal to use the stairs except on check in day when lugging stuff up 3 flights of stairs. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. So close to everything!

Great location and beautiful view of ocean. This condo is in walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Quiet unit, at least in April. Nice pool area and hot tub. Easy walk to the beach. Front bedroom has very bright outdoor lighting that shines in the window at night. Owner needs to put up curtains in that bedroom. Nice mattresses. Loved sitting out on the balcony.

The view from this unit's balcony is amazing! We did have a couple of issues upon arrival but the management company addressed them quickly. The pool area is very nice and just steps from the beach. Easy walk to the Coligny Beach shopping area.

This was our second trip to Shorewood, first in unit 333. We specifically picked this property because of the location and pool. The rental itself was amazing, very clean, and had a wonderful view. Only disappointment was we were told the heater for the pool would start on 10/1 but it definitely was not on. Would have been nice in the evening. Other than that, we absolutely loved our trip and will be back again.

We enjoyed our stay, descriptions of property were accurate and view and beach proximity was wonderful. Check in was easy, the complex was well maintained. Clearly the staff cares. Pool area was great for relaxing after spending the morning at the beach. Don’t hesitate to book, you won’t be disappointed.

This rental needs a deep cleaning. Otherwise, the rental is good and Shorewood Properties is nice. Right on the beach and close to Coligny.

Overall very satisfied with condo. The process was a little cumbersome. Found it on VRBO and thought I was dealing with them but it's actually Seashore Vacations that handles the property. I was therefore getting emails and charges from both sites. I think I got 12 emails from the sites. I wasn't sure at first what I was working with. I eventually called Seashore and talked to someone and they were very friendly and helpful. The condo was bigger than others we have stayed in and a great location. It was an easy walk to the plaza and right on the beach. My advice for travelers is if you plan to stay for awhile there is no storage in the kitchen. Bedrooms have a lot of storage but kitchen is lacking. Overall a good experience.

The unit was as advertised. The unit was well-furnished and well-maintained. The view from unit out towards the Atlantic was spectacular. The management was helpful in every way possible, given the corona virus limitations. The only minor disappointment was that the pool area remained closed longer than was necessary (the Governor had lifted restrictions). I would absolutely recommend this property.

The condo was very nice, and as advertised. Only complaint is that the TV in the living room did not work -- or special instructions needed for it. I would rebook this unit if/when I return to Hilton Head.

The Shorewood is our most favorite place to stay as it is a very nice complex within walking/bike riding to many restaurants, shopping, grocery stores. The condo we rented this year was okay. I would rent it again, however it definitely could use a new paint job inside and updated living room furniture. Also the bathroom plumbing definitely needs some improvement. The view was magnificent. The best meal we had was from One Hot Mama's, which has been our favorite the last couple of years. We have not had a bad meal there. We went on the Happy Hour Cruise at South Beach and saw dolphins and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I LOVE THE 333 UNIT THE ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD IS THAT WE BELIEVE THE BOSCH WASHER IS GOING BAD, THERE WERE METAL AGAINST METAL SOUNDS AS GEARS SHIFTED IN THIS QUALITY DISHWASHER.. THERE WAS NO METAL IN OUR CLOTHES. I WOULD JUMP ON THIS REPAIR ASAP, AS I RECENTLY TALKED TO THE MANAGER AT A HHGREG ONE OF THE LARGEST APPLIANCE STORES IN CINCINNATI, AND SHE SAID THAT THESE WASHERS LAST AROUND 5-6 YEARS.. THE WASHER OPERATED FINE WHEN WE STAYED THERE A FEW YEARS AG0. I AM HOPING TO CLOSE A SALE OR TWO IN THE NEXT 30 DAYS, IF THAT HAPPENS I MAY BE BACK IN LATE MAY. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE NEW PATIO FURNITURE BY THE POOL, A GREAT IMPROVEMENT

Beautiful view.Condo is in center of bldg. and overlooks the pool and ocean. Several repairs were needed during our 3 month stay. All were quickly completed. Love staying here and hope to again.

This unit was in a prime location. The views of the pool and the ocean were beautiful! Our teenage girls loved the fact that they could walk out our doors and be at the beach in just minutes.
We were very close to Caligny Beach and Village. A very nice market place. We were also a short walk to The Fitness Place. For $40/week all four of us could work out daily. The walk to the facility was scenic. We liked the close proximity to Sea Pines Resort/HarbourTown and South Beach. All within a very short drive of 333 Shorewood.
If I could make a few suggestions to potential renters: While this unit has a beautiful view of the ocean and is in a great location, if you're planning to use the kitchen to cook, be sure to bring your own spices and condiments. There was nothing in the unit to add to foods while cooking. I had read this before we left for our destination so I brought salt/pepper, grated cheese, and a garlic bulb. This was just enough for us, but certainly consider other spices if you're planning to cook. Also, the unit does not provide "extra" toilet tissue, dishwasher detergent, or paper towels. Bring glass cleaner as the dining room table has a glass tabletop.They provide one extra trash can liner per bathroom & kitchen. I brought along extra trash bags and we did use them. They do provide towels and bed linens. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. I would recommend this unit to anyone who is looking to experience Hilton Head Island with his/her family as this is a VERY family oriented place!

We had a great stay at Shorewood. The grounds are beautifully maintained as well as the structures. We felt very spoiled with the covered parking for our unit. The pool area was perfect for our 20mo and 4 year old. A very short easy walk to the beach, the location was wonderful. We also enjoyed being able to walk to Coligny Plaza for dinner and ice cream. Everything else was a very short / easy drive. I would say our particular unit could use some updates. The bedding, lighting, and furniture are pretty dated. The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated. The front load Bosch washing machine takes almost a hour to run a load and the oven is extremely slow in pre-heating. There are zero spices, but most of the cookware you could need is provided. We would have loved a DVD player in either of the bedrooms, but the flat screen tv in the family room is nice. We stayed at the end of May and had perfect weather, low humidity, and barely any rain. We would definitely stay there again with our family.

The Villa is beautiful and in good condition. However the Bosch Washingmachine needs to be fixed. The Showers in the Bathrooms should have hoses for hygienic and cleaning reasons.

The previous 10 years that we visited HHI we stayed at one of the ocean-front hotels. Now that I stayed at a condo I will never go back. The value is much better and it felt like home. Also Allison and the others in the rental office were great.

The condo and complex were very nice. The washer and dryer set up was odd. The dryer was mounter so high on the wall I couldn't see into the drum or reach all the clothes and the washer shook so much during the spin cycle that it walked a couple of feet. The rental agreement states that we will provided with four sets of towels per bathroom which would be eight for ours, but the housekeepers only bring six sets. The same thing happened at my sister's condo.
