We recently stayed at this condo and overall had a pleasant experience, largely thanks to its fantastic location. It’s tucked away in a quiet area with a lovely beach view—only slightly obscured by palm trees and the pool—and is within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars.
The unit appeared to have been recently renovated, with fresh paint, an updated kitchen, bathrooms, and flooring, but the furnishings told a different story. The beds were comfortable, although the twin beds felt a bit wobbly. The condo was clean for the most part, though we did notice a significant amount of dust on the plant stands that seemed to have built up over time. We didn’t end up using the pull-out sofa bed, but it’s worth noting that there were no extra sheets or blankets available, which would have been a problem had our fifth guest not canceled last minute.
A few areas could benefit from improvement:
• Furniture: The bedroom dressers were extremely dated and difficult to use. The living room furniture was worn, somewhat dirty, and not comfortable for extended lounging—especially noticeable when we were stuck inside due to rain.
• Mirrors: There were no mirrors outside of the bathrooms. For a condo advertised to sleep six, mirrors in the bedrooms would be a practical and appreciated addition.
• Linens: No extra bedding was provided. For a unit that includes a pull-out sofa, having spare linens should be standard.
• Kitchen Supplies: The kitchen was understocked with basic equipment and glassware. A condo meant for six should have at least 6–8 of everything—plates, utensils, wine glasses, etc.
• Washer/Dryer: The laundry appliances did not function properly. The washer made a lot of noise and became unbalanced—even with just a single towel inside—which made doing laundry frustrating.
• Decor: The unit lacked any pictures or deco

Two couple stayed here for a HHI music festival. The location was perfect walking distance to many activities. We rented bikes through the offer made when reserving the condo and they were delivered and waiting for use upon arrival. Access to the beach and pool area was convenient. The pool and hot tub were well maintained. The condo was clean and comfortable for our stay. The property manger provided information via text alerts very timely. I was able to respond via text with any question which were answered during normal business hours. The unit could use some additional glassware as found we were cleaning or running the dishwasher frequently. We would definitely consider staying here again on a future visit.

Wonderful super clean, spacious and fully remodeled unit. Had everything needed for cooking. The newly remodeled showers were great. Views were beautiful. Parking was easy. Shorewood is a beautifully maintained property, easy walk to coligny, Tiki Hut. Seashore vacations was extremely responsive and easy to work with.

Overall it was a great experience. The maintenance crew was very responsive when there were issues with the A/C and water heater. Unfortunately the washer and dryer were not functioning properly and were unable to be fixed. The living room furniture is comfortable. The mattress in the master bedroom was not really comfortable. The space and remodeling is very nice. As for the amenities everything we asked for was provided quickly. I would suggest more silverware be provided. The walkability, security, and view are fantastic. The property could have been cleaner. I believe the remodel was finished just before our arrival so there was a lot of construction dust. Overall we were very satisfied and will return next year.

Shorewood has the best location near everything.
Pool & jacuzzi was very nice & well maintained.
We went horseback riding at Lawton stables & dinner in Harbourtown. Was a great trip.

We have stayed at shore wood three times now in three separate units. However, as with everything these days, prices on most units have inflated and were out of our price range and we were looking elsewhere. Someone must have cancelled and this unit popped up in our price range and I was excited. The unit itself could use some repairs/updates, but that would most likely put it in a new price range. Everything was satisfactory, and the view/location in unbeatable. If you are willing to sacrifice staying in an updated “fancy” condo for a better price range and same amenities/location, then this is your best bet.

We checked in on Christmas eve check in was flawless, apartment had just had carpets cleaned, everything was in working order. Stayed for 10 days couldnt have asked for a better stay !!!!

The location couldn’t have been better. We walked to everything and there were so many great restaurants-all with live music. The complex was beautiful and in top condition. The condo is a spacious well designed space that is in need of love as it is a bit outdated. The unit and kitchen were well stocked but the cabinets were in poor repair. It was very clean and that is most important to us. It has a large balcony with a beautiful view. All in all we had a fantastic stay and hope to stay here again.

This condo comes highly not recommended. The screen door was missing the outside handle,so it made it very hard to open and close. Two utensil drawers had a sign on it to be careful when you open it because the drawer will fall! Seriously..minimal kitchenware.Some of the blind strips were missing,so there was no privacy outside the master bedroom to the balcony. This condo needs updated and fixed. The condo was a good price and I guess you get what you paid for,but in my opinion these things are definitely a hazard and unacceptable.

We enjoyed our stay , my son is in a wheelchair and found the beach access so easy. The rental did have a few things that needed fixed. The door look would get stuck and cabinets needed repaired . Some of the window blinds were missing . But overall clean and met our needs . Especially for the price it was a great deal .

I have stayed in Shorewood many times so I knew the location would be great. This unit however is very outdated. The kitchen drawers had warnings that they would fall out if opened too far. The window blinds were missing slats. The patio doors had not been replaced when many in the complex were several years ago. There was no TV in the second bedroom. The unit was clean.

Fantastic view from deck is best thing about this condo. The owners have not put any money into this condo to maintain it. Rather than fix the utensil door they put a piece of tape on it that says drawer falls out. Don’t plan on cooking in this kitchen No extras included in kitchen- not even salt or pepper. No extra trash bags, paper towels, etc. One roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Screen door from main bedroom does not open and one blind slat keeps falling off, which they’ve taped back on. Back bedroom has such dim lights, have to take suitcase out of room to see inside it. Air conditioning works very well, but temperature cannot be controlled. It was very cold in condo and we had to sit in deck to warm up. This would be a great condo if the owners cared enough to maintain it.

This weekly rate for this property was significant less than the others in Shorewood. It is dated. Cabinetry and doors do not operate well. Carpet, furniture, bedding is very worn. However Shorewood is a great location. 600 feet from the ocean with a great pool. So if you don't plan to spend time in the room it might be worth the savings to you?

Our condo is in deffinate need of a makeover. The couches and chairs were so used it was like sitting on the floor you sank so low in furniture and the bed in . no ext the master you could feel the springs in thge bedsprinin the mattress no extra blankets

It’s always great to come to HHI. Seashore Vacations are great to deal with , looking forward to our next trip. Great views, everything is close, pool and hot tub are great. Nice quick walk to the beach , great sunrises. Now, the unit its self is in much need of an upgrade. TV missing in 3nd bedroom, other TVs are good. Eager and dryer work great. Most drawers in “whole” unit don’t work well, pull out they fall out, or just broken. Everything was pretty clean. Pato sliding glass doors don’t slide well, bedroom patio door doesn’t open at all. Master bedroom needs a new mattress. Wallpaper is pealing all over unit, some drywall is coming off around opening from kitchen to living area. You pay for the view in this unit. As I said tho, it’s always great to come to HHI, unit needs a makeover.

I stayed here with two girlfriends for a quick girls weekend. Overall our experience was great. The place was clean, had a great view and we loved the pool. I also liked the location. In general it had a cozy feel and had everything we needed.

On our last night there was a lot of noise from other units which made it hard to sleep. The only other drawback is that the unit is a bit dated and some of the drawers in the kitchen don’t work, but everything you need you have access to. That type of thing doesn’t bother me, but it might bother someone else.

The condo was nice and met our family's needs. The view and location was perfect.The beds were not comfortable with the exception of the master. The electric stove burners were uneven with the incorrect fitting pans under them making cooking difficult. It was clean. We would stay again.

The location and layout of this unit were great and I have stayed in this complex several times before. This unit is in dire need of upgrades! The reviews stated that it was older and needed upgrades and they weren't wrong! The unit appeared clean but the cabinets, especially in the bathrooms, left splinters when you opened or closed the drawers. The mattresses were pretty uncomfortable also and linens were not soft. The towels were like sandpaper too. The atrociously outdated vertical blinds were missing some slats which allowed sunlight and anyone looking that way to see right into the master bedroom! Overall, Shorewood has been great in the past but this unit desperately needs a complete overhaul! I will definitely rent through Seashore Vacations again but it will not be this unit!

Great location, ocean access, pool accommodations. The customer service provided by Seashore vacations was first rate. The condo was spacious. Even though the drawers and finishes in the kitchen were old, that had zero impact on our stay. The condo was clean and we would rent here again.

It's a beach home but we were a bit disappointed by the overall cleaning job upon arrival. However the pool, proximity to the beach and Coligny made up for it. Our part of the beach was also less crowded. This property is a great deal and I would love to return to Shorewood. Easy beach access and easy access to bike paths. Our favorite restaurants were Crave (happy hour daily 4:30 to 6:30) and Kenny B's. The weather was gorgeous, we saw dolphins daily and the water was warm enough to swim. We enjoyed a late check out. This particular unit needs some updating and our check in experience could have been smoother. We didn't rent a car. We had to request an additional Uber stop to the realtor office to pick up our check in envelope that only contained the four digit gate code! The code to our unit was shared via phone when it was ready for us. I would have preferred having that number shared with me via phone or text. Hopefully this is something the property management will consider in the future. Overall we had a great time and hope to make HHI for spring break part of our family tradition.

We decided at the last minute to do a weekend trip over Labor Day and Shorewood was the only property available. It was a great stay. We loved the location, and will likely book there again. there

Location was unbeatable, and so was the value. We knew when we booked that we weren't getting an updated condo and that was ok. We werent going to be in the condo much and we didnt need fancy. However we did need a functional space and there were a couple maintenance issues that made using the appliances/features in the condo very difficult. The garbage disposal had a leak so we couldn't use part of the sink right away (although it was fixed within 24 hrs of us reporting it), the dryer lint filter was broken and kept falling off when the dryer was in use, and the kitchen housewares that were included (pots, pans, utensils) were so cheap, some of our food got ruined when we made dinner/bfast for our family. Also, the condo really needs paint and the bedding and mattresses were in desperate need of replacement. They weren't comfortable at all to sleep on. Overall, we had a great time,l due to the location, and the condo was clean. But some simple changes without having to renovate the condo would make it a lot more functional and enjoyable. Because of those reasons, I would probly spend a little more money to get a more functional space.

We really enjoyed our stay. The parking garage was really nice, it did rain a couple of days when we were there. The unit could use a little updating. The floors were dirty near the windows and the sinks in the bathrooms were dirty. The bed spreads in the front bedroom were dirty, one had a bad stain.

Very positive experience with Seashore Vacations and with the location of the rental property. We are a family of 5 and were very comfortable with the unit and its cleanliness, kitchen and appliances, etc. Some could be upgraded (like the coffee machine) and their could be some minor improvements around the tub and baseboard of the bathrooms.

Good ocean view and beach access, plus nice big pool and hot tub, for after the beach. 2 blocks away from Van der Meer Tennis Academy where our 3 children were registered for the week.

Furniture was cheap and dated. CabinetS were worn. Bedroom carpets were worn and dirty. New washer and dryer worked well, though dryer vent is not hooked up and blows lint into the kitchen.

View was good and plenty of parking. Guards were nice and grounds were well maintained. Love the pool and beach access!!

Chose this at last minute because it was available, had two bedrooms, and a heated pool in March. Way after hours check in went smoothly. There is covered parking for one of your vehicles. Unit equipment and furnishings are adequate, old but serviceable. Drawer sliders are getting worn, some wood trim is showing it's age, the vinyl on bathroom floors is a bit curled in places, etc. That being said, it is a good location, worked well for our family of 4, and is fine if you're not expecting the Taj Mahal or a gourmet kitchen. Our goals were tennis resort sampling for me and general low country fun for the rest. It is a fifteen minute bike ride from Van der Meer, and a 15 minute drive to Palmetto Dunes. Coligny Circle with local coffee shop, restaurants, shops) is a 3 minute walk. Ditto beach. Surf cold so the heated pool was nice. Activities we did: found clams on Port Royal beach, (delicious clam linguini that night), toured Defuski Island, kayaked, rented a boat and cruised the area waters (found some oysters and had some steamed oysters for dinner)watched the obligatory dolphins which are ubiquitous, and took a Segway tour. I played tennis at both Van der Meer and Palmetto Dunes, and learned something at both.
The Hilton Head vibe is moderate upscale, without any observe snootiness. We felt "in place". Traffic wasn't bad. Bikes are a great way to get around. When we checked out, we got a call from the cleaners about an item we'd left in the freezer, which was nice. I'd recommend this unit and location.

The view of 332 is gorgeous. The unit was dirty and not in good repair. The unit needs updating, drawers falling out in kitchen and the countertop is splitting. Besides this, we love Shorewood and the amenities. Hopefully these repairs will be done as this could be a wonderful unit to rent.

We heard about Shorewood from friends who have stayed there for many years. Although they had told us how wonderful it was, you just never know, right? Well, from the moment we walked into "our" condo, we fell in love with the place. It was clean, smelled nice, and had everything we needed for our week. The only odd thing that I noticed was that there was no cover or pad on the mattress to keep it clean/protected. The view was lovely. The pool and hot tub were also clean and felt fantastic. We would most certainly stay there again.

Unit 333 was overall very accommodating with decent amenities. The few complaints I have are as follows: it would be nice if you supplied a few staple items like salt, pepper, sugar, maybe a couple spices, and some garbage bags etc. Also this unit didn't have some necessity pans like 9x13 casserole dish or muffin pan. Our ironing board was broke, the guest room closet doors were broke and just sitting on the ground, and I was told to get a high chair I would have to rent one. Despite the few complaints, our experience here was great. The condo had dimming switches which was nice since we stayed with small children, and the sofa, beds, table etc were all very nice. I would recommend this property and this management company to others and would say to request an updated unit.

Shorewood is in a fabulous location on the ocean in S. Forest Beach with a terrific pool. The units are spacious and clean...but many are in need of updating. Functional... but all the kitchen drawers are in terrible shape - most don't open and close properly. Bathrooms are OLD but, again, functional. The beds and pillows - not comfortable. And judging from the print on the mattresses, probably original to the units from 1975. And the only reason we saw that print was because the sheets and mattress protectors are so old and worn that they would slip off the mattresses during the night. But...again ... it was what we expected. There are 3 TV's in the unit which is a bonus. And the view is very nice. We booked last minute so we didn't have the best pick of units as far as condition, but we did get a nice view which was more important than a more updated unit.

This was our first trip to Hilton Head and we had a great time and we are thinking about coming back next year. Our condo was great! We loved the location and if we are able to make it back next year we would rent the same condo. I only have a few minor suggestions, but nothing that would keep us from coming back. The dryer and sweeper in our condo could use an updated. Also a couple of the kitchen drawers need fixed. The last suggestion I would like to share is regarding the bike racks outside of our building. One or two more bike racks would be great, especially near the first building as you enter the complex gate. The week we were there was so many bikes jammed into the rack you could barely get your bike out without a struggle and some guests were unable to use the rack at all. We all that said those were all just very minor problems.
Our first trip to Hilton Head was better than we than we expected and our condo was great and very clean. We also loved that Shorewood was gated to enter the complex and gated to get to and from the beach. We felt very safe. Parking was great and Shorewood's location was within walking distance to pretty much everything you need while on your trip. Great experience!

The condo is in a good location with a great view. However, it is in desperate need of updates. The pots and pans has sawdust in them which gets there when you open and close the cupboards. The kitchen cabinets are in poor condition and don't open and close properly. You have to hold the drawer closed in order to open/close the dishwasher.

Unit is in need of upgrade. We appreciate the rental agent's quick service in replacing wash machine and coffee maker. Problems were corrected very quickly by rental agent, (wash Mach and coffee maker).we were pleased with that quick service. We would like to come again for the 6 weeks we normally do but will mbe looking for a better upgraded unit hopefully in the same complex (Shorewood). We will start checking early Sept/Oct to see what is avilable for Feb 1 to Mar 15th next year. If you have any other units available at that time we wouldbe interested in hearing about them. My wife and I stayed in this unit in 2011 and 2012. In 2012 my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter stayed stayed with us. The unit was very nice but had a few problems. The blinds in the master bedroom had slats missing and needed repair. Also, the drawers in the kitchen had to be handled carefully so as not to drop their contents. Also, the air conditioning in the second bedroom was insufficient to cool the room. I believe most of these problems were due to usage over the summer (we came in late summer), but they did not ruin our stay. We had a great time and would stay again.

We booked VERY late for a quick getaway St Patty's weekend. Buddy, along with the rest of the staff at Seashore Vacations were incredible to work with. This was our first ever trip to HH as we typically stay in Tybee and or Savannah. Having dealt with many other travel management companies, it looks like Hilton Head will be our new haunt as working with Buddy and team was a breeze.Everything at the condo we stayed in was within walking distance, the people were friendly, good food and drink, great beach and weather. What else could you ask for... really.

We have stayed in these (Shorwood)units off and on for nearly 10 years. The units are beginning to show age and wear and tear, but you expect that. This unit was about as perfect as it could get. The cleanliness, the view, the location, the amenities all made our visit great. We would not hesitate to stay in this unit again.

I loved the view and the place was clean. My only reservation were the mattresses they made getting a good night sleep difficult.

We rented this at the last minute when our travel plans changed. The location was perfect, on the beach and close to Caligny Circle. The condo looked exactly like the pictures, with a nice interior and good view of the pool, beach, and ocean. The interior
was very clean, other than the carpet, which was dirty and heavily stained. We look forward to staying there again.

Nice play to stay. Love Shorewood. We've stayed here several times in different units. Great location (more convenient than staying in plantations and just as nice) and new pool with zero depth entry is perfect for little children. This condo is a little outdated compared to others with granite coutners, hardwood floors, and other remodle updates, but the price is less so a good compromise.
