Shorewood 234

We love the Shorewood property. Stayed in the same unit twice now. Easy walk to Caligny so I can get a little work done at the coffee shop. Adult kids and one grandchild love the beach - very family oriented. Staff at Seashore vacations super helpful. No complaints - only thing to know is kitchen is pretty small, so if you have lots of "helpers", it can be a little cramped. Balcony is spacious and huge dining table inside for family time, puzzles, card games, etc. Room layouts offer plenty of privacy and room for your luggage. We'll be back.

This was our second year renting this unit and we love it. Will rent again in 2027

One of the things I appreciated the most, even though the kitchen is quite small, the owners have left several cabinets empty for storage of the things we bring with us and purchase. Really like that.

Also, the owners seem to understand that having minimal decorations also helps with the overall enjoyment of the unit, not having to move things out of the way is greatly appreciated. Found closets were pretty much empty and usable because they don't have left over beach items from previous renters. That's been an issue in the past in other units.

A couple of suggestions, the toaster oven needs to be replaced, it's pretty old and not something I would use currently.
The Beds are pretty bouncy/soft especially the king bed in the primary.
Totally understand keeping up with things can be costly for the owners and maybe they are not aware of things that have outlived their lifespan. Couches are getting pretty worn as well, but over all very comfortable unit to stay in for a fabulous family vacation at the beach.

Location! Location! Location! Shorewood at Coligny is convenient to everything you need for a family vacation - grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, parks, etc.! The view from 234 Shorewood's oversized deck overlooking the pool, hot tub and ocean was fantastic! We took advantage of the credit from VayKlife to rent bicycles and beach chairs which were waiting for us when we arrived. And, as always, the customer service from Seashore Vacations was top-notch!

A wonderful property and place to relax and unwind. Easy to reserve and manage with just the right amount of communication along the way. The VayKLife credit for a choice of assorted items/gear was very welcome and appreciated.

We are a family with 4 kids (ages 15,9,3,1). We loved the condo. It was clean and perfectly situated. We had a huge balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean in the distance. The zero entry pool was fun and there was a hot tub and kiddie pool as well. Our direct beach access was perfect. We rented chairs and umbrellas and spent lots of time on the beach.
Shorewood was clean, safe, and well maintained. The location was easy walking distance to Coligny Plaza where we found shopping, coffee, restaurants, bars, and ice cream.
The only issues we had at all were that our sheets were a bit scratchy and we only had 2 plastic cups available in the kitchen. We could have used a few more.
These issues were minor, and overall we loved this place and will definitely return!

Very enjoyable. Our unit, the building, and the grounds are well-maintained and beautiful. Easy beach access and a short walk to the shops etc. at Coligny Plaza. We are coming back in a few months! Some maintenance items you don’t need to include in my review—update the Wi-Fi password on the laminated sheet on the frig, consider replacing the mattress in the master bedroom, and sand the edge for the door in the master bathroom as it is hard to close all the way.

As per usual both Shorewood 234 and Seashore Vacation rose to the occasion. The condo is exactly as advertised and most likely the best view of the complex and ocean! And that balcony!!! Buddy and the Seashore staff are amazing from start to end... also, probably the best! With small children a heated pool is necessary or they all end up in the hot tub where of course they shouldn't be... we were guilty because there was no heat in the pool. Having stayed at Shorewood for over 20 years the advertised "heated" pool is always disappointing, until the end of the month!! Regardless, thanks to the owner and the Seashore team for looking after us!

10/10! Where to begin???
The unit its self was great. We booked the unit for a girls trip with 6 people. Very very spacious. Beds were comfortable. Unit was very clean. We LOVED the large patio and all the seating it provided. The location was great. Close to the pool and beach and a comfortable walking distance to Coligny Plaza. The only thing we didn't like was that you had to go out and around to get to the pool area and walkway to the beach but still not bad! We loved that a service was offered to rent beach equipment and that a credit was provided for it. The overall customer service received from Seashore Vacations was amazing! The booking process was very easy and efficient. The communication following was excellent. All information clearly provided. I plan to book the same unit again with Seashore Vacations.

I don't usually write reviews as a rule. However, this was a fantastic stay! Just about the best place you can stay on the island. The hub of activities is 1 block away. The bike path ends in the driveway. They were just finishing up painting on the building for a nice touch up.

The unit is nice. Could use some updating but overall well worth the location and view right out the center to the ocean. Coffee is a standard pot (not Kurig :))

This unit’s best feature is the spacious ocean facing balcony. The balcony was furnished with tables, chairs, and couch providing ample room for us to spend our down time relaxing there. Short walk to the beach and Coligny Plaza. Great location.

Check in was simple, the place is clean and roomy with easy access to the beach and the pool area. The Coligny circle area allows for walking to all sorts of shops and restaurants. It's our favorite place to come each year.

The rental experience was top notch; picking up the key was easy and the women in the office were friendly and informative. The property was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. The rental company should have informed us that the elevator in our building was out of order. If we had known that we would have stayed somewhere else. It was too difficult for 80+ year olds to navigate. The mattresses all needed to be replaced.

We enjoyed our time at Shorewood 234! The property was as advertised, and we had plenty of space in the unit to sleep, eat and hang out. Although the unit is in the rear of complex/by street, it's still only a 5-minute walk to the pool...and a few extra steps after that to the beach. I would recommend a beach cart for any families that want to carry chairs, umbrellas, etc. Additionally, the location of the unit makes it easy to go out and walk to Coligny Plaza, etc.

The only issues we had were some clean-up items left by the cleaning crew. It had no major impact on our stay, and the property manager acted quickly to have maintenance come up and clean. Aside from this, the pool could use more cleaning/chemicals or something.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Shorewood 234, and would definitely consider returning if we're in the area again in the future!

This was our second time staying at 234 Shorewood. We love the condo and its location. Great views from the extra large balcony. Very well stocked kitchen. Plenty of room (we had 6 guests). Will definitely rent this one again in the future!

Great location, very spacious, great view. Other than having a hard time the dishwasher and the tv remote control not working everything else was great. Could use a little update in the bathroom tub area but it’s minimal. I would definitely stay again.

Overall, the rental was good. Definitely showing some wear but still a good place to rent. The living room furniture was worn and not very comfortable. The pool was closed for maintenance. This would have been good to know before booking our stay as we would have probably picked someplace else. Also, a significant amount of maintenance was being done on the outside of the building during our stay.

It was easy to work with Seashore Vacations for our Christmas holiday! It was a nice unit with everything we needed for our three families. Very clean,though bathrooms were a little dated. It was well stocked throughout. We found the bedrooms and bathrooms were smaller than similarly priced units we've stayed in North Myrtle Beach, but that just be the Hilton Head area. It's lovely, quiet and full of natural beauty, but restaurants and activities are plentiful. Hope to go again!

Check in was very easy. The unit was very comfortable and clean. Kitchen was well stocked except could use more wine glasses. Beds were comfortable. The best part about this unit is the balcony - it's huge with lots of comfortable seating and tables for eating outside. Though it's not an oceanfront unit, you can see and hear the ocean. The unit was pretty quiet except that the garbage truck came at 6am during 2 of the 3 mornings during our stay, which was loud for the people in the non-master bedrooms. We have stayed oceanfront int he past, but I would definitely stay in this unit again. Great location with easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Favorites were Pool Bar Jim's and Chowdaddy's.

The location of the condo is within a short walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The views of the ocean and pool area were amazing. We enjoyed spending time on the large balcony taking in the views and ocean breeze. We would definitely stay here again.

What a fabulous condo. It was spacious and had a great patio and view. My daughter read in previous reviews that the dining table was glass and to bring Windex, wonderful tip. My granddaughter got her own room in the walk-in closet in the back bedroom with her pack nd play.;)

We loved 234 Shorewood! The unit was cleaned early and was spotless! The bedrooms were roomy with walk in closets. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and even included a crock pot. We had 7 people in the rental and we all fit very comfortably. The deck was the shining star though. It was huge with a great view of the beach and ocean! Basically a double deck with plenty of seating and tables. It’s an easy walk or bike ride to Coligny Plaza. We will definitely be renting this unit again!

We had a wonderful stay at 234 Shorewood. The condo was beautiful, well equipped, and in a perfect location for our family of parents and adult children. We were walking and biking distance to shopping, eating, and activities. The balcony was spacious and the perfect place to have coffee and watch the ocean in the morning. We love staying at the Shorewood Condos. This was our first time staying in Unit 234. We really enjoyed the spacious rooms. The view from our balcony was absolutely beautiful! The lush landscaping that blankets the property is welcoming and appealing to guests. Our favorite feature of staying at this condo is the location. We can walk right out to the beach, ride bikes in any direction, walk to Coligny, it is a short walk down the beach to the Tiki Bar during the day or in the evening to listen to live music and have a cool drink. Also, it is a short drive to anywhere on the island, because it is centrally located. The pictures and descriptions that are given- are very accurate.

Nice condo, comfortably furnished, roomy, huge deck - can hear the ocean. They have chairs for the beach, some beach toys too.

Would suggest they upgrade mattress in the master bedroom.

We stayed end of March, quite a bit of noisy maintenance on property going on, including the pool which they closed for a day without any notice.

I just want to mention a few things that would have given this a five star rating:
-floors were not really clean(had to mop the sticky kitchen floor when we got there) and there were remnants of snacks from previous guests on the floor in the sitting area
-the towels were extremely small and ROUGH
-the mini-size washer and dryer were not conducive to six adults staying and needing to wash
-toilet paper roll holder had a spring missing so when you reached for it, the toilet paper fell and rolled across the floor
-some of the bedding had small stains

The unit was great for location and accessibility to the beach and Coligny. Our family enjoyed the space the unit afforded and the cleanliness. The grounds of the complex was outstanding. The only negative was the need for a crock pot. I would definitely recommend the unit and Seashore Vacations to anyone.

This condo is a great location, beautiful view of the ocean, convenient to restaurants and shopping. The pool was clean and great for the kids. I would say the property could have been cleaner upon arrival. It had been cleaned but was definitely used and the bathrooms were cleaned but not super thoroughly. I would stay again.

This location was absolutely perfect. We love the proximity to Coligny for walking down for shopping or ice cream. The heated pool was ideal because early April weather can be chilly.

This was a perfect location with regard to the ocean, amenities and the shopping area of Coligny Plaza. There were six of us, and there was plenty of room to be comfortable. The elevator was a life saver as we were traveling with my 85-year-old mother who uses a walker and wheelchair. The property was well maintained and the pool area was very nice. The beach was absolutely wonderful. The condo itself is a little dated, but very comfortable. The linens could use some updating (towels were worn and thin), and the kitchen could be better stocked (we would love to have cleaned the glass top table after meals, but there were no cleaning supplies available whatsoever). There are plenty of dishes and silverware, and sufficient pots and pans, but no storage containers or things like plastic storage bags, foil, cling wrap, etc. We didn't use the washer/dryer, but it was nice to have. And the balcony was wonderful. We found the condo in relatively clean condition. Not great (found a pair of women's underwear behind the dresser as we were moving out and making sure we didn't leave anything behind), but definitely acceptable. Would just recommend that you stock a few cleaning items for your guests to use (i.e. - window cleaner, sink cleaner, toilet cleaner). All in all, we would rent this unit again.

For safety reasons we do not stock any of our properties with any toxic cleaning supplies as groups with young children are renting these units all the time. On each reservation it states that each unit is supplied with a starter kit, which includes toilet paper, paper towels, soap, dishwasher packets, and laundry soap. We do not provide your personal food containers and foil to wrap up leftovers. Some guests may leave items like this behind but grocery stores are within 1 mile of any of our properties for any items you may need like this.

Shorewood at Hilton Head was a perfect fit for us. With a special needs child everything was convenient, easy access to parking, pool, beach and anything we needed. It was clean, well-maintained, and roomy. We hope to stay again.
