Shorewood 205

Overall, we had a good time. The rental itself is pretty nice. As with most rentals the kitchen supplies like knives that actually cut were not great. There were also a number of utensils with crusted on food, tongs were broken, pans very small, not enough plastic cups. One thing that I always think would be nice is SOME kind of cleaning product to clean counters and tables between meals to avoid bugs. We had to buy cleaners. The unit was FULL of fruit flies, not only in the kitchen but also in the bathrooms and bedrooms. The bathroom floors look a little grungy around the corners and walls, etc. The deck furniture is not very comfortable, it looked like other units had nicer deck furniture. One thing that really stood out to me, though, was the staff at Seashore. They were EXTREMELY responsive to my questions and requests. They were helpful, kind, caring, polite and understanding. We have rented condos in HHI from some of the other big agencies and I would say that Seashore is much better in terms of communication and having more of a personal connection. Our one main issue overall, though, was the lack of beach towels. I understand this may seem like a small thing, but when you are flying, bringing beach towels is really a huge issue. I much prefer the other agencies that provide them. Our luggage was weighed down with towels before we even started packing our clothes. Other than that, I liked this agency. I would also say that this unit felt a little small because I think it is a bit narrow. Also, they do not want umbrellas outside, but it was impossible to store the beach gear in the unit. Overall we made it work and had a great time but I'd probably go for a different unit.

Our stay at Shorewood unit 205 was the best overall experience we have had in 25 years. The unit was clean. The view was unbeatable and the grounds were well kept. This is the first time staying that I did not hear any outside noise while in our unit. The convenience of the elevator was wonderful. Our group has decided that this will be our go to unit from now on when we need a 2 bedroom.

Perfect weather during our stay, lots of great restaurants really close. I loved the decor, not overpowering, just right. I only wish the bathrooms had been larger, a little hard to maneuver. Overall with all the other great things you know that is a minor issue.

Overall, our stay in 205 Shorewood was very enjoyable. This was our third time at Shorewood property, and we continue to love the location. Being just steps from the beach and a short walk to Coligny, as well as having the Tiki Hut at the Beach House resort nearby, makes the area lively and fun. The property grounds are beautifully maintained, the pool is fabulous, and the kitchen renovation was well done. The unit was clean and well cared for, which made for an easy check-in and a great start to our stay.

That said, there are a few things worth noting. The master bedroom mattress was unfortunately quite firm, almost like sleeping on a board, so it wasn't the most restful sleep. Additionally, the patio furniture, where we spent most of our time when in the condo, was uncomfortable.

A unique aspect of this property is its proximity to the Tiki Hut, just two doors down. If you enjoy live music and beach-bar energy, it's perfect, as live music runs most of the day until around 10 p.m. However, if you're hoping for quiet evenings listening to the waves, the live music can carry down to this unit.

Overall, 205 Shorewood is a clean, convenient, and well-kept oceanfront condo in a prime location. With a few comfort updates, it could easily be a five-star stay.

We love Hilton Head and the Shorewood. We love the biking and walking on the paths and the beach both! We had excellent weather for February. Lots of great restaurants within walking or biking distance. We will be back again!

So the condo is very nicely appointed and is very comfortable. Photos do it justice although the "recent" refurb and repaint is starting to show its age a bit as the walls below the 4 foot level are showing quite a few scuffs and dings, some of which might be able to be wiped off but some will need repainting. I suspect a rental unit really takes a toll on the walls with luggage and kids play pens and wagons etc. all hitting and taking the freshness off. Basic kitchen supplies were there but it consisted of ONLY salt and pepper...many other places we've stayed at had a bit more on hand, so just be aware. Beachfront location and the pools are all great. The tiki hut is just a block or so north and at night the music can be heard, so if you wanted to open the windows to hear the surf you may need to endure some hours of music before they shut down for the night.

Great 3 day stay. Love the location, lots of amenities, everything you could need. We unfortunately picked the only time ever that the Tiki Hut was closed to the public for a private event. (We love being able to walk over and enjoy drinks and music). But the weather was perfect and the view kept us entertained

We have stayed at Shorewood many times, and this was the first time at this particular unit. It was very nice, clean and comfortable. It is at a great location, being so close to restaurants. We just ride our bikes everywhere we want to go. Seashore Vacations was great as usual.

The outside grounds and building were well maintained. The unit needs a good cleaning. There was food/ crumbs on and in the cabinets. We did not use the dressers because there was dirt in the drawers. The walls and woodwork had visible dirt. The bathroom ceiling fans are filthy!

We were in HHI for our wedding on 11-11-22. Having been there before, we knew we wanted to have a relaxing visit before and after our wedding and unit 205 delivered. The remodel was beautiful and the attention to detail showed. It was November, so the weather was not the warmest and a tropical storm decided to erupt, but that did not take away from our 10 day visit and the condo was the cherry on top!

What A beautiful condo! It was updated beautifully and was exceptionally clean. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed for cooking our meals. I loved sitting on the balcony in the evenings and watching the ocean! The balcony furniture was perfect as well, just the right height to be able to see over the balcony railing! We were delighted to be right on the ocean - able to sit out and watch dolphin, people, water and sunrises. The accommodations were good. It was a bit inconvenient to not have our walkway to the beach due to repairs. The condo could use a new coffee pot, some spices to cook with, and updates. But overall it was fine and we enjoyed cooking in during the Covid-19 pandemic time. Easy check in/out with the rental office. Keyless entry (codes only) was great.

I loved my stay at Shorewoood 205. The view was magnificent. We spent every morning on the balcony overlooking the ocean. The location was perfect for two teens who spent every evening at Coligny plaza getting ice cream and browsing the shops. The unit was well equipped for cooking. The beds were comfortable although the sofa bed was a bit worn down HOWEVER the management team gave us a new mattress. We were thrilled with their quick and efficient response to our concerns. We will definitely be back tho this little piece of paradise

Great location. We were able to walk to several restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores. The beach views were wonderful. Just a short ride to Bluffton for local artist galleries. Only complaints are the towels were quite thin and scratchy, the bed comforters were stained and there was also a small plastic cup of something (food like) behind a lamp in the bedroom. I would stay here again.

Overall we had a great stay at Shorewood 205. Seashore Vacations makes the process a breeze. We loved the location and layout. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the condo. The floor was absolutely filthy. The furtniture was gross to the point where we didn't sit on the couches without a towel or sheet. Having small children, this was a big negative for us.

This was our second visit to Shorewood 205 and we would recommend it. The location is perfect for the pool or beach areas as well as walking distance to shops and restaurants. Property is spotless and well maintained. Could use 2 more tea towels and 1 more dishwashing powder. Much needed better light and fan in second bedroom (not welcoming for quests). Bathrooms need updating and better lighting. Liked new flooring in bedrooms.

The unit was a little dirty (hair in the bathrooms) and there were not enough towels provided for our family of five to go more than a couple of days without doing laundry, but overall this rental was a good value. Shorewood Villas is in a great location.

This was our first time to Hilton Head Island. We had an amazing time with family and friends. So much to do within walking or bike riding distance. Our condo was awesome, ate breakfast on our balcony and lunch by the pool and went to some of the many restaurants close by for dinner. Enjoyed a sunset cruise, fishing charter, shopping in all the shops, and hop on hop off tour of savannah, Georgia (about an hour away). Shorewood 205 was awesome, clean and lots of storage, with an ocean view and close to the pool -that definitely made our trip! We will be returning to Shorewood 205!

We came with our family and two grandchildren. Everyone enjoyed their stay greatly. We love all the bike trails, the proximity of Coligny Plaza, the pool, and most of all the ocean. From setting on the balcony. Setting on shore to watch the our children and grandchildren play in the water, to the walks by the ocean after dark. This was our fourth stay at 205. We look forward to coming back next year.

The condo was perfect for what we were looking for. It is on the beach with a very nice pool and a short walk or bicycle ride to Coligny Plaza. The condo and furnishings were clean and comfortable, although a little crowded for 6 adults and a baby but perfect for our family. We were a little short on towels but house-keeping responded the following morning with everything requested. We will definitely stay here again next time we want to be near Coligny.

Cook family vacation at Hilton Head. The condo was perfect. We had an ocean view from the kitchen and patio. The condo was nicely furnished and an easy walk to the beach or pool. This property definitely deserves a return visit.
Favorite place to eat: Sea Shack
Bluffton Oyster Factory is the place to get fresh seafood. Short drive and charming town.
Loved the short walk to Coligny Square from the condo.

Condo was in very good condition. It is an older complex but has been updated and is well maintain. Large spacious unit. Small negative was location in proximity to elevator and related noise when people checking in and out. We did see several bugs but the pest control company sprayed while we were there. Shorewood is a terrific waterfront community. The pool is well situated and large enough, the hot tub fine but the ocean views are wonderful.
Inside however, units on the right are bigger and nicer while the units on the left are dinghy, over rented, smaller. Even the elevator is smaller. The unit we stayed in on the left had a kitchen that was missing many essential things like measuring cups, the windows were milky, the shower handle barely turned, once you closed the shower curtain it was pitch dark in the shower. The balcony furniture was old and uncomfortable and wobbly. But the ocean view was terrific even from the second floor.

Thank you for your recent stay with us and for your feedback! Shorewood units are all individually owned and decor and supplies vary per unit based on the owner's personal preference. During this previous winter the owner of 205 made a lot of positive changes.All beds in the unit have been replaced with new ones, all kitchen appliances were upgraded and replaced with stainless steel, the unit was painted throughout, they purchased a new large flat-screen TV in the living room along with some new furniture among other small changes. All building floorplans are the same regardless of left or right spacing, but do vary depending on number of bedrooms and top floor/end unit locations. The entire complex is the same age. We understand that personal taste varies widely among our guests and our owners and hope you will consider returning. We encourage our owners to update decor and supplies as often and possible and relevant and will relay the feedback appropriately. Have a great summer.
