Shorewood 130

We previously stayed at this unit in 6/22. We love Shorewood because of the location to the beach, Coligny and restaurants. Unit 130 doesn't have a great beach view but good price. Beds are little rickety and carpet needs replaced but overall its clean and well stocked. We recommend Shorewood Villas to all our friends.

Hands down best place we have stayed at so far in HHI. So clean with updated appliances, ceramic pans, air fryer, brand new dining set, 4 beach chairs. Great location, super nice pool with private beach access. Spacious condo excellent for a small family. Wish it had a king bed instead of queen for the master but otherwise pretty perfect.

Great location! Unit is very clean and organized. Has everything you need for a great trip. Pool amenities are fantastic. You can walk or ride your bike to everything and anything that you would want to do. We will be back! Five stars all around!!

Our stay was great! Our only complaint is that the bed in the master bedroom was in poor shape. It was uncomfortable and rickety.

This is the 3rd year we had come to Hilton Head, first time within the “southern comfort” room. The condo overall was clean, stocked with what we needed to cook, and allowed space for my husband and I, our 3 kids and my mother in law to stay (granted my 1yr old slept in a pack n play. The area is super close to the beach and shopping. We were able to door dash on nights we stayed on with no problem. We love Shorewood and the ability to be so close to the ocean and have a great pool area for the kiddos.

Unit was clean and nice. However, the beds are tiny. The master bedroom had a best a twin bed. The second bedroom had two tiny singles. More like kids beds than full size. The view is of the parking lot and the next building , not very nice. Kitchen could use some updates, lacks a few basics like a cutting board and sharp knives.

We've been to Shorewood a dozen times it's great for a family vacation. This unit faces the back of the property but it was one our favorites. Clean and stocked!

Went with my wife, 3 kids and one of our friends. The only thing was there are no ceiling fans so boxfans would have been nice. Mattresses need updated but other than that everything was great. Location, pool beach, unit, close to Coligny.

We arrived a little early and our condo was ready shortly after our arrival. That was great, as we had groceries that needed to be refrigerated. Our unit was very clean and well stocked to make meals. I also loved the amenities! The pool was so big! The hot tub was perfect! The location was awesome! We walked to restaurants, shops, and even a park!

The property is well maintained and within walking distance of lots of great restaurants. The private beach is perfect and the price is right. I highly recommend renting this property.

These units are in the perfect place - steps away from the beach and a very short walk to shops & restaurants. The pool is great too.

The unit is pretty dated though, with carpet (at the beach??) and no ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The queen bed was not comfortable, there are no curtains in the rooms (just blinds) so the light from the parking lot pours into both bedrooms. The toilets are rough to flush - you have to push pretty hard for it to go. The master shower is kind of annoying to get in/out of but isn't the worst. We had to use the washer/dryer due to a toddler accident - I was very thankful there was one in the unit. The washer is quite loud though.

The hall bathroom's tub really needs to be cleaned out as it drains terribly slow. And the dishwasher is in dire need of cleaning the filter - it smelled AWFUL. Dishes are 'cleaned' in there....

But the location is great, the grounds are well-maintained, love that there is a garage to park, the unit is spacious, the area is quiet, and the pool is really nice.

Easy check in and out. Very convenient to everywhere on the island. What’s really nice is the mat all the way out to the beach. When pulling a cart it’s the way to go. Room nice with two bathrooms. I had one and my wife had the other one��.

Great experience. Unit was clean, spacious and appliances were stocked. Microwave went out on our 2nd day and Management Co brought us one we could use within the hour. Not a great view off balcony but that was OK.

All in all, the place was very nice. Cleaning crew needs to up it's game - Upon arrival the kitchen counters were gritty. Other than that, all was good

The condo was as clean as a whistle. We had everything we needed there. Loved the location, convenient to Coligny and just steps from the beach and pool. Highly recommend Shorewood for families with littles. The zero entry pool and kiddy pool were big hits with my 4 year olds and 8 month old. The recently remodeled bathrooms were very nice as well. We would stay here again!

Going in I was aware that the view was going to be the parking lot and the side of another building. So if this bothers you you might not want to stay here. But, the pool and access to the beach were fantastic. The real downside and should be corrected to some point was the air conditioning system that was really really loud especially in the second bedroom as it is right next door to that. It sounded similar to a jet with flap downs preparing to land.

Shorewood's location on S. Forest Beach is close to shops, the beach is wonderful and Seashore Vacations staff are helpful, and are quick to fix anything that goes wrong in your unit,I highly reccomend them

Stayed for a short family vacation over fall break. Love the location- close to shops, restaurants, and-of course- the beach! The kids loved the pool, too!
The condo itself was one of the largest we’ve stayed in at HHI making it very comfortable even for a long stay.

We have been vacationing at Shorewood for over ten years now. We have never had a bad experience at this location. We feel it is one of if not the best location on the island for outs convenience to Coligny and Sea Pines. The pool is wonderful and beach access is right there. Unit 130 has a two bedroom layout which is really nice. They have a bump out in the dining/ living area that creates a lot of space for family. The bedrooms are in the back and very quiet. With a few simple upgrades this unit would never be empty. The view after memorial weekend does not allow you to see the ocean or pool. But honestly- during the day at those times your not sitting at your deck- your at one of those places I just mentioned. Would recommend this unit to anyone !!!

We loved staying in Shorewood 130. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is walking distance to Coligny Plaza and a short drive to Sea Pines and Harbour Town.

Great location. The unit could use some updates. Pillows are awful and so are the towels. Would be nice to have a queen or king bed in the master. It would fit if they removed some furniture. Not sure they need 3 dressers for a rental. Also, bar stools are too large to actually use at the bar. We did enjoy our stay. This was our first visit to HHI and are super happy we found this location. If the unit was updated, with a few new items, we would have no problem renting it again. Close to EVERYTHING. Pool, ocean, bike trails, bike rentals, restaurants, shopping.

Property is in a great location, very clean and well maintained. The outdoor pool looks great and would be wonderful for children. The grounds and gardens are lovely. We did notice a mustiness in the unit which might be due to carpeting or to not running AC during winter. We would recommend this property for a vacation stay.

First time on Hilton Head Island and didn't really know where to stay. Selected this unit / location because of the proximity to Coligny Square & Beach. The unit was very nice & very clean. The staff at Seashore were very helpful. We left 2 swimsuits behind and were delighted with the help they provided in finding them and mailing them back to us.

Overall condo was great. Family friendly, worked well for toddlers, they loved toddler pool and being on the ocean. Close enough to coligny park to walk to reataurants and shops. Only significant area for improvement are the showers/tub. Shower head appears old and has very poor water pressure, it was difficult to rinse shampoo from hair- bathtub is too small for an adult. I had to wash my hair in the kitchen sink. That being said, I would happily stay here again- I'll just cross my fingers about a tub/shows update.

The second bedroom window leaked big time during two heavy rain storms. We had to put towels on window ledge to keep carpeting from getting soaked. We reported to the Seashore office nd he said they would check into it.

Overall, we were pleased with our rental. The location was great and Shorewood was nice. The one negative was that the master suite with the TV was set up with two twin beds and the queen bed was set up in the smaller bedroom with no bathroom or TV. That was not at all the arrangement we expected or desired.

Shorewood certainly appears to be the best location and best value for the money on HHI. Shorewood 130 doesn't have the best view, but the overall location and very short walk to the pool and beach are what it's all about. 130 was clean, well-appointed and very comfortable. Highly recommend it. The Seashore Vacations folks were excellent. Great customer service. We'll be back ...
