Tired Condo but Great Location
The overall condition was fair and when we tried to wash the dishes the dishwasher didn’t work and had to be replaced. The TV didn’t work and needed to have Sparklight come out the second day. We had bugs and had to have the exterminator spray the unit. Seashore was very responsive and professional.

Had a great time.
The property worked out well for us, two active adult seniors. Everything we needed was there. Although we didn’t need the lift it is cute for kids. The location is convenient to Harbourtown, the marina, restaurants, golf courses and the beach. We would have preferred flooring to carpeting it worked out fine. The main bedroom matress and pills on it that you could feel through the bottom sheet. Recommend either a pad or new mattress.Anonymous from Gt Barrington - Posted: 11/30/2025

Great Location Mediocre Unit
We have been staying in Sea Pines for 10+ years and the last 3-4 in Raquet Club. We love the location and accessibility to Harbor Town and the Beach Club. This unit was not one of the better rentals we have used. It was very dated and had a very strong musty smell. It has carpet everywhere but in the bathroom & kitchen which may be contributing to the smell. It was also a little “dirty”—not in a gross way but more as a little dusty in areas. The bed was very uncomfortable. The bathroom has been updated and is very nice but overall this place needs some work. We did get to check in early which was very convenient. We did get some added credits for beach accessories which we used for bikes (nice bikes) so that was a nice perk. Overall, it was not a desirable rental but could be with some updates and getting rid of the carpet.Anonymous from Upper Arlington - Posted: 9/28/2025

Not recommending
Unit is nothing like the photos. It's dark and dingy with an odor of mold and mildew. Bathrooms nicely remodeled but the rest of the unit needs updated. Master bedroom mattress lacks support and tvs are very small and badly positioned for viewing. Although property management was wonderful and communicated very well this unit doesn't match it's description.Anonymous from Creve Coeur - Posted: 8/31/2025

Improvements needed
Enjoyed our time there in general. We were there for a month. Remodeled bathroom very nice. Kitchen poorly organized. I cook a good bit when we spend a month. Two 8 ounce skillets and nothing larger. Dust and dirt on window sills and baseboards. Lighting poor enough I bought bulbs to use while we were there and brought them home. At least some of the living room furniture needs replaced. Management company was excellent.Anonymous from Marietta - Posted: 3/31/2025

This is our third time renting this condo. The location is perfect and the condo is comfortable for me and my wife. It is also big enough to have guest over for dinner. We come for golf, pickelball and great food.Anonymous from Columbia - Posted: 4/23/2024

Disappointed
After arriving at the villa we soon discovered how deceiving pictures can be! The place is much smaller than it appeared in the pictures. It had a bad musty smell that hit you as soon as you walked through the door. It had the appearance of being clean but after closer inspection the bathroom was unusable till after a trip to Walmart and a load of cleaning supplies to make us half way comfortable to do so. The place is in need of serious updating, even the rings on the shower curtain are seriously rusted. Very sad for what we paid to have to stay in such a dilapidated place!Anonymous from Mount Clare - Posted: 9/11/2023

Sea Pines is beautiful!
We stayed at Raquet Club which is in Sea Pines resort. The two-story unit was very homey. It had a fun upstairs closet the kids used as a fort and loved it. The pool was quiet and had just the right amount of shade and plenty of sun. Since the pool isn’t connected to the condos, you have to walk a bit. That’s not a big deal at all, but because it’s not connected, bathrooms at the pool are needed. There are two small bathroom stalls which doubles as a changing area. Upon arrival, one of the toilet stalls was literally overflowed with “mess” so only one stall was usable. At one point the second stall also became unusable, but it was quickly resolved with a phone call to Seashore. They called maintenance and someone came out to fix the second stall. The first stall never was fixed so the entire pool area had one stall/changing room to use. That was frustrating.
The accommodations at the condo were great. Everything was in good condition and well stocked with plates, cooking items, etc. The vacuum provided did not work and it would have been nice to vacuum during the stay.
Sea Pines is a beautiful place. With the live oaks hanging over the streets and Spanish moss hanging down, it creates such a cool southern atmosphere. Lawton stables are only a minute away and horses, ponies, and a petting zoo can be enjoyed.Anonymous from Fairlawn - Posted: 7/4/2022

Sweet little beach getaway
We were very pleased with our stay. A trolley comes right to the complex every half hour to take you to Harbor town or the beach. We rented bikes and were in close proximity to so many fun things. We even saw an alligator in the pond behind the rental. The only complaint I have is that the two twin beds are pushed right up against the railings that look over the den from the second story. It felt very unsafe for children but would work great for teenagers or adults.Anonymous from Boiling Springs - Posted: 6/12/2022

I will not be back to this unit.
We will not be back to this condo. The unit smells musty/moldy. There is a buildup of dirt/mold on the cold air return in the living room. We had more than a few **** roaches in the unit. The unit was cold. We measured it to be 66 degrees in the bedroom. The thermostat was set at 72 degrees and was locked from being raised. There was a large black snake on the sidewalk 3 times during our stay. The location was good, but we will try to stay closer to the beach next trip.
I saw an Asian jumping worm on the sidewalk in front of our unit, which I do not blame on the unit. But this is a very invasive species and is a bad sign for the future of the islands soil, plants, and trees.Anonymous from Powell - Posted: 6/28/2021

Racquet Club Villa 2321
The property was exactly as advertised and exactly what we were looking for. Very clean, very well maintained. The property management company was very helpful and quick to respond to needs. I would definitely recommend this villa to others and we are already looking at future dates! Very close to Harbour Town with great restaurants and shops. I think the greatest benefit was the trolley stop was steps away, in the complex parking lot. Loved our time here!Anonymous from Gainesville - Posted: 7/23/2019

First visit to Sea Pines area - loved that we could walk to Harbor Town.
The condo was perfect for our 3 night stay, spacious & having a washer/dryer in unit is great!
Very relaxing on deck - the little lake was nice to have for a view & kept watching for an alligator!
Easy to get around.

Short Visit to Hilton Head

Hilton Head Spring Break
The condo was perfect. VERY clean, great layout, comfortable. I loved all the closet space and the two large bathrooms were ideal. The washing machine sounded like it might be on its last leg, but it worked. Our only complaint, and this can’t be changed, would be that the unit is very close to the main road leading into harbor town. There was a lot of foot and auto traffic right outside the unit. The location was not ideal, but it would not keep me from staying at this unit again. It was just not my favorite thing. Beautiful condo, well maintenanced...would definitely stay again!Anonymous from Indianapolis - Posted: 3/24/2019

Great Hilton Head stay!
Great villa in Sea Pines, just a few steps from Harbor Town. We had everything we needed. Villa was clean and well-stocked. We had a slight problem with the AC, but the rental company was incredibly prompt and helpful, even though it was a Sunday night.
Worth noting - the steps to the loft are a little bit narrow, so just take care. Nothing dangerous at all, just a heads-up. The upstairs mattresses are super-firm, which is great for some, but not for others. The children with us were oblivious and slept like logs, but an adult might notice.
These are NOT complaints, just observations. This is a perfect villa, an incredible value, and made for an ideal vacation! We'll be back!Anonymous from Gray Court - Posted: 6/8/2018

The location and overall condition of the condo was great. It worked perfectly for our family, but could use some updating.Anonymous from Rochester - Posted: 4/9/2018

Great stay in HH
Had a great time here. The location is ideal, we had an easy time getting anywhere and loved all the walking paths. The rental was very clean, very comfortable. I thought the master bed was a little firm but that may just be my opinion. My wife thought it was great. Overall a great place to stay, we would definitely stay here again.Anonymous from London - Posted: 2/16/2018

Lovely Condo
We took our 14 yr old boy and this was a perfect condo for him. Loft with own bathroom... 2 twin beds. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Very easy bike ride to Harbor Town.Anonymous from Columbia - Posted: 1/3/2018

Racquet Club 2321
Lovely condominium. Very comfortable and included everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. The only issue was with the bed in the master suite - (seemed old, lack of support and noisy). Everything else was great.

Perfect fit
We found the rental just the right size for the two of us, on the second floor which kept the noise down, and very clean. The only problem we had was getting the living room TV on. It was a puzzle. We had to call for help and the young man came right over on a Sunday. Also, we had no AC upon arrival, but then again, service was prompt. Over all it was a great location with walking distance to Harbor Town and a bike trail very handy.Anonymous from Knoxville - Posted: 9/25/2017

Great Experience
We are longtime visitors to HHI and Sea Pines. Usually, we have our extended family with us and thus we rent a larger unit or units. On this trip, it was just my wife, me and for part of the week, my wife's brother. We rented this nicely appointed and designed condominium from 09/04/2016-09/11/2016. It was clean and very conveniently located. It is a nicely sized unit for 2 adults or 2 adults and maybe 1 teen or pre-teen. For 3 adults, it is a little small, though not uncomfortable. There were only 2 issues related to this rental: (1)The stairway to this upstairs unit needs repair; and (2) The trash area for Racquet Club Villas was unkempt. These issues would not prevent us from renting this unit again.Anonymous from Lynchburg - Posted: 9/13/2016

Great location, great value
I have stayed in Sea Pines many times with large groups (15+) in several large homes on the island. This was my first trip with a smaller group (2 kids & 2 adults). The villa was very clean and had everything that we needed and the location was wonderful...the bike path is right across the street and the Beach Club, South Beach, Lawton Stables, and Harbor Town are all easy bike rides, even for my 8 year old. Recommend!Anonymous from Dayton - Posted: 8/3/2016

Loved this villa! Great location and views
This is a great villa! It's described as "cozy" but the property felt plenty large enough for the four of us. It's listed as a 1 bedroom, but the upstairs loft with a full bathroom and two single beds functioned just fine as a second "bedroom" for our boys (ages 9 and 12). Location is great too. Super close to Harbor Town (including my wife's favorite coffee shop, the Harbor Town Bakery). Found everything we needed in the kitchen and enjoyed the full size washer and dryer (not always common in villa rentals). An unexpected benefit was the great natural view from the back deck - the best we've ever had in our many many trips to HHI. This is a great property and I highly recommend it. Property management was very friendly and responsive. Villa was clean and tastefully decorated. Highly recommend this property, especially for the location and price! By the way, Sea Pines is the best location on HHI. Highly recommend renting bikes as there are miles of beautiful paved bike paths in the area. The beach club (beach access) is also super. Don't miss the Sea Shack for amazing seafood and Giuseppi's Pizza, just down the road from this villa, for amazing pizza.Anonymous from Lilburn - Posted: 7/11/2016

Our rental experience was great. We booked our stay only 3 days before our arrival and everything went very smoothly.Anonymous from Harrison City - Posted: 4/30/2016
