Ocean One 521

We loved the location. Despite being near the public beach access, the beach wasn't overly crowded. The limited number of condos made for a good experience at the pool where we could always find a place to sit and the pool felt uncrowded. parking was plentiful and easy as well. Our unit was nice but could stand a good cleaning, new couch, some area rugs and new sheets for the beds not to mention some lightbulbs being burned out of old lights.

Fantastic location and lovely rental. LOVED the fact that it was all hard wood floors and tile. The kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes and silverware one would need. Beautiful views of the ocean. A real gem!

We loved everything about our stay except the constant music from the tiki bar next door. We were looking forward to calm and relaxing evenings on the balcony but had to wait until 10pm for the bands to stop. Every night seems too much.

Ocean one is the best location for us, we love the pool and the ease of access to the beach! Walking to Coligny is always a treat also! Our condo was 521 and it was spotless, has any and everything we needed! May be time for an upgrade on couch though! Will be back and will rent this unit!!

The Condo was very nice, the management was wife and I were not well pleased with the extremely loud music coming from the hotel next door. From 12 noon to 10 PM. We had to keep our sliding door to the balcony closed and we would of liked to sit on the balcony. We asked them to turn the music down, but they did not.
The bar scene and loud music ruled. Sorry.

This is a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit with a great view of the ocean and the pool. We loved the location. It was close to restaurants and shopping. We met so many really nice people staying there or living there. We stayed in October so it wasn’t so busy but the weather was beautiful. The condo was well maintained. We had quick responses from the management company as well. Loved it.

Great unit, well equipped with everything needed for the week, beautiful ocean view and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Everything worked well, beds were comfortable, bathrooms a little in the small side but we made it work. I’m kind of a clean freak so I feel like rentals are never clean enough for me but in general it was okay. Bathrooms and surfaces were clean. The building staff was super friendly and the grounds were well maintained. The pool ended up closing the last two days for repairs which was a bummer but they were working hard to get it fixed. Overall, I will stay on this unit again.

My vacation rental experience was phenomenal. As soon as we walked into the unit we were speechless on how breathe taking the unit and the view of the beach/ocean was. The kitchen had everything we needed to make great meals for the days we were there, the unit was very clean, and the atmosphere was inviting. I'm already planning another trip and seashore vacation will most definitely have my business again.

The place couldn't have been in a better location, right on the beach with a perfect balcony to enjoy the sunrise and listen to the crashing waves throughout the day. The short walk to the private entry onto the beach was easy and comfortable, and the access to locations around the property, Coligny Park, Sea Pines and others is an easy walk, bike ride, or drive.

Well appointed updated condominium with an excellent view!! Kitchen was very well stocked. Master bedroom was roomy with very comfortable mattress. The view from the 5th floor was spectacular! Would stay in this condo again. Highly recommend!

We loved the spot but unfortunately the unit had a few problems, the clothes dryer being the most!! The dryer was loud and the last few days did not work at all, the drain in the main bathroom shower was clog when we arrived and we called to get it fixed it was fixed but the gentleman left a mess that we had to clean up after him!

We have stayed at many different locations in Hilton Head over the years and this unit certainly did not disappoint. We had 4 adults and 2 small children and had more than enough room in this unit. Right when you enter you can tell that it is very spacious and laid out beautifully. This is very well kept and has gorgeous view of the ocean. You are a mere 1-2 minute walk to Coligny which is very convenient. I would certainly recommend this unit and may end up staying again in the future.

Beautiful newly renovated condo Everything was perfect, could sit on the patio and listen to live music from the hotel next door. Couldn’t have been happier. Traveled with elderly mother, has elevator and nice luggage carts to help get everything into the room. This is a must if looking for a family condo. Great kitchen, where we cooked Thanksgiving lunch. Will be back again for sure.

We arrived on Hilton Head to our scheduled “5 StarVilla”only to find the most disgusting place ever. We called and told them we couldn’t stay there because of the numerous issues, not at all what the description depicted. We left and stayed in a Hampton for the night (Labor Day weekend). We looked the next morning and found a lovely lady named Lynn who arranged for us to move into a beautiful Villa at Ocean 1 on Coligney Beach. This villa was not only beautiful, but Clean!! The accommodations were perfect!! The location was on the ocean side with a beautiful view The price was exactly what we had paid for the 1st place. We would highly recommend Seashore Vacations ��

We had a bumpy start to our vacation this year being in an accident on I-95 about an hour before we would get to HHI. Fortunately, everyone was OK and cars can be fixed. We still had a wonderful family vacation at Ocean One! Seashore Vacations is always wonderful and easy to work with. We love unit 521. It is clear the owners take pride in their vacation home. It has been 2 years since we were here, but all of the new remodeling was beautiful. Love the new kitchen. 521 is clean, bright and spacious. The view is always beautiful. We will most definitely be back again! Thank you Seashore and 521 owners for another wonderful family vacation!!

Late spring long weekend away before the summer crowds hit. Unit well appointed and recently remodeled. A quick walk to Coligny Circle for shops and restaurants. My only complaint would be too many smokers in the pool area.

The property description is very accurate. The view from the balcony is exactly what the pictures show. Enjoyed our coffee each morning on the balcony overlooking the beach. We were very, very happy with the layout of the condo. Especially liked that each bedroom had their own bathroom. The kitchen looks like it was just recently remodeled, nicely done! (Loved the granite counter tops) The condo was very clean and property is well maintained. Would definitely rent this condo again!!

Great location. We have been staying at Ocean One for over 20 years. We've stayed in much more updated units.
This unit was a great Ocean front, but definitely needs a kitchen update. It was older and not well equipped. Also the second bedroom was very dark and needed updating.
Still a great week and we love working with Sea Shore Vacations.

Our family loves Ocean One. We love working with Seashore Vacations. We have been coming to Ocean One for over 15 years. We have originally always stayed in condo 521. We have not in a few years. It is clean & accomodates our family. I just wish they would update alittle. Kitchen is older. Still uses keys for room when a keyless entry could be installed. And it costs the sam was some of the newer updated condos.
It also seems that the pool closes atleast a day or more every time we are here for whatever reason. In 2017, you would think the pool would have a stronger pump system to deal with pool issues in a timely manner.

The condo had everything one would was well described by the manager.The view is wonderful of the ocean.Even after the hurricane Ocean One's grounds were manicured to perfection.Our group went there for tennis, shopping and eating. Tennis was great at Shipyard courts.Seashore Vacation Rentals are the best!

We always come to HHI for our beach vacation. We started renting at Ocean One in the late 80's, switched to staying in houses with extended family for 10 years, and came back to Ocean One this year with just the four of us. We had a really nice vaca here. The property is just as pretty as ever, and the location is fantastic (oceanfront and a 5 minute walk to Coligny). Ocean One 521 is clean, neat, spacious, comfortable, and the view is great! The owners are doing a nice job with maintenance and updates. The master bath is very nice! Seashore Vacations is a very classy rental company. Always there to help if you need it! We hope to return to this villa again soon!

overall our stay was good. The unit had an unpleasant odor which we tried to correct with fabreeze and other sprays but it didn't really solve the problem. But we would stay there again if there is nothing else available in Feb.

Positives: Amazing view, peaceful escape, quick walk to the beach, gated for privacy, courteous staff.

Not-so-positives: Villa definitely needs updating (particularly apparent because we had friends staying in another villa down the hall on the 4th floor and their villa was gorgeous and modern). The kitchen really needs some work along with some fresh paint throughout the unit. Keyless entry, in lieu of keys, would be a plus.

Also, curious to know if anyone else has experienced seeing/hearing "unusual activity" in the villa. Our laptop turned on by itself in the middle of the night and started playing a video, an adult heard My Little Pony being sung in the kitchen when no one else was around, another adult saw a child's figure in a bedroom, separate adult reported seeing a child's figure in the villa. Is this place haunted? It was a little spooky.

My family and I have been staying at Ocean One for approx. 18 years. This was the first time to stay in this unit. It was a very nice unit. The owner has remodeled/re-decorated most of it. The kitchen hasn't been updated, but it is still very nice with everything you would ever need for cooking. The ocean view each daily is beautiful. Ocean One is next to the Tiki Bar and within very close walking distance to Coligny Plaza. We walk and take bikes most everywhere.
