We had a great time at 422 ocean one. Convenient location. Condo with all the necessities. Would suggest more cleaning of the bathrooms, fans in bathrooms need replacing too (to improve ventilation overall.

I'm sure the owners are grandparents who absolutely love this place so I do not want to yuck their yum. The unit is extremely tired, out dated, and in some ways just straight up ghetto. Not our cup of tea.

The apartment was adequate. It was nicely decorated with decent furniture. The bathrooms were small except for the room with the twin beds that weirdly had the walk in shower. Loved the openness of the kitchen into the living area. We had a leak from the garbage disposal that was promptly replaced. A previous tenant had placed a bowl under it that overflowed. The balcony is a nice size but the furniture was uncomfortable. It looked freshly painted in nice beachy colors. Love Ocean One location and the fact they are constantly improving and cleaning. Great people work there.I would say the cleaners could pay a little attention to the top rim of the showers and the corners.

We had a great time. Location was excellent. Unit was spacious and deck was nice. There are some areas that need updating. Appliances need some work. Remodeled bathroom was very nice. Family room furniture and kitchen table were spacious and comfy. We would stay again.

Parents owned this condo for many years before current owners so excited to stay again as it holds many great memories!! Love all of Ocean Ones updates to the complex. Doors and elevators look great! Condo itself still looks very nice! Love how open it is! Only reco is new twin beds in back bedroom! Love the location. Overall great stay!!!

We had a wonderful time at Ocean One. We rented bikes and beach chairs. Very convenient. Our chairs were waiting in the room when we arrived. Overall the Condo needs some updates in the bathrooms and the mattress in the main bedroom needs replaced.
The main seating area was very nice!

We had a pleasant stay and found the accommodations to be clean, however, upgrades to the condo would be advisable considering the associated cost. Specifically, the master bathroom requires improvement and we initially encountered difficulties with achieving hot water for the master shower. Although our overall experience was satisfactory, enhancements are recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at 422. It was clean, mostly updated and enjoyed the size of the condo. The bathroom in the King bedroom needs updated, but other than that we really enjoyed staying there. It was the first time staying on the street side.

Great location with beautiful beach and pool access only steps away. Very walkable to Cologne Circle which had lots of great shops and restaurants. Condo was clean and spacious and had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at Ocean One. It is conveniently located to a lot and walking distance to restaurants, shops, and even a grocery store. You walk out and you are at the pool and beach which is the biggest bonus!
They came and replaced the DVD player immediately when it didn't work. The only drawback was the bedroom with two full beds was rather warm, especially at night and we weren't able to turn the air down lower than 68. Otherwise, everything was great!

The condo was well maintained and roomy. Though there were only four of us, we could have easily had eight people there. Felt veery much at home and the location was great! Only room for improvement was in the common area walkways where there wer a few large "holes" and broken tiles in the outer hallway flooring.

About the actual property. Just wished the bathrooms were somewhat updated. Shower drains back up with every shower and no water pressure what so ever.

The condo location is very convenient for everything. The unit itself is spacious enough for our group of 6 to never feel on top of each other. There are 3 things the owners could focus on that would make it better: 1)new mattresses, they were so worn out, 2)new couch, also incredibly worn out, 3)scrub down of walls and cabinets. We spent a lot of the middle of the day inside with COVID and the beach/pool getting crowded. It seemed people from outside the condo complex were coming in and using the pool saying they were guests of people staying there. It was very hard to find a time when there weren't several massive groups around the pool drinking and partying. The great thing about this unit is it faces into the trees on the back side of the building so you don't hear any of the partying going on in the front. It's also down the way from the elevator and stairs so it stays pretty quiet. We sat out on the balcony on several occasions listening to the cicadas and tree frogs, it was beautiful.

I also was surprised the pool area didn't open until 10am. With little kids that was a disappointment when the sand or waves were too much. At check-in we had a note stating that someone would be coming to replace our dishwasher in a couple days but it was still functional. The workers were on time and did their job quickly. There was also a short in a wire to the thermostat and the AC stopped working towards the end of our stay. After calling the office, someone was out within an hour and had the issue fixed 30 minutes later. Great responsiveness from the team.
There is a nice walkway going from the pool out to the beach and then a metal/plastic runner going through the sand the last bit of the way that shortened the time walking on the scorching sand.

We have stayed at ocean one for the past 29 years. Needed a larger room. Great place, great layout. Could use a refresh of paint and deep cleaning. The ice maker didn't work all week. But other than that, a great place to stay.

The condo was lovely, we love this location and management staff was responsive. It was a great value.
I thought I had replied previously, but perhaps just sent it to the management company. The refrigerator had a broken shelf which they needed to order a part for so it wasn’t replaced when we were there. Not a big problem once we cleaned up the mess it made initially. We had to buy a can opener because the one that was there didn’t work and the TV system needs better directions. The sound cap only works erratically, and we could not figure out why or discern a pattern.
Despite these minor annoyances The six of us had a wonderful time, and hope to be able to return next year

The unit was great for our family of 8 adults and 1 two yr old. On the plus side it is a fantastic location on Hilton Head. The unit, with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths is big enough for a crowd. The management company brought us more towels very quickly when I let them know we were short. Ocean One has friendly people working there and is a short walk to beach or pool. In the unit itself there are a few things that could be fixed, a dripping fridge (we did alert the property management co. about this) and unusable drawer, loud agitator in the washing machine, the dishwasher seems to be victim of a bad install. The kitchen was not as fully equipped as I'd have liked, it was hard to find lids that match the pots and pans there. Even with those "problems" we had a wonderful week.

We loved the condo! We loved having all the space! Plenty of room to eat dinner and enjoy family time. The bedrooms and attached bathrooms are the best! That made getting ready after a beach day super easy! Nobody had to wait for the shower. Very nice place. Loved being so close to pool and beach! We would definitely stay here again!

We loved the location of Ocean One 422. It was perfect for us and our six children. Everyone had plenty of room to sleep and hang out together in the kitchen/family room. It was clean, but everything is older and worn. It needs many updates (i.e. showers, paint, bedding, kitchen faucet etc). The pool and the grassy areas of the complex were very well maintained.
We loved that the pool was just down the steps on the way to the boardwalk to the beach, the walk was easy to shop and eat in Coligny, the walking/biking paths were accessible just across the street.
Even though we arrived after the offices closed, it was easy pick up of the info and code to the condo.

The condo was very clean and we had plenty of room for our family.loved that each bedroom had it’s own bathroom. Loved the proximity to the beach and pool. Just ride the elevator down and your at the pool. Will definatly stay here again.

Ocean one is a great place to stay. Ocean and pool just steps away. Unit 422 was perfect for 5 adults and 2 children. Unit I was clean. Only issues was staying connecte to WiFi. Called cable company and still had issues on and off. Two bedrooms television's did not work called cable company one had no cable box and the other remote could not change input. Highly recommend. We have stayed at ocean one at least 6 times (first time in this unit) would stay in this unit again

We enjoyed a wonderful week at the condo with our son and his wife and grandkids. The unit is beautiful, the kitchen is well equipped, and we enjoyed using the outdoor grills this time. Love the beach, biking, and close access to Coligny.

We have been coming to Ocean 1 for several years. Love the complex, Security is top notch and makes it really safe for my family. Excellent beach and pool access. Past 2 years however we have had some pretty undesirable bugs in the unit, looking at the last spray date it was months ago. We did have an issue with broken glass in the unit and on patio as well as down by the pool, security promptly cleaned up glass at pool and monitored people with glass bottles. In the unit however i had stepped in glass in a few different spots which i was very unhappy about. Other than that the location, the complex, and close proximity to coligny plaza makes your stay very enjoyable.

We rented this condo with several friends for a wedding. So nice! Loved the balcony and the kitchen was great. Had just about everything we needed. Nice sized condo.

Very nice layout and spacious 3 bedroom condo. This is our 3rd stay in this unit. Some minor upgrades to furnishing have been made, but fresh paint would enhance the decor. I don't believe it has not been repainted for several years. The kitchen is furnished
very well and the appliances served our needs adequately. Only one dish towel was available for use, therefore we would recommend two or three towels be made available. The twin mattress in one beroom were a little soft and did create a some back discomfort
for some family members. The masterbed room closet doors need to be replaced as they do not close very well. All and all it's a great place right on the beach to have a great family vacation. We realize it difficult to keep new furnishing looking great with
many different people renting the place, but the single club chair by the sliding door is ready for retirement. Please take our comments as constructive because I would rent this place anytime and recommend it to my friends. Also thanks for the trust in letting
us utilize all the amenities that you offer in the owners unit. Sincerely, The Ruppert Family
