Positives: Clean and ready on time. SHARP knives!Terrific deck furniture - bistro height (you can see over the railing!) adirondack style seating - 2 were gliders! Beautiful view from balcony, can see family in the pool and dolphins in the sea. Close to elevator. Rapid response to broken lamp. Always courteous staff. Vayklife credits for bikes / chairs convenient.The stuff is there when you arrive. Entire property was updated last year, painted exterior, railing, think there was a salt water pool conversion.
Negatives: master bed too soft - a bilateral hammock - my reason for 4 star rating on furniture. Very dim lighting - need more light over kitchen counter / breakfast bar. Weird acrylic dining chairs make your seat sweaty. Glass table corners not good for little kids. Ceiling fan in master bath does not work.

Location was perfect, super clean building and so safe! The staff was friendly and the ground crew does an amazing job. The unit 307 had the best view! If you changed from twins to full or queens.. it would be way more comfortable for adults. The living room furniture could be or should be cleaned, updated, or get furniture covers. The shower was the best!! The deck is where we enjoyed the beach view!

The condo was great--very clean upon arrival, everything was in working order, no unpleasant issues. The pool was sparkling clean. It has a very nice bonfire setup, great grills, absolutely beautiful view. The only drawback (and it's not this property's problem) is the hotel (?) next door has a pavilion that has live music almost every night from 5-10pm. If you're looking for a quiet evening on the balcony, that's not going to happen. But if that's your jam, it's a free ticket! Would recommend this property and will definitely return.

The location is why you come. The room was very run down and old. The linens were torn and cheap, the beds were hard, miniature for even a small child and not comfortable. The living furniture was so aged it appeared dirty

This unit was nice for the short stay we were there. It was very clean and the location was great. Direct oceanfront and the view was great! Close to Coligny, shopping, and restaurants. There was construction going on next door which was a little annoying with noise. The unit itself needs updating in every way. The couch is brand new but not comfortable at all. This unit is nice for a couple of adults and no more than 2 small children as the furniture in living area is worn out other than small sofa. It was clean so that made it easier to look past the outdated everything. It definitely needs some TLC as the walls (and bathroom door) had areas of paint being torn off and never repaired or repainted. I would not recommend to a friend unless all they cared about was the view.

The view and the location were perfect

Could not usr balcony due to construction
Construction noise from 8 to 5 every day we should of been notified of the construction and the obstacles before arriving, we could’ve rebooked another place
Balcony furniture had to stay in apartment, which was a nuisance
The construction noise coming from our balcony from 8 to 5 every day was so noisy we could not enjoy the condo during the day

Great location, but the unit has very old furniture, twin beds were uncomfortable and very squeaky. The coffee pot is broken, and there are no decent wine glasses. We didn't use the appliances, bathrooms are very dated.

Needs painting. Furniture needs replacing. Ceiling in 2nd shower needs repair, 1st shower needs a new head (present one does not adjust). Only 1 hair dryer. No blender or alarm clock. Just looks like it hasn't been updated in 20 years. View from balcony is great. Art work is nice. Plenty of books and games.

Ocean One 307 provides perfect views of the ocean and pool area and is next door to the Tiki Hut. The unit is very nice and quite comfortable. The only minor improvements suggested are to repair the water flow in the primary bedroom bath and to replace the fry pans/skillets in the kitchen. We would definitely rent this unit again.

My daughters and I take a ‘girls vacation’ annually and chose HHI as our destination this year. We really lucked out with Ocean One and Seashore Vacations! Our unit was perfect and the facility location was crazy convenient to shopping, dining, and coffee :) We even enjoyed live music nightly from our balcony!
Our only negative was no basics in the kitchen, salt, pepper, etc. Everything else perfect!! Beach chairs, umbrella, sand bucket. Thank you!

The condo was nicely cleaned, and we were pleased with the attention to towels, starter supplies (toilet paper, etc). It could use some updating, though. The only real issue was that we were right next door to a resort with a tiki bar where they had loud, live music most of the afternoon and evening, every day. The band did pack up at 10:00 each night, but on Sunday afternoon, they were so loud that we couldn't sit on our deck and hear each other speak.

The location is 5 star. The unit is dated. The unit could have been cleaner especially the bedroom carpets. I highly recommend duvet covers for the bed as the bedspread was not clean. The management company is very attentive. Easy to work with. The unit only had 4 hangers they immediately set over a package.

The owners did some upgrades regarding the appliances but the kitchen sink and master-bath faucets needed repair work. The bedrooms carpeting needed to be cleaned. The balcony furniture was upgraded. The second bathroom needs work.

Enjoyed our stay in Ocean One 307. Rental company allowed early check-in since the condo was clean and ready (check the calendar). Might've been nice not to have to drive to rental company since they provide a key code...could've been done via email...but not a big deal since it's nearby. Condo was a little dated, but overall very clean and tidy. Kitchen was well-appointed though we only ate in for breakfast (cereal) and lunch (meat and cheese wraps). Rooms were nice size. Each room had a private bathroom. Again, dated but clean. View from balconies was great and overlooked both the pool and the beach. Not noisy. Never had a long wait for the elevator. Had direct boardwalk to beach. A very short walk from the beachfront (or via the road) to Coligny Plaza, which is good and bad. Good because it's easy to get to, but bad (particularly on weekends) because it makes that area of the beach much more crowded. We rented chairs/umbrella and were disappointed that the company renting them wouldn't put them in front of Ocean One..."what we put out is what you get"....though we noticed others there after the first day?? Odd. Would recommend heading right once you get to the beach to avoid the worst crowds, but either way the beach is very large and wide. After 4pm on a Saturday brings in some sketchier local crowds, but otherwise a very family-friendly location.

My family of 3 stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. It was the perfect location to Coligny Plaza and the beach. We were able to hear a live band from the balcony since they were playing in the evenings a couple propertys away. I would stay here again!

We always enjoy staying at Ocean One. Unit 307 could use a handyman to check it over. The faucet in the kitchen could be replaced and the faucet in the 2nd bath does not turn off easily. During the week June 16-23 There was no internet access also
the TV's were not always operable. Twin bed mattress covers and sheets did not fit. resulting in "wadding" during sleep overnight. Nothing major.

We just returned from vacationing at Hilton Head. We were so lucky to stay in Unit 307 at Ocean One. the condo was furnished beautifully and had everything we needed. It is a short walk across the private walkway to the ocean beach and backyard access to the pool. From the balcony we could sit and watch the waves come in and look down on the pool and grass area. There were even three clean and well kept gas grills for guests to use. Truly a wonderful experience. Will be back next year!

The only area of improvement for unit 307 is to replace furniture on balcony. A couple of the chairs had straps broken and were not able to be used.

The owners did a nice job on the master bath with a new shower,fresh paint,and the carpet seemed cleaner compared to our last stay.
We would like to see the owners improve on the balcony furniture specifically the chase lounge. The webbing was so bad we could not use it at all. My wife and I enjoy sitting on the balcony looking at the ocean and the piece of furniture should be repaid or removed.

This unit is perfectly located, close to restaraunts, shops and the beach! Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very polite attendant at the parking lot entry gate who pointed us in the right direction to #307. We found the unit to be quite clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a great vacation escape. The view from the private balcony is excellent, and the unit is exactly as described. I highly recommend this rental.

Our condo was 3rd floor ocean side. The view is great. The price is high. The 2nd BR is dark. The unit has books and puzzles. Many folks breaking rules, esp bike in rooms via stairs and elevators.

We had all the comforts of home, including a washer & dryer, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, full size refrigerator & stove; & it was wired for the Internet. It was very tastefully decorated. Room was very nice with ocean view. Cleaning could have been somewhat better before we arrived. Mirror's had not been cleaned, hair ball's on rug in living room floor, so vacuum didn't occur or work properly. However, the room location and view of ocean made up for lack of proper cleaning.

We stayed at a wonderful condo at Ocean One recently. The view was spectacular! Overlooking the pool and the ocean, we could actually see dolphins playing in the surf from our balcony! The condo was well equipped with a nice kitchen, a beautiful master with a balcony and a nice bedroom for my daughter. We would request this same unit again!

The property at Ocean One 307 in Hilton Head was very nice. The master bedroom and living areas had updated furniture. The second bedroom did not, but it was OK. There was not a battery in the smoke detector when I arrived. Upon asking the rental company to take care of this, they did within 24 hours.

Since our last stay at this same unit the owners upgraded the living room furniture,t.v.,and master bed room mattress. All of what we mentioned in our last review as needed improvements. Now change the carpeting in both bedrooms and the unit will match the great location that Ocean One condos offer.

Now, the elevator needs to be serviced and find a matching tile for the missing one in front of the elevator door. Tacky looking.

This is a lovely condo in an upscale, well maintained building, in the perfect location on the island. Right on the beach and walking distance to everything you need. We can't wait to go back. The management company was easy and pleasant to deal with. Everything was perfect!

My family rented two condos for a long weekend birthday celebration. We could not have been more pleased with the accomodations. Close to everything you could want or need, grocery store, restaurants, shops, walking, bike riding, movie theater, not to mention the BEACH! The only complaint, I could not see the sunrise on the horizon...palm trees blocking my view:)...I was too lazy (content) to get up and actually walk down to the beach:) I will recommend to anyone who is looking for a convenient and great location. BTW this condo (203) was very clean and updated. All bedrooms were private with their own baths. Good for some quiet time if wanted.

Ocean One is an excellent location for renting multiple units for larger groups. The palm trees are pruned periodically and is under the supervision of the Town of Hilton Head. The ground floor units offer easier access to the pool and beach while the upper floor units tend to have a better view.

Seashore vacations again helped us find a perfect location to stay on HHI. Ocean One's location is ideal. In walking distance to everything you may need...dining, shopping, bike rentals, and of course beach. Very family friendly atmosphere. Can't wait to come back!!

beautiful view of the ocean
spacious, quiet and very clean quarters
