This 3 bedroom oceanfront condo sleeps 8 people comfortably with a king bed in the master bedroom, queen bed in bedroom 2 and two doubles in bedroom 3. Each bedroom has a full-sized private bath. With decks off the living room and master bedroom, guests staying in Ocean One 211 enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and its white sandy beaches. After hours in the surf, vacationers rinse under the outdoor shower located on the complex's private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool. Ocean One is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Ocean One has added a brand new grilling area to the complex just beyond the pool. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Ocean One is one block from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. Ocean One 211 is not updated as other units at Ocean One. The cost per week reflects the adjustment from other updated units at Ocean One.

Vacation 2026

The property of the location is amazing! Right next to the beach, great pool and everything was nice and clean. The condo itself was not quite as desirable. The location of it was nice(overlooking the pool) but there were many things that needed attention in the condo. The cabinets in all the bathrooms and kitchen were extremely dated and looked like they had extreme water damage. The wood was separating and chipped. There were a few other small things as well but nothing major. The unit was clean and had a great layout. With some updating this could be a really nice condo. I will definitely stay at this property again just not in this particular unit.

The Condominium complex is very nice

The location and view was highly desirable. The rooms were clean but as others have mentioned before it is dated. Everything functioned as expected. We have stayed at Ocean One in other units over the years and the complex is still beautiful.

Family Vacation

Hilton Head is a very special place for my family. The view from unit 211 is spectacular. I do have to agree that this condo is in desperate need of updating, especially the bathrooms.
The grounds of Ocean 1 and the pool are very well taken care of, very clean.
My family and I had a wonderful and very memorable vacation, we would rent through Seashore Vacations again. However, we would probably rent a updated condo.

Unit 211w

It was disappointing the condo needs total renovation. There was no ventilation in the bathrooms and the cabinets were not usable to store items. The cabinets were water damaged and got sawdust on the towels. There were extra pillows but no pillowcases. The microwave broke and took a day to replace it. One of the hairdryers broke also. No chairs on the master bedroom to sit out on the deck. The only saving grace was the view from the main balcony and fast access to the beach.

My stay at Ocean One 211

I love Ocean one. Although 211 can definitely use up grades and a thorough cleaning. There was a drying mat on the counter that needed cleaning and few pieces of debris on the bathroom floor under the counter. The carpet and couches need cleaning they have an odor. Also the residents allow their dogs to poop on the property and it smells horrible.

Great Location!

This property has so much potential — the grounds are beautiful, and the location can’t be beat. However, the condo interior felt dated and could use better upkeep and cleaning. It didn’t take away from how much we loved the area, but a few updates would really elevate the stay.

I deserve a refund on the cleaning fee

Location was great and we had lots of space, but there are some health/safety issues that need to be addressed.

We found dirty dishes/pots/pans in the cabinets, and I don’t mean dishes that had been poorly cleaned—there were pans with bacon grease/remnants, a colander and pot with oil and dried pasta, a coffee mug with coffee in the bottom. We had to clean dishes before using them.

I had to turn over a couple of the rooms mid-stay for guests. I found yellow/brown spots on all the pillows, mattresses and mattress covers. The pillow shams were discolored (like they had been repeatedly used and never cleaned). While I can forgive a stain here and there on a mattress (mattresses are expensive to replace), I expect a clean liner and bedding.

I never felt comfortable sitting on the couches without covering them with a blanket or towel; they looked and felt dingy.

The cabinets were all disintegrating—they were builder-grade particle board that should have never been installed in a beach front condo. The material was swelling at every end or joint and the finish was delaminating in more places than could be overlooked.

Plumbing fixtures were loose, surrounded in mildewed caulk, and one of the tubs didn’t drain.

The tile floors had black grit in the textured surface and the grout was black where it should have been taupe.

Electrical outlets were loose in their boxes or missing cover plates.

One upside to the state of our condo is that I was motivated to stay out of it and enjoy the pool/beach/local sites.

This was by far the most poorly-kept condo I’ve rented along South Forest Beach.

I’d close this rental at the next opportunity for a deep clean and maintenance/upkeep. I’d also leave an approved cleaner, dish brush/sponge, and dish soap for renters to promote better care of the unit.

We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the location and spaciousness of the condo, but we’re truly sorry to learn that the condition of the unit fell short of expectations. While Unit 211 is listed at a significantly lower price than the other 40+ properties we manage in Ocean One — something we clearly note in the listing to help set expectations — we still hold every unit to a basic standard of cleanliness, comfort, and safety. Based on your comments, we’ve already taken several actions: All pillows, pillowcases, linens, and bedspreads have been replaced with brand-new items. The carpets, upholstered furniture, and tile floors have been professionally cleaned, and the tile has also been polished. Our maintenance team unclogged the tub drain and replaced any missing or damaged electrical outlet covers. We’ve instructed our cleaners to begin providing dish soap and a sponge in all future stays, and have reminded them to double-check the cleanliness of dishes and cookware. A full kitchen inventory is scheduled for this fall to identify missing or deteriorated items. Finally, we’ve noted issues like caulking, cabinetry condition, and fixture wear and will be discussing them with the property owner with the hope of upgrades following the summer season. Your review was taken seriously, and as a result, meaningful improvements have already been made. We hope you'll consider staying with us again in the future — either in an upgraded version of this unit or in one of our many other properties that might better match your expectations.

We have stayed at ocean one a few times and this property has never been updated or maintained. Very disappointed in the condo itself. Everything felt very dirty, minimal kitchen stuff provided, and overall condition of the property was horrible. There was an electrical outlet in the bedroom that was basically pushed through the wall. Would never rent this unit again. Way overpriced for what you get.

Ocean One 211 Not recommended at this time

I am giving Seashore Vacations five stars for their customer service and professionalism in providing our family with a fantastic stay during our trip to Hilton Head Island. The original place we booked, Unit 211, was less than desirable in terms of cleanliness and overall comfort. Yes it is advertised as not updated but the pictures don't reflect the actual condition of the flooring, cabinetry, furniture, etc. We chose this unit based on its location to the pool for the kids thinking we could get past the outdated kitchen but the rest of the unit is not satisfactory and needs major attention. If it wasn't for the professionalism of Seashore Vacations in finding us another unit that truly represents the Ocean One property, our family would have been miserable for the duration of our stay. We are so grateful to them. Hopefully the owner of unit 211 makes the necessary updates because the location of the unit is fantastic.

Great stay at Ocean One

We were extremely happy with the location, the ocean views were amazing, steps away from the beach, warm pool and great tiki bar next door with live music. The music was enjoyable from the balcony but you could not hear with the doors closed and when trying to sleep. The property management was very accommodating with early check-in and late check-out. Kitchen and bathrooms were very out dated but as pictured/expected. Overall great experience.

Needs updating . Great view though .

Very outdated condo. Needs updating. Back room has leaking shower so you have to listen to dripping all night if you’re in that room. Called office and they stated there is nothing that can be done as they have to go through other condo to fix. Besides that it has a beautiful view . It would be nice to have a spatula. We borrowed one from condo next door . We did have a great time.

Beach Vacation with Seashore

Seashore Vacations, Inc. was easy to correspond with and very informative on what to expect on our vacation at Ocean One 211. They made sure we had the information we needed.
We knew up front that Ocean One 211 needed updating, but it had what we needed for our group. Ocean One 211 does need updating, but it is clean, well maintained and well stocked with supplies and kitchen utensils.
The pool was very accessible and enjoyable. And the beach was an easy walk with a well maintained walkway. The morning sunrise was beautiful.

Perfect Location

The property location and beach view can’t be beat! However, unit 211 is very outdated. The price cut does not make up for how badly the condo needs some love. The ceiling in the kitchen is falling down, all the cabinets are falling apart, the bathrooms are really rough, etc. if you can get past all of that, the location is perfect.

Summer vacation

We had an absolutely wonderful time with our family during our stay. The location can’t be beat. Looking about at the ocean was amazing. But be forewarned, and the description in the listing even says, the unit is in desperate need of a major upgrade. Even with a lower price than other units in Ocean One that are Oceanfront, you are still paying alot of money for the week. If sitting on the balcony looking out to the ocean with a cocktail in your hand, this is fine for you. But if you expect a renovated unit without any outdated amenities then this is NOT for you! We have stayed in Ocean One 2 others times and LOVE the location. Close to Coligny and the Tiki hut, great pool and it’s nice having grills to cook out on. Also the fire pit area was nice to sit out by. But we were not able to turn them on, which would have been nice since the evenings were a little cool.

Girl's Trip

This location is awesome and the views are amazing! The unit is in need of some major updates but, overall, is adequate for a long weekend. There were a few areas that need a deep cleaning but those didn't affect our visit. Seashore Vacations was great to deal with, as always!

211 Ocean one

This rental needs a complete overhaul. The sinks do not drain, the hot water heater is too small. The cabinets are literally rotten if away, the dishwasher runs for hours, the carpet is gross, the patio furniture is almost nonexistent, the tv didn’t work, the refrigerator has rust on the outside of it and the shower heads were all falling apart. We have rented at o ram one for 12 years and will never rent 211 again.

211 Ocean One

We 7 gals, 54-78, made our 19th annual pilgrimage to HHI, and were very happy Hurricane Ian missed us. We had a great time, as usual, despite 3 gloomy and stormy days. Oh well, no sunburns.
The condo was exceptionally clean and is very comfortable, although not updated, so the bathroom all have tubs and curtains vs any type of grab bar, or walk-in shower (yes, we realized we are getting older!).
Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pans, but needs more forks and a working can opener.
Furniture is old but very comfortable, so we didn’t feel claustrophobic on our shut-in days.
As always, we loved this get-away and will request this unit again.
We love Ocean One, and Seashore Vacations was very responsive to our needs.

Great location! Very dated condo.

The condo building grounds are great. The location to the beach is perfect and shopping and dining within walking distance. The management company is great. Easy to work with and very responsive when needed. The individual condo itself is very dated and in need of some much needed TLC. The cabinets are disintegrating at the bottom on kitchen and bathrooms, faucets are barely holding on with caulk, same as shower heads. Furniture is extremely dated by several decades. TVs have no smart functions. There is no tv that you can log in to any streaming services and there are only about 15 channels. No in demand or anything. Most things needed in kitchen are there.

Spring break get away

Location to Coligny plaza was what we were looking for and it was perfect.The pool area was beautiful, the new grills worked great. The description of the condo was exactly as was stated. A little bit dated but we knew that going in. With four adults and four kids it was perfect as we didn’t have to worry about the kids breaking or wrecking anything. The toaster in the unit was burning bagels and sparks were coming out of the toaster, but we got a hold of seashore vacations and on Monday morning they delivered a new toaster to us. Overall we had a wonderful time would definitely stay at the condo again it was very clean and we had everything we needed to make our vacation a wonderful experience.The only thing that I thought was unnecessary was having to stop by seashore vacations office to pick up a key code which could have been emailed to me.Thought that was a bit of a waste of time.

2021 Vacation

We knew going into our trip that the rental was not updated but the stove did not work 100%. The large burner which is the one we always wanted to use was the one that did not work. In the front bathroom the tub ran water the whole time. I think if they did a little maintenance it would be a better place.

Review of Ocean One, unit # 211

The location is great, but the property could use an upgrade. The linens were threadbare & rough. The kitchen silverware needs to be replaced. Could use more kitchen linens. There was only one dish cloth for the whole week. I think Seashore Vacation should let renters know that parking is limited to 2 cars per unit. They had plenty of opportunity before our stay to communicate the information to us. It was challenging each night to find somewhere to park our extra car. The security personnel were wonderful & helpful. They do a great job, and are good PR people for Ocean One.

This second floor ocean view condo is a quick walk from the beach and Coligny Plaza. We enjoyed our venues from the balcony. It’s an older condo and has not been updated, but that’s reflected in the price. It was very clean.

Great location

Great location just steps away from the Coligny area retail and restaurants. Our unit at the property was ocean front with awesome view of the pool and ocean. Beach was very clean and with very convenient access. The furniture in the unit was dated but comfortable and only one bedroom had a TV... I believe the pricing is adequately adjusted to reflect these items. Highly recommend this location.

Ocean One Room 211

We have stayed at Ocean One several times. Great location for shops, restaurants, bike trails, etc. However, remember there is a public access one building up from Ocean One. Also, this particular unit really needs to be updated. I can live with an outdated kitchen. Its the furniture in the living room is just gross. I would like to buy this unit and give it a complete remodel because that is what it needs. Also, the room was halfway cleaned upon our arrival. That is the cleaning companies fault not the owner of the unit. This is the first time I have ever stayed on the second floor. I would recommend going up at least to the third floor to help eliminate noise from below. Plus, the view would be just a little better.

HHI 2019

The condo was very outdated. The sofas and chairs stained and dirty. Bathrooms and kitchen fixtures rusted and worn. Even the $20 coffeemaker was rusted and did not get hot. No TVs in two of the bedrooms. The view the condo offered was great as was the location. Despite the condo it was a great vacation. Love Hilton Head!

Clean, but definitely needs renovation!

Ocean One is probably my favorite complex in Forest Beach. It’s a short walk to Coligny. The property is very well maintained. We were hoping we’d have a decent view of the ocean since we were on the 2nd floor and we weren’t disappointed. This unit is in dire need of renovation. The furniture was very old and worn. The cabinets were in horrible shape and the faucets all felt like they were going to fall off. I read previous reviews, so I was not expecting anything fancy and the price pretty much reflects the condition. However, the owners better do something soon!

Ocean One 211

We have been to Hilton Head many times and this was one of the best locations ever! Located just a few minutes from all the Colignay area has to offer. Beautiful views of the ocean. Very well maintained buildings, pool and grounds.

Very happy

Ocean One!!!

Grat place to stay, right on the beach with beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean. Very nice accomodations.

Last minute beach trip

We decided to to take a last minute beach trip to end the summer on a happy note. We were very pleased to find a wonderful, clean condo in our favorite location at a great price. The folks at Seashore Vacations never fail to go above and beyond to make our visits to Hilton Head Island stress free.
We have stayed in unit 211 before and it is always clean, but it could certainly use some updating.

Overall, the place was very good

Just a few things. dresser drawer handles broke in the twin bedroom when we arrived. An explanation in the packet how to unlock and lock the door. Had to call for direction.

Joint Family Get Away

The rental though dated was still adequate and was sufficient for 3 families with a total of 3 young children! We have been going to Ocean One for over 20 some yrs. we love it and will go back again!
The only negative incident occurred when our first time Son-in-Law from Denver went out to the Pool about 7:30 am and the guard walking by told him in a very abrupt tone to get his feet out of the water! We know there is a rule but he didn't and the guard could have informed him of the rule in a more friendlier way! It really set the tone for that particular guard since our Son-in Law is a very quiet and kind individual! I only wish I could have been there to inform the guard of his manner! In all the yrs going down there, it's the first time something like this happened! Well, maybe he was having a bad day!

My perfect vacation spot.

Location is central to most stores and restaurants.Apartment was clean and outside area
was always maintained re:leaves,etc.
Management always took care of our needs.
Over the past nine years have recommended Ocean1
to four 4 or 5 couples
Enjoyed walking the beach each morning,eating
at restaurants, and of course shopping along
with playing card games at night.If possible,
would appreciate having a new fridge,stove, and
dish washer.(just asking)

A Bit cool this time around.

Normally the weather is quite a bit warmer but

Needs some upgraded LR furniture. No TVs in 2 of 3 bedrooms.

Great location. Unit needs some updating but generally good. Smaller BRs need TVs and better (darker) window covering for sleeping.

Beautiful and convenient condo - perfect for our family!

Thank you for a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo. It was just the right size and the location was wonderful. The only thing that would have been better is if we were a little higher up we could have seen the ocean better.... otherwise, it was just great! Walking to the local shops and shopping in the outlet mall were an added bonus. Thank you!
