Ocean One 124

Overall the location and experience was very good. The master shower drain and one of the sinks in another bedroom did not drain well at all. The floor throughout could have been moped better. It was a little dirty and you could feel sand on your feet. We mop edit over first day and it was much better.

The location of this condo is amazing, overall we had a great stay. The check-in was smooth and easy. The condo is very spacious, kitchen/living room very functional and the low floor location is super practical (all the beach gear).
Some small improvements to make it perfect would be new outdoor furniture and black out curtains in master bedroom. However, we loved our stay and will be back :) Thank you.

Seashore Vacations were very nice prior to our stay. My issue is with the unit not being cleaned before our arrival. The floors were filthy, the outdoor furniture was so dirty we couldn’t sit out there. There was hair in the drain in one of the tubs. Again not cleaned in quite awhile!!

From check in to check out. Everything was accurately defined. Excellent accommodations and very clean. The location was perfect. Beautiful pool and easy beach access. A 5 minute walk to Coligny center. Very nice shops and. We have already told friends about this place. My wife and I have discussed a return trip to Ocean One.

Unit is on the beach and central to Coligney and restaurants. The unit itself was clean, has an updated kitchen, and three bedrooms...although I did not use but one. Tv has all channels. Furniture not new but acceptable. Pool area large and pool was heated. I would rent the unit again.

Only problem was with blankets and cable. Extra blankets for cooler temps would have been nice. Cable box was not set to right resolution and we spent 3 hours fixing it. Smart TV worked fine but the cable box was a challenge. Otherwise great place, clean and comfortable

Condo is as described. Very neat and clean with great layout. Each bedroom has own bathroom suite. Condo is near great restaurants and convenient to beach. The management promptly addressed all our needs and concerns. Also we got coupon for beach chair rentals from the rental agency which was really great. Would stay here again!

We stayed at Ocean One on the lower level. Our family had an amazing time, even with the Tropical Storm! The condo was exceptional and tons of space! We loved being so close to the beach and Coligny shopping plaza! I have booked several times from Seashore and have had excellent experiences! The staff is very helpful and quick to answer any questions! We look forward to visiting Hilton Head again and would definitely recommend Ocean One room 124! The room was amazing!

This Villa was very nice and convenient to lots around it. But most of all having a big pool and being right on the beach was definitely a plus! We loved being able to take a long nice walk or a short walk to coffee, shops and ice cream too. Everyone was very nice when checking in and out or if anything was needed. Even with construction going on our stay was very nice. We are definitely planning on renting again.

A great rental unit steps from the beach to accommodate family and friends. The unit is well stocked with kitchen cookware and dinnerware.
The rental company- Seashore Vacations - is very responsive to any needs also. Our second year to rent this great space so close to everything on the island, too.

We loved the layout of this unit. However, there must be something wrong with the a/c unit. Even though the temperature was good there was so much moisture in the air our things felt damp. Towels, clothes, bedding even sitting on the sofa felt damp. We have stayed in many units at Ocean One and never felt this much moisture before. We also had a 14 month old crawling and toddling about and her legs were black from the floor. Had housekeeping come back and mop which helped some but not sure if the flooring just has a finish that rubs off easily or not. Would have liked a few rugs to walk on for this reason. Otherwise the unit was fine. Well decorated and supplied

We have stayed in this unit many times and there have been some nice updates. Dishwasher probably needs replaced though and freezer ice maker doesn’t work well. Unit was mostly clean, but floors could have been swept and mopped. The patio table was filthy. Light bulbs were out in a couple ceiling lights and tv remote with no batteries (issues quickly resolved by seashore though). It is possible that no one was in the unit prior to us, but someone should come do a quick check of the unit in that case. Check cleanliness, lights, wipe down patio furniture. The cushions on the patio chairs and pretty stained and could use replacement. Finally, and this is no fault of seashore, but ocean one now closes the pool at dusk where it used to be open until 11pm. Also fire pits are not year round and it can get cool in the evening with the breeze from the ocean. These 2 things were very disappointing.

WE have stayed with Seashore Vacations for 12-13 years now and have always had a wonderful experience. I have owned a Real Estate Agency and managed rentals for 35 years and understand how difficult it is to keep up with all the moving parts. Ocean One 124 is an ideal location, size and layout for our family. The downside is that it is advertised to accomodate 10 people,yet 10 people can't eat a meal together, watch TV together, sit on the patio together. Most of the time when guests rent to accomodate 10, it is usually because they want to be together. There aren't enough dishes, glasses, flatware, chairs, table, sitting was disappointing. When we arrived, we found coffee grounds and coffee in the pot, sand in one of the beds (I washed the sheets and remade the bed), 3 bags of food in the fridge, The floors were so dirty that our toddlers' feet were literally black from crawling (so bad). The **** roaches were disgusting.I didn't call the office and complain...we made the best of it. One of my concerns is that Buddy is paying a service to do a job that they are not doing and Buddy's reputation is suffering, not the service's. My hope is that he can find quality people willing to do honest work and find owner's that are willing to upgrade and follow trends being set by guests. Covid changed the way we vacation and owner's need to address the change to stay competitive. Thanks Buddy for all you do...keep at it. Laura Fields

We are very glad to hear that this guest enjoyed their stay despite some issues. We also appreciate the feedback and that this guest has rented from us many times at both Surf Court and Ocean One for many years including this same Ocean One unit (124) in October of 2021. The owner of #124 invested in some upgrades for #124 in late 2021 and early 2022. These upgrades included changing out the 2 twins in the 3rd bedroom and replacing them with 1 double & 1 twin, fresh paint throughout and new luxury vinyl plank flooring. The unit has been very well received this year and it is certainly disappointing to get a negative review on cleaning as well as condition given the upgrades over the last year. We wish we were given an opportunity to correct the cleaning issues while the guest was here. However, many guests choose to report these problems after the fact instead. We have been very pleased overall with the job this cleaning company has done and will certainly discuss the problems reported by this guest. We are at the tail end of what has been an extremely busy season and many of the units are due for a thorough "Deep Clean" and an inventory for items in need of replacement (particularly in the kitchen). As things slow down this winter we will be scheduling these during periods of vacancy in preparation for the 2023 season. Our goal is to make this an isolated problem for this particular guest and we welcome the opportunity to put our best foot forward for all future guests of Ocean One 124.

The overall rental experience was very good. Our condo was in a great location to everything we needed. It was in good condition and had had some recent updates. The space was nice and served our family well. Check in was smooth and easy and all communication with the rental agency was friendly and helpful. The only complaint would be that upon arrival our unit was not very clean. That would be the one area to improve upon. We had specified a late check-in, so a much cleaner unit was expected.
But overall, great experience!

Absolutely no issues with Seashore vacations. We did have an issue with getting into our condo on time, but the issue was due to the cleaning service and seashore was quick to make it up to us. In regards to the condo, unit 124 at ocean one I feel it is due for some updates. We have stayed in that unit for several years now, but it is definitely showing some wear and tear. The bedroom carpets are stained and gross, mattress in master bedroom needs replaced it doesn’t feel even when laying in it, and ice maker didn’t work. We did not bother to call about it and just bought bags of ice. As for Ocean One complex or is wonderful
And the location is great’!

We had a total of 7 guys and all had plenty of room in the condo. Great location for the beach and Coligny circle. Restaurants close enough we could walk over and enjoy ourselves. We would stay in this condo again.

Condo was as described, nice and spacious. View is not shown to be of the parking lot so that was a surprise. Kitchen could use nicer utensils so beware if you are a cook. Would book again! Rental agency was awesome!

We have used this unit a few times during our Hilton Head vacations. We love the location and the unit very much. It fits out needs as a family with the size and the bedroom layouts. Excellent as always!

Unit 124 was clean and had plenty of space for our family of 7 (even housed 11 for 1 night). It was mainly comfortable, other than 1 of the twin beds that dipped in pretty noticeably when sleeping on. Although this unit wasn’t an ocean view, it was right on the water, had a large pool(unfortunately still closed due to Covid-19), a nice grilling station, and well-maintained grounds. The kitchen had all the necessary supplies needed to prepare meals and drinks (blender and Keurig). The location is just a block away from Coligny plaza where plenty of restaurants and shops can be found. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely go back to Ocean One. The property management company was also very easy to work with and accommodated our requests for additional guests for 1 night.

This roomy 3 bedroom condo was perfectly located on the ocean with a great oceanfront pool. Our relatives visiting Hilton Head for a mini-reunion enjoyed their stay here very much.

This is a place I would stay again especially if the WiFi situation was fixed. Poor poor WiFi connection. Great location to Coligny Park, which has good shopping and food. Well stocked kitchen and lots of storage and closet space. Pool was a good size for the amount of people.

Beautiful condo in a great location. Had a few housekeeping issues to start the week, sheets were not placed on bed in master bedroom, pillow case missing on one pillow in on one of the double beds, and dishwasher was not unloaded.

The stay was still fantastic!

The condo is very clean and close to the beach and pool. The unit is very welled stocked. The beds were comfortable and having 3 bathrooms was very nice. This beach is more crowded than we are accustomed to, but having the beach and pool so close was a huge plus. It is so close you do not even have to pack a cooler or bag. Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay very much.
