Ocean One 121

We rented 121 and it was very nice. However, after four years of staying here they have changed some policies and we were much less happy with our experience. There are signs posted everywhere saying ‘no sport activities’ on the lawns. We ended up having to go down to the beach even to just toss a foam ball with our kids. The staff was nothing shy of rude in enforcing this new rule. The year round resident in condo 123 actually swore at my kids saying to get the f*** Off of his lawn. When I told the gate worker that we didn’t want anyone to talk to our kids like that, he did not apologize or acknowledge the completely inappropriate way our neighbor talked to the kids. I eventually had to just tell him that I didn’t feel that I was being heard and that we had reached an impasse. We will give this location one more try, as the location is SO convenient for us, but this condo development WILL lose business if they don’t loosen up on some of these guidelines about play on the grass, and address and hold residents accountable for hostile behaviors with visitors.

We are sorry to hear about your interaction with a permanent resident and the security staff. No guest should feel uncomfortable during their vacation. However, we do want to clarify that Seashore Vacations manages only the interior of the privately owned Unit 121 on behalf of the homeowner. We are not responsible for the actions of permanent residents, security personnel, or the enforcement of community rules, as those fall under the authority of the property's HOA and regime management company. The rule prohibiting sports and ball play on the lawns is not a new policy. It has been in place for years and is communicated to all guests through the community rules posted in the condo and included in our guidebook texted to every guest upon arrival. We understand it may seem more noticeable now, as the HOA has been enforcing it more strictly following recent landscaping improvements and building renovations. While we respect your opinion of the community policies, we do feel it is unfortunate that our rental management services and Unit 121 received the lowest rating for circumstances that were outside of our control. We take great pride in maintaining the homes we manage and providing responsive service to our guests throughout their stay. We do appreciate your loyalty over the past four years and hope you'll give Unit 121 another opportunity in the future.

Great overall. Unit was nice and is partially renovated, location is great, but in need of a few updates. The beds weren’t the most comfortable. Mattresses should be replaced. Middle bathroom could do with an update as well. One small addition for the unit would be a shower seat for use in the walk in shower. Thankfully our Rental Company provided one for us. I’m handicapped and needed one. Decor is great and LR is nice but recliner should definitely be replaced. We enjoyed our stay.

Everything was fine. I have to shout out to the owners and Board of Ocean One. The upgrades and improvements are outstanding. Side note the bath tub faucet in the second bathroom still runs when it is shut off. I figured how to back off a little to get it to stop but not sure if everyone can figure it out. I think the linen company needs to replace the towels with new. They were very worn

We really enjoyed our first family trip to HHI. Seashore Vacations were professional, friendly and very helpful. The condo was spacious but a little out dated.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in unit 221 Ocean One this past week. The location was fabulous with the pool just a few steps away from the back patio and the beach only a short walk further. Having Coligny Circle and the Tiki Hut right next door was great. Our kids really enjoyed the pool and thye beach. The only negatives were that the beds were very uncomfortable in all bedsrooms. The mattresses and beddings were of poor quality. We had to have service come and fix the dryer which seems to be near needing replacement. Even with these couple negatives, I would highly recommend the place. It was great.
