Ocean One 106

Overall the property is fine. Housekeeping is substandard. Huge dust bunnies under bed and furniture as well as with food and food wrappers. Cooking pan and corelle ovenware put in cabinet dirty. Had to clean they were filthy.

We were very surprised when we got there that the washer was not working (we were notified that a new one would be delivered on Monday) it arrived Monday afternoon. The shower in one of the bedrooms was broken (the handle you activate the shower with and stopper for tub was messed up. The pans that were available to use were all scratched up no large cookie sheet, no scissors. Not stocked with the necessities needed to cook a meal. Other than those items we had a great vacation. The rental office did keep us up to date on the washer delivery and the plumbing repairs. The plumber was supposed to to bring back a stopper for tub but never came back.

This is the 4th year we have stayed and rented through Seashore Vacations. The place is in a perfect location we love that you can walk to the plaza and beach. I would highly recommend Ocean One and definitely rent through Seashore Vacations.

We frequent Hilton head sometimes 3 to 5 times a year. I love Hilton head. Over all the stay was awesome even though I would have liked to be facing the beach the unit was comfortable but there were a few areas that needed attention the toilets could have been cleaner and the sinks in the kitchen and bathrooms minor. We were near enough to the beach that we really enjoyed it.

Condo was was ready early for check-in. Stopped to speak with Buddy and his staff. They were all friendly and helpful as always. No issues with the rental other than a minor plumbing issue that was quickly resolved. Improvements to Ocean One were complete and were nice upgrades.

Seashore Vacations has great customer service. We had a couple minor issues when we got there.( closet door wouldn’t close, headboard that was loose off the wall) They sent a repairman first thing Monday morning!

I’ll keep this review succinct...
The location is amazing!
1st floor walk out directly leads to a refreshing breezeway that leads to the pool!
Pool is actually ‘cooled’ when necessary!!!
Back of unit has a patio that leads to the shops of Coligny and nearby restaurants!
Overall unit is well stocked and updated, however, beds/mattresses need updated/replaced (at least in my opinion).
Be aware security around Ocean One is definitely overly restrictive...for instance we were not even allowed to sit at the firepit area past 9 pm! Why have a firepit area if it closes at dark???
This policy will have to change in order for us to stay at Ocean One again.
Seashore Vacation is top notch, no worries if need anything or have questions.

Our location was good. We like staying on South Forest Beach, close to Coligny. The condo was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the new refrigerator. We had an issue with a toilet and the slider/screen. The toilet was fixed quickly as well as the screen

We've been staying at Ocean One for years. This was our first time in this unit. We love the layout and the updated decor. The kitchen is well equipped and there is great storage. Very comfortable for three couples.

Check in was smooth, as always. We noticed some more updates in the condo since last year. We could not get the Keurig to work but enjoyed the Air Fryer and Power XL. The ice maker and the external controls on the fridge did not work. We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. It was a great vacation including the VayK Gear.

Great vacation. We like Ocean One 106. The bedding fits our family of children and grandchildren. The three bathrooms are essential for us. We liked the improvements this year. We had a little problem with the lights in the kitchen but it was fixed quickly. We love the outside table and seating for our morning paper and coffee. Love the squirrel! The stove needs to be replaced but it was usable and the kitchen cabinets could benefit from a good scrubbing. I believe the owners are making improvements every season because we rented this unit last year and the bathroom has been redone beautifully. We would rent it again. I hope the prices have peaked or drop a little because they went sky high since Covid. We have stayed in Ocean One about 5 years seeing big increases.

We loved this condo! It was a great location. We could quickly get to the pool or beach without any stairs. We usually like an ocean view but the patio was nice with nice furniture, and we could walk out the patio door to our car. Kitchen was well supplied with anything we needed. Bedrooms were spacious and bathrooms were very nice.

We had a great week. The location is great being on the beach and close to Coligny to walk or bike to the shops and restaurants. The unit was clean and the renovations made so far were very nice. We had a late check in but stopped by the office the next day. The staff was friendly, as always. We had no issues with the unit.

The unit was clean and well equipped. We loved the layout and the bedding choices. The outside patio was a plus because we had a table with chairs and an outside couch giving us extra seats. We like to bring our things right into the first floor door. I wish they would lose the glass top dining table. They are hard to keep clean and the big chairs take up too much room. Needed a new broom. Other than that we loved it.

Our rental 106 was perfect. It had been cleaned and well stocked with everything needed. Location was fantastic! Close to pool and beach. Would have been nice to have a covered picnic area near grills bit thankful the grills were in good working condition. Easy walk to coligny with lots to do there. Kids wanted to stay in living area to watch movie one night so pulled out sofa sleeper to find very large urine stain so did not utilize. All other beds had mattress pads and were quite comfortable. Would recommend and will definitely be returning in future.

Rental was spacious and warm. Instructions and directions were clear and concise. The property was very clean. Bathrooms are a little dated but very functional. I would definitely return in the future with family. Location was great, quiet environment, walking distance to parks, beach and restaurants in the area including bike rentals.

We've been visiting HHI for the past 8 years for spring break. We've stayed in the Coligny area each year. Everything is within walking distance. We love staying in the Ocean One complex because of its proximity to everything and the units are great for our party of 7.

We spent 4 nights at this apartment and enjoyed it very much, location is EXCELLENT.
Our only comment is regarding the kitchen utensils, the pots and pans were small and we were in 6 people and there were no containers to store food (leftovers).
Besides that, we had a WONDERFUL time, the house was perfect for 6 people.
We would definitely return.

We had a great time with grandkids who had never been to the beach. The cold water temps didn't stop them from getting in the ocean. Location perfect for us with easy access to groceries, etc. Condo set up was perfect for us: 3 bed/3 bath. 2 rolls of tp/ bathroom!! Kitchen well stocked, we ate in each night.

We could not have asked for a better stay at Ocean One 106. The condo was very spacious and had everything we needed. We were only steps away from the beach, restaurants, grocery stores and shops. The property management group was very helpful on tips for renting bikes, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

The good: large rooms, great layout, beach is a few hundred feet away, nice mattress toppers

The Bad: Floors were grimy and felt sandy even before we ever stepped foot on the beach, musty smell(bring Fabreeze), mold in bathroom, dresser drawers had trouble opening and closing, odd shaped pool that felt kind of small for the amount of people that were using it.

Overall we enjoyed our stay(It's Hilton Head, how could we not). We've stayed at over a half a dozen properties over the last decade or so and look forward to another trip again next year.

Ocean front great location. Live music at the property next door. The unit was clean and spacious with plenty of bath towels. The grounds were very well kept. Mostly retired folks so it was nice and quiet. Good outdoor grills equipped with cooking utensils. Large washer and dryer, dishwasher, hair dryer and Ironing board. The kitchen could use some working utensils (the can opener was broken). There weren’t any storage containers with covers (such as Tupperware). It would have been nice to have a couple beach chairs and beach towels to use but, since we didn’t, we used the extra blankets and bath towels and washed them before checking out.

The unit pictures were true to form. The unit was clean and the linens were plentiful. Kitchen was supplies with adequate dishes, glasses and silverware, but could of used more pans/cookie sheets, tec. Great location and close to pool and ocean.

Had a great week at the beach, unfortunately we were disappointed on the conditions of the condo and property.

Very happy we were able to get in early but:
Condo was dirty, we had to clean it once we got in. Dead bugs in bathroom, toilets & counters not clean. Kitchen floor dirty, carpets as well.

Landscaping over growing onto patio, lots of weeds.

Mold in bathrooms

Dryer barely functioned, took at least 2 cycles to barely dry stuff.

A/C broke on last day, had repair men there 4 times the last at midnight without informing us.

We stayed in Ocean One Villa 106 during our stay. The Villa was very spacious and clean, but could use a few updates regarding bedroom furnishings. Bedrooms were large and each one had an average size bathroom. There was no master suite, but we did not need one. Kitchen was huge, but there could have been more cooking utensils as we like to cook and eat in. A plus was that it had a full size washer and dryer, but we had to set the dryer at least three times so it would dry the clothes. Villa does not face the ocean, but was very close to the pool. The beach access was great, just a short walk. Overall, the Villa met our needs for eight adults and two young children. We were within walking distance to Coligny Park and shops.

The condo was dated and only in fair condition.
Carpet was soiled when we arrived, furniture was old and not in good condition. Kitchen had older appliances. Dryer did not work properly. Towels were threadbare.Did not get a fair value for the price.The other 2 units family rented were great. Seashore Vacations did have carpet cleaned and were very responsive.

Upon arrival I was very disappointed, as I thought from the pictures we would be looking out at the ocean not a parking lot! I have rented a lot of places over the years and would have thought that a place on HHI would be in top condition, this condo needs a lot of updating and extreme cleaning. I don't think the baseboard in the kitchen under the sink and dishwasher has ever been cleaned or any of the baseboard. I bought Lysol wipes to wipe everything down!! Apparently the owner thinks that you will be eating all your meals out as there were not enough pots and pans to fix anything. The king bed in main bedroom was hard needs a new mattress and mattress pad. The only reason I would recommend this condo is the location to everything. If the condo was updated and really cleaned it would be a nice place.

We spent a week at Ocean One 106 with my wife, daughter and parents. The property was in decent shape. The condo has tile floors as you walk in the front entrance. There is carpet in the dining room, living room and bedrooms that is dated. There are two chairs in the living room that are dated but the couches look relatively new. There is a small patio outside with an oversized table and chairs. The condo has a ton of space and comfortably fits 6-8 guests. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and silverware. The condo is very accessible from the parking lot and is a short walk to the pool and boardwalk to the beach. We had to contact the rental agency to report a few misc items during our stay but they were responsive and came to check on the issues. Overall, this was a great place to stay and we would book it again for future vacations.

The pictures that were posted were exactly what was there. Decorating was very nice, the rooms were clean. The location was great for 2 young grandchildren to walk out the door and be just several yards away from the pool and beach. The location was very convenient for shopping, eating, bike riding. I would stay there again.

We were very pleased with the location and overall convenience. Great being near the plaza and stores. Maybe would like to see more of a view from the first floor room but it was still spacious and very clean. The kitchen was excellent and baths were all clean and new as well. The only thing I might change was the lock on the door - it was a bit tricky sometimes.

Liked the location, 1st floor was nice. No guard on duty EVER in the gatehouse. Needed extreme update & makeover, but lots of storage room. Not enough coffee cups, most lamps were broken, beds very comfy, lots of towels & blankets, great A/C, pool great, nice beach. Would stay here again.

There were 6 adults and one 5 year old in our group. The unit 106 was prefect. The living area accommodated all of us easily. The unit was very clean. Needed a few more kitchen items but we made do. We had a few plumbing problems but they were fixed immediately. Loved the location of Ocean One. The pool and beach were right outside our door!

My chief concern is that we were without wifi for one day because that information was not given in the welcome packet. This caused a major inconvenience since we had to find an internet cafe late in the evening.

Hello,
We had just a couple of things that we thought could have been a little bit cleaner. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest nor was the kitchen floor. We purchased some cleanser and cleaned the bathrooms and mopped the kitchen floor and hallway. We also bought some vacumn cleaner bags and vacumned the floor. The vacumn was so full that it wouldn't stand up with out being propped up against the wall. The only other thing that we had trouble with was the patio blinds. There were two blinds that kept falling down and we tried to repair those as well. This is our second stay at this condo and we love the location and the grounds. I just thought you would like to know that the cleanliness was a little less than the last time we stayed there. My comments are not meant to criticize, but only to inform you of what we observed while we were there. We love Ocean One and plan to stay there again next year. Thank you for asking about our stay. We had a wonderful time and look forward to next year.

WE HAD A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE STAYING AT OUR CONDO. WE WOULD LOVE TO RETURN! THE ONLY THING THAT COULD HAVE BEEN IMPROVED UPON WOULD BE THE FURNITURE IN A COUPLE OF THE BEDROOMS AS THE DRAWERS WERE DIFFICULT TO USE. I THINK THEY WERE JUST WORN OUT. OTHERWISE WE LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT OUR HILTON HEAD VACATION!

Great location overall, but you can hear the LOUD trash pick up every morning at 6:30 am right outside the bedroom window. The furniture in the blue and white room also need badly replaced. Would be a great condo with a few updates.
