Ocean Club 38

This is our 4th time at this location, 2nd at this condo. We think it is a great location. Love having the roof top space. We use it for coffee, late afternoons and occasionally dinner. This space is a bit dated but always clean and the kitchen is well stocked. Would not hesitate to return.

This is a very comfortable accommodation with an exceptional view of the ocean from the small balcony and the generous sized upper deck. Plenty of room to gather for 2 or 3 couples yet offering plenty of private space with 3 en suite bathrooms. Great location with easy access to all that Hilton Head has to offer. The kitchen needs some upgrading but is satisfactory for most needs. Communication was always prompt and very helpful. I would recommend it without hesitation.

not great, plan a vacation with other family members in the condo next-door. The air conditioning broke and the owner wouldn’t fix it. It was 100° outside. disappointed you didn’t have better contract w your owners and regarding repairs to the renters. My brother ended up having to move to another complex.totally killed the vibe of the vacation.pool area not well kept and no grill on premises. Disappointing vacation.

Thank you for your feedback. We’d like to clarify that the unit you stayed in—Unit 38—did not experience any of the issues mentioned in your review. The concerns you described regarding the air conditioning, were related to Unit 40, which is a separate condo with a different owner. While we understand your frustration, it’s important to note that this review does not accurately reflect Unit 38, and we don’t believe it’s fair for this unit to receive a negative rating based on another unit’s condition. Regarding Unit 40, we did offer a comparable alternative when the AC problem arose. The owner was also prepared to replace the AC unit, and it has since been replaced—but unfortunately, it could not be done during your stay. We’re always working to ensure a great experience for our guests, and we do apologize for the inconvenience this situation caused your group. However, we hope future reviews reflect the correct unit so that others can make informed decisions.

Great location. Have stayed in the complex 3 times and will keep coming back. Love the outside deck on the top. Kitchen very well equipped. Unit in good shape and clean, some might bit dated. Felt bad because had to set AC lower then would normally to get all bedrooms cool. Would definitely look to rent a again.

The location and floor plan can’t be beat! We loved the third floor patio! The kitchen needs updating, the water pressure was weaker than we’d have liked in the master shower, and the blinds were heavy to move and could be updated to cordless for safety and ease of use. The furnishings were comfortable and nice, and Seashore Vacations was very responsive to anything we needed during our stay.

We had a fun four days in HHI. The townhouse was lovely, the location excellent. Kitchen was a bit tiny but well equipped. We were not planning on fixing big meals, so the size was manageable for us. There were plenty of games in the credenza to help pass the time on a rainy day. The location was perfect and the rooftop patio a huge benefit. The only weird thing was no bathroom door for the commode. There was a door for the water heater, so we opened that door for a bit of privacy but it wasn't full privacy. Since the space is limited perhaps adding a bifold door would be a privacy benefit. However, even considering that inconvenience, I would still recommend the stay and intend to remember this listing for my future visit to HHI!

The condo has a wonderful location and view of the beach. It is a bit dated and worn looking. We did call the rental company about a leak in the hall bathroom - from the upstairs bath. Looks like that has been a problem for a while. The deck upstairs needs an umbrella so it can be enjoyed more. We brought an open sun tent and put it up and someone complained that it could be a projectile and cause hurt. It was better secured than an umbrella, but we took it down. The A/C had trouble keeping up - especially in the lower front bedroom. The box fans and ceiling fans really helped move the air and were critical. We would rent here again and over all were very pleased with the unit and location. The pool was terrific and surprisingly not crowded. The beach was outstanding.

Our rental was very clean and was oceanfront with ocean views from our balconies. We go to a beach every year but we loved Hilton Head Island so much that we are coming back in November. The Staff was excellent to work with.

You can’t beat the location! This is just steps to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay here very much and I would definitely book this unit again.

A large three bedroom with three bath condo. Large private main suite upstairs, other two bedrooms on main floor. Excellent location. Short walk to to shopping and restaurants. Quiet, secure area.

We had both unis 38 and 40 at Ocean club Villas. Both units were well-kept and clean. Location was wonderful. My entire family enjoyed the rooftop balcony or we could get together in the evening and enjoy the view of the ocean. I would highly recommend Ocean club and Seashore Vacations for their hospitality. I plan to contact Seashore again and hopefully get the same villas for another state.

It was a nice condo . I wish there were grab bars in the showers and the kitchen was not clean and it definitely needed access to a umbrella for the table on the top deck. Besides that it was very nice, gorgeous views, great porches, comfy beds and so easy to get to beach .
I’d go back if some of those issues were fixed. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating.most importantly the pool is perfect snd the reason we go there!!!

South Forest Beach is a great area to stay and I would not go anywhere else. This reasonably priced condo has a million dollar view of the ocean and easy walk to the beach.

Location and beach views are unmatched. All rooms larger than other condos. Park at front door in assigned parking. 3rd floor deck was fantastic.
However the living room furniture is dated and dirty. The couch reeked of some weird odor. Mattress in 2nd floor master was very uncomfortable. (The 3rd floor master bedroom mattress was great)
The location and views far out-weighed the dated furnishings.

We rented this condo because it was basically on the beach. Very short easy boardwalk to the beach. However the property, although clean, needed updating. The water temperature fluctuated from cold to hot if more than 1 person showered at a time. While the furnishing were nice, the kitchen and bathrooms are in need of updating. There is only 1 dishrag and dishtowel and potholder so bring some from home.

We love HHI and this week was so nice with the cooler temps and mostly sunny days. We enjoyed walking, biking, and swimming. The restaurants are awesome, too! We also love the great customer service at Seashore Vacations!

Loved the area and the fact that it was Oceanfront with great rooftop deck. Very clean and Family-friendly. Showers were a little hard to turn on/off but were able to figure out. Everything was great and wonderful location.

The town house was great. We had a great view, could use an umbrella on deck. The inside was clean and comfortable and had everything you could need! Will stay here again. Seashore vacations are very easy to work with!

We spent three nights at Ocean Club 38. The oceanfront setting is beautiful and makes it so easy to enjoy walking and biking on the wide, firm beach. The large 3rd floor deck is awesome -- a great place to hang out when not at the beach. One couple of our group found their first floor mattress too firm. Unit could use updating -- some peeling paint upstairs and no remote for DVD player. Management company responded promptly when there was a problem with the toaster. However, these things didn't interfere with our having a great time there.

This is our ninth family vacation at Ocean Club Condos and, as in the past, it didn't disappoint. We love the view from the "party deck" and the upgrades to the pool and grounds were great. The short walk to the beach is also a plus. We have never been disappointed and are already planning for next summer.

The after-hours check in was extremely simple and the realty office is just down the street from the condo. The property itself was in a wonderful location. It is close enough to Coligny to easily walk (a plus during a busy holiday weekend), but far enough away that it was quiet and the beach was not crowded. The unit is a bit dated but the living room appears to have been updated recently. The kitchen has all the basics and the unit is very large and clean. The master bedroom upstairs did get much warmer than the rest of the condo, but not too hot to be uncomfortable (however, we are from Florida, so we are used to heat). The mattresses are very, very firm, so just be aware. We loved the enormous patio overlooking the ocean. Overall, the unit could use some minor repairs, new mattresses, and updating... but it is large, an easy walk to the beach and in a prime location. There is a beach restoration project going on currently and a very large pipe running the length of the beach in this area. It did not impact our enjoyment, but we did have to climb over it or walk about 30 yards down the beach to go around it. Be sure to check on the status of this before you book anywhere in Hilton Head as it is an extensive project.

The only problem was when I CALLED TO LET THE SEASHORE KNOW THAT THE UPSTAIRS WAS WARM AND THE AIR NOT WORKING GOOD. THEY SAID THAT NOTHING COULD BE DONE BECAUSE THE SUN COMES IN THE ROOM AND KEEPS IT WARM. NO ONE COULD SLEEP IN THAT ROOM FOR BEING TO WARM.I WAS NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT, BECAUSE WE NEEDED 3 BEDROOMS.IF THE AIR WORKED UPSTAIRS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A PERFECT PLACE TO STAY.IF NOT FIXED I WOUNDN'T STAY THERE AGAIN.

The condo is in a great location. Easy walk to Coligney Plaza with all the shops and great restaurants. Very family style atmosphere at the complex. Owners were in next condo and could not have been nicer. The condo is spacious for a family and the kitchen was well equipped. Pool area is lovely and the grounds are very well kept.

Last minute getaway with special dates instead of the normal Saturday to Saturday. Beautiful location. Loved the rooftop space. Brought a canopy for shade on the rooftop. Very accommodating through Seashore Rentals. Furniture was comfortable except for the beds. New mattresses would be nice. I would rent this again. Thank you for sharing!

Overall it was a very good vacation. The property location was excellent, the views were terrific and the living room furniture was very nice.

The rooms were large with the exception of the kitchen, the max occupancy was 2 people at a time but it worked out for us.

In general, the remaining furniture was good but the roof deck furniture needs some work with several pieces either torn or dirty and in need of some TLC. Even with this observation, the roof deck was a great place to hang out and enjoy the views.

The property was clean with the exception of the roof deck.

Seashore Vacation management company were excellent to work with. All things considered, we would rent the unit again.

Thanks to Buddy for the upgrade. We had our best vacation ever. Fix the front door though. Knowing the place you are renting was broke into doesn't make you leave for the day confident. Would love to rent the place again though. If it's cheaper.

Hilton Head was fun place to visit. Condo was somewhat disappointing part. Carpets very stained. Shower handle mechanisms need fixing or replacing. Two morning I couldn't get hot water in master bath. Top rack of dishwasher not stable. Top deck was awesome. Furniture was comfortable. All appliances worked great. Kitchen well equipped.

We have been to Hilton Head every summer for the last 10 years. This property was disappointing. The decor is old and dirty, esp. the furniture and linens. Mismatched furniture and poor quality kitchen appliances. Other major issue was the A/C. We never got the A/C below 75 and it was set on 70 the entire week. We spent $45.00 on fans. It was SO hot. View was nice, but NOT worth the price. We were NOT PLEASED!!
