Night Heron 62

Seashore associates were professional and attentive. The property was in a great location. Unfortunately the property wasn't particularly clean with dirty floors, grill, and cobwebs throughout the unit. I would recommend Seashore and this location, but not this particular property unless and/or until it has a true "deep clean".

The house was in a perfect location for walking to the beach and biking to both ends of the island.
Area was quiet and the lagoon allowed us to watch wildlife from the back porch. Had some minor issues with a faucet and smoke alarm which were
promptly addressed by the rental company. Pics make the house look a lot larger than it is but there was plenty of space for the 5 of us. Overall very pleased with the rental.

Our family of four stayed here on vacation and we absolutely loved it. The location is one of the best spots on the island. You are centrally located and only 5-7minute walk to get to the beach. There is a nice community pool and the home is a unique getaway. For a family of four or five, this home is perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with amenities. We would absolutely book again.

The location was great as for the home it was in need of a deep clean. There was moisture droplets running down the walls in the main bedroom and kitchen. We called because we were worried about the mold on the ceiling from the moisture.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're so glad you enjoyed the location, but we're very sorry to hear that the condition of the home fell short of your expectations. We appreciate you notifying us during your stay, and your concerns were taken seriously. During that time, our area experienced a stretch of intense rainstorms, which unfortunately revealed an issue we had not previously encountered. Although the roof was replaced in 2023, we discovered that the wood and flashing around the upstairs loft windows had become dated and cracked. This allowed moisture to penetrate and enter the unit. These areas have since been professionally recaulked and sealed to prevent any future water intrusion. Your feedback helped us identify and correct the problem, and for that, we’re truly grateful. We hope you’ll consider giving Seashore Vacations another opportunity in the future — we’d love the chance to provide you with the high-quality experience we’re known for.

We've stayed at this house two years in a row. It's a great spot for our family of 5. Plenty of room with a resilient feel for our crazy kids. Nice enough to enjoy, but not so nice I'm constantly worried about them breaking something. It's the perfect chill beach house.

We enjoyed a fabulous week at 62 Night Heron. This villa is conveniently located close to the beach, bike trails and restaurants/amenities in and near Sea Pines - The Beach Club, South Beach and Harbourtown. Restaurants enjoyed - Truffles, Reilley's, Mellow Mushroom and Charbar in the Harris Teeter plaza. The villa is nicely furnished with very comfortable beds. We recommend 62 Night Heron and the management company, who were very attentive to our needs. Excellent customer service.

Our family enjoyed staying at this rental. It had plenty of space for a family of 4 and was in walking distance to the beach and pool. We also were able to bike anywhere. We would like to go. Some of the kitchen equipment could use a refresh. And we could have used the code to the bathrooms at the pool. We had a drain problem in the master bathroom (which could also use an update) and the sliding glass doors to the porch, while usable were kind of hard to open and the screen was torn so it was not able to be used to keep out bugs. It was not a pristine and perfect rental, but it met the needs for a family for comfortable stay overall.

We had an excellent stay at this property. It was well-maintained, clean, and comfortable furnishings were provided. We enjoyed the wildlife at the lagoon, including alligators, anhingas, and a great blue heron and baby bird in nest over the water. Nice, quiet location. Nice walk to the beach. We would recommend this property.

First of all, Seashore Vacations is my go-to when booking a rental on the Island! The entire Seashore team are amazing, super helpful and curtious.
Night Heron was a lovely gem, and I've stayed at a number of different areas within Sea Pines. This is the perfect antidote to city living.
Perfect for a couple of couples, friends and I can see kids enjoying the loft upstairs.
Highly recommend this rental and the Seashore experience!!

Location was good but wall is so thin so snoring and talking in the next room could be heard too loud. No enough toilet papers(maybe $2-3) for $1300 rent. door to the deck cannot be open more than 1/4. pots and pans were all in bad quality(maybe got from garage sale).

We are disappointed to hear that you were not satisfied with Night Heron 62. However, there are some things in this review that need clarification for any future guests. First off, we are sorry to hear that you found the walls to be too thin. There is nothing unusual about any of the walls in this unit. They are just like any other walls you would find in any other condo, house or cottage. This is the first time we have heard of this as an issue and we do not agree with this assessment. As for the toilet paper, we provide a “starter pack” for all guests to use for the beginning of the stay as explained in the rental agreement. The starter packs include soap, dish detergent, laundry detergent, toilet paper, trash bags in all cans. bath soaps and a roll of paper towels. This starter pack is not intended to last for the duration of your stay and is complimentary. The starter supply is just that - a starter supply. You would need to bring additional supplies for the remainder of your stay or plan to pick some up at the grocery store while you are here. As for the slider, we were unaware of this during your stay. We have a maintenance team that is able to address/repair any issues that come up in our rental properties. However, we are unable to address any issues that we are not aware of and not brought to our attention. We do appreciate your feedback in this review and will certainly use it to make things better for future guests as 62 Night Heron is a really nice place to stay. For example - the pots and pans that you found to be unsatisfactory. Now that the busy season is over - we are taking time this winter to perform inventories in the properties and (in particular) the kitchens due to heavy use. It is necessary to replace and/or supplement many of the kitchen items to bring things back up to par. We like to do inventories when time permits to make sure everything in the home is in good condition. Again, thank you for your feedback.

First time visiting Hilton Head and we chose the PERFECT place to stay with this rental. Location was ideal: steps to the bike path, 3 min walk to beach, beautiful water view from back porch. The house itself was 10/10: new washer/dryer delivered while we were there, everything super clean, had AC, gas grill, dishwasher, and all we needed for a week in paradise. Loved it so much that we are planning to be repeat renters!!

overall Night Heron 62 was a great rental experience. The only issue we had was with the washer. It did not spin-dry the clothes very well even with the "max extraction" option being utilized. Clothes were still dripping wet. May be a malfunction with the unit. Unit was very clean and effecient.
