Lake Forest 3321

Seashore Rentals was very responsive and super nice! The unit itself was immaculate inside! Beautiful floors, gorgeous views, and an overall great time. Unit is close to the Forest Perserve and Red trolley stop and only a short 10-15 mins bike ride to the beach and Harbour Town. We will be back next year! Only recommendation would be to redo the back deck. It is stating to come apart in places.

Nice, quiet location in Sea Pines. Updates to the living area, bedrooms, and kitchen were very nice, including furniture, flooring and carpet, but further updates are needed to the bathrooms. Only showers had been updated. Management was very responsive to requests for assistance.

Our family who vacations in HHI for past 40 years spent our first time staying at Lake Forest - We had 3 units - All units have amazing views of lagoon in back yard behind the manicured maintained lawns off your deck.
Our Unit was decorated in a white open concept family area with two sofas closest to patio door.

The ceiling is vaulted in both family as well as dining areas and large white table capable of seating 8 - with 4 more bar style stools facing kitchen.
Both bathrooms very spacious with owner's bathroom having walk-in shower with heat lamps as you exit shower to dry.
Both bedrooms were spacious with wonder separate closet areas.
The deck has an amazing grill - which i took full advantage of - steaks, sausages,chicken vegetables and of corn �� ��.
The pool is a short walk out front door with tennis/pickleball adjacent.
We also took full advantage of our VayK beach gear credits, including orderingbeach chairsand bicycls - the kids would bike to both beach and HarborTown.
We were nervous about this unit after reading a scorching review - I can attest that that review is a total misrepresentation of what I spent 2 weeks vacationing in.
- - I recommend this quiet complex to all looking for a family vacay close to Main Gate, Beach Club and Lawton Stables - - I cant believe it took us 40 years to finally stop and feed the horses - we froze bananas and carrots and by the time we walked over they were perfect... at least the horses thought so!


Thank you Buddy and Team SeaShore Vacation! I had a note awaiting me with a grill utensils and an extra propane tank because I was so worried about that negative review and how important grilling on vacation is to me

Everything this place is beautiful! Wide open spaces and lovely landscaping! Just a short bike ride to Sea Pines Beach Club, and a short drive to grocery stores and the best restaurants on the island! Hosts were always quick to help and answer any questions! My family and I had a terrific stay and not a single complaint!

Excellent location with many activities to enjoy. The villa contues to have improvements as this was our third year renting for a month. Plenty of room with comfortable furnishings. Because of our length of stay, it was a little lacking in pots, pans, utensils as we love to eat at the restaurants but cooking in is our major meal time. Overall the villa is super for our needs and a starting place for enjoying Sea Pines and Hilton Head Island. We appreciate the owner's upgrades over the past few years and the great management by Buddy and Seashore Vacations.

We’ve rented MANY places throughout the years. This property, while adequate, is probably the least desirable we’ve ever rented.
We spoke to management-didn’t complain- just made our issues known. They seemed surprised at our expectations.
Here’s what we experienced:
The good:
This condo is south facing and for good light and faces a lagoon with lots of wildlife action. Fun! There was new flooring. The beds were very comfy. The proximity to the Preserve is wonderful.

Our disappointments include:
1. The outdoor grill was only unusable-corroded and rusty. Manager admitted it was only fit for the dumpster. A grill is advertised-we expected it. The deck is horribly warn with chipped paint. Very trashy looking, as were tall table and chairs. A bummer to have no usable deck furniture to enjoy the view.
2. When we rent on vacation, we cook. We enjoy it. The kitchen utensils and cookware were ancient. Warped pans with Teflon heavily scratched. The 1980 dishware had chips and scratches. 20 dull knives, no measuring cups, pizza cutters, Tupperware.
3. The bathrooms were partly remodeled but only 1 unusable shower due to trickling water pressure and the sinks and toilets were older and not well maintained.
4. The curtains had holes/ripped.
5. There was not one instruction in the house for anything. Took us 2 days to figure out the TV setup.

Overall the place was mostly clean but definitely not well maintained. The price we paid was reasonable and is the only reason we didn’t demand compensation for the significant shortcomings.

We feel that this review is overly critical and not in line with other prior reviews of the property. The owners of Lake Forest 3321 took the unit off of the rental market from 7/1/24 until 10/1/24 for a major renovation. Included in this renovation was replacement of the sub floor throughout the entire condo, new carpeting in both bedrooms, new luxury vinyl plank flooring in the remaining sections of the unit (entry hallway, kitchen, living room, primary bath and guest bath). Also included was a new walk in shower with surrounding glass in the primary bath as well as refurbishing of the guest bath including new tile in the tub/shower. This property was well received prior to the renovation project and (yes) we were surprised to receive this feedback from the guest during their stay given the recent investment made by the owners to further improve the guest experience in their property. In addition, one of the benefits of renting from Seashore Vacations is that we have staff available to handle maintenance as well as other issues. We keep an inventory at our office of kitchen utensils, pots & pans, measuring cups, food storage containers & much more. Cable & WiFi issues are very common service calls for us as it may not work the way it does at their own home or a member of their group could have gotten the system "off line" or on the wrong input. We are aware of that and available to address these type of issues in a timely manner with a simple phone call, email or text.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have been coming to Hilton Head for 10 years. This was one of the nicer places were stayed. We enjoyed the pond backing on the forest preserve. Seashore vacations communicated with us various time before during and after our stay which was very much appreciated.

New entry stairs and a new sofa bed in the living room made our stay enjoyable. Love the gas grill and quality of kitchen appliances. Being monthly+ renters, we settle in and treat the property as we would our home. Service from Seashore Vacations is always top notch with quick response time for the few minor questions we had this past month. Looking forward to returning to this villa in 2025.

We really enjoyed the experience with Seashore and our condo in Sea Pines. The unit sat on a lagoon which we enjoyed watching the natural inhabitants on a daily basis. We were unable to manage the remote for the TV, called the office and someone was there in 20 minutes to demonstrate in person. How about a personal touch these days. We will be back!

We loved the villa and how spacious and clean it was. The location was perfect and a very quiet area. The only thing we weren't too thrilled with was how old the curtains and carpeting was. Also, the area rug needs to be replaced. The villa has bikes, but they are not functional and were very dirty and tires had no air. Overall, the stay was wonderful and super comfortable. The villa is decorated nicely and no clutter at all. They did purchase a new sleeper sofa with a very nice mattress. I will be booking this villa in the near future again.

As a retired couple from Ohio we have enjoyed 11 long term winter rentals including Bonita Beach, Ft. Myers, The Villages in Florida and recently Hilton Head Island. Lake Forest 3321 and Seashore Vacations have been the best for a relaxing and worry free experience. All listed amenities and owner supplied comforts were spot on. It simply was a "no hassle" rental. We observed owner pride in their property and clearly want their guests to make this property feel like their own. Like many units that have multiple short term renters, some minor wear and tear is always expected. When we listed a few minor issues, they were immediately remediated. We have loved the island since 1980 and we would definitely love to rent this unit again for our annual multiple week winter escape. We thank the owners for making this property available as a rental unit. You could not go wrong renting this unit anytime during the year.

The condo had more space than what my husband and I needed. It was a very restful trip and we enjoyed the patio and watching the alligators. Having a grill was a plus that we used almost everyday.

Loved the property. My family and I had a great stay. Would return without hesitation.

We had one minor issue, Seashore Vacations contacted the owners and it was quickly resolved.
