Island Club 1106

Overall, loved the unit and would like the opportunity to stay there again.
Had some issues: 1.WIFI/Internet/TVs did not work upon arrival. Rich with HH Rentals was amazing to work with and work diligently to resolve the problems.
2.Shower heads were covered with black furry like substance that I had to clean. That was gross and made us feel the showers were not well cleaned.
3.While the cable issue was resolved, we had NO internet/wifi the entire time and had to hotspot from our phones to work. The TV in the guest bedroom was superimposed and not usable. I spoke to James at HH Rentals concerning a couple of issues. He was not helpful at all. I went through the app behome247 (requested to use) about the TV and nothing was done about that issue either.Understanding things can go wrong, the lengths in which Rich took to rectify issues was great. It would had been nice if the other issues were handled with the same care.

We thoroughly enjoy going to the Island Club yearly for a family vacation. This condo lived up to expectations, and was very comfortable for our larger family. Being on the first floor is wonderful, with walkout access to the beach, cornhole is steps away, and the grill is also right next to the beach shower area. You're five minutes tops from the sand! Also, it's in the end of the building and parking is thirty seconds away. Helpful with kiddos and packing up. The pool is five minutes' walk, as well as the playground and gazebo/deck. The condo itself is well kept and decorated nicely without too many breakable things; helpful for a family with little kiddos. Plenty of towels, adequate cookware, and a great supply of beach toys and even boogie boards and four chairs in the closet! Would like to come back next year. Just needs some deep popcorn bowls so we can enjoy a family movie.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The unit and its location were perfect for us. The only issue we had was that the garbage bags for the kitchen were so thin and flimsy that it was impossible to pull them out of the garbage can without them shredding. That seems petty but it was very hard to take the can and all out to the dumpster to dispose of garbage.

Location is excellent to reach all places on and off the island. The condo was very clean. Some silverware items need to be replaced as they were missing (teaspoons). Drains in sink and tub of guest bathroom drained slowly. Overall condo was good.

Since this unit was on the first floor it was especially convenient. The parking right by the door was perfect. The view from the balcony was serene and the wildlife we saw everyday was fun. ( birds, deer) the layout of the condo is nice. All one floor, master bedroom is quiet and private. It is clean and well equipped. The second bedroom is perfect for company and kids. We had a problem with the TVs and with one call to the company, it was taken care of that day and with a pleasant staff member. The company itself, is very attentive.
There is no water(ocean) view from the balcony but was a two minute walk to the beach. We loved it. Island Club has been a destination for us for many years. The entire property is amazing. Safe and many activities. A good location on the island. A definite good choice to stay. We love Island Club and the island itself.

We were very happy with our accommodations. The unit was very clean and attractive. We were just a short walk to the beach, and the beach could be seen from our unit. Lots of room for kids because the second bedroom has a queen bed plus bunk beds with a double on the bottom. The Updated appliances and a modern kitchen was great. I would stay there again.

I submitted a review on 4/18/23. Overall my family and I were pleased with the unit, the location within the resort and the resort itself. There were a few issues we encountered during our stay: TV in guest bedroom did not have cable hooked up and lacked a remote for the cable, no beach towels were provided as stated in the welcome letter, and the bathtub in the guest bathroom drained very slowly during our entire stay. I had left a email and voicemail regarding these issues on Sunday and I never received a response. Besides these issues, we did enjoy our stay and would use the rental services in the future.

Enjoyed our stay at this apartment very much. Just a few steps to the beach, to the pool, to the gym and to the tennis courts. Very clean and very well maintained, nice washer and dryer. Queen sleeper sofa in the den worked out great. Well equipped for seven people. With this being an end unit on the first floor, parking, loading and unloading the car is very convenient, especially with kids. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and for sure will come back in the summertime.

We enjoyed the Island Club very much! It has everything you need with no frills. There are a lot of tennis courts and I saw some outdoor games offered (think cornhole). The pool area is small but well maintained, and it offers a beautiful, private beach. The unit we stayed in was well furnished and updated, and the management company responded to our concerns over missing blinds and remotes that werent working properly. However, the unit was pretty dirty for the off-season and the unit location was a little misleading in our opinion. It is the furthest condo from the beach and based on some of the other reviews we believed the location to be much closer. Overall, I would choose a different unit if we stayed at the Island Club again.

Great location and walk to the beach. This location didn’t show a pull out couch but it did have one. Only thing I would change is to add a vacuum.

We held our family reunion at Island Club this year-9 families, 32 people! Many of us own in the Seawatch Timeshare building, so are familiar with the resort but I had not stayed in this building before. While it's peek-a-boo to see the ocean from this unit-it is a straight walk out of the back patio to see the sunrise or sunset. The pool area is almost right across the street from the front door, and carrying groceries and supplies in for the week is a straight shot. The decor was just as promised and very comfortable with lots of linens. While we had everything we needed in the kitchen, a welcome addition would be a blender, and I've come to appreciate having a hairdryer in most rental units. The only negative was that the terrific oversized kitchen trash can came with only one bag, which was an odd size. When I inquired about whether there were more in the unit, they suggested I buy a size that would work for me at home, but unfortunately 13 gallon bags would not fit around the rim of the trash can. Nice touches were the boogie boards and beach chairs for little ones. Communication was clear and timely. This was a perfect family vacation spot and I would recommend it.

From start to finish, renting this property was easy and everything went smoothly. The owners responded promptly when contacted. The property itself was exactly as advertised and was perfect for my family’s needs. I would recommend renting this property!!

This property had everything our family of 5 needed! Very close to parking so unloading/loading the car was a breeze. It sort of splits the difference between the pool and beach for walking but both were very manageable even with little kids and allll their things! My only negative comment is that there was *just* enough utensils/dishes/cups/etc in the kitchen for our 5 (ran the dishwasher nightly). If you are a larger group or more adults, you may need paper/plastic to supplement. Otherwise, it was perfect! Highly recommend!
