This charming two-story home with 4 bedrooms and 4 baths is located just one house away from the beach in the Sea Pines Resort. The main floor features an updated kitchen with a center island and breakfast bar, a dining room, a spacious living room with a large flat-screen TV and vaulted ceiling, and a screened-in porch. The first bedroom includes a queen and a double bed, a flat-screen TV, and a private bath with a shower. The second bedroom on the main floor has a queen bed, a double bed, and a twin bed and shares a hall bath with a tub/shower combo.

On the second floor, the master bedroom has a king bed, a flat-screen TV, and a private bath with a shower. The fourth bedroom is also on the second floor and is furnished with a king bed, a flat-screen TV, and a private bath with a tub/shower combo. This family-friendly home can accommodate up to 11 people and offers free Wi-Fi. Smoking is not allowed.

Exterior features include a private pool, a screened-in porch, and a spacious deck with an outdoor dining table. Guests can access the beach via the adjacent beach path just steps away. South Beach Marina Village is within walking distance, where guests can enjoy various activities such as a dolphin cruise, fishing charter, jet ski rental, or dine at popular eateries such as Salty Dog Cafe, the Wreck of the Salty Dog, Lands End Tavern, or Jake's Pizza. The private pool measures 12' x 20'.

Return to Hilton Head

We returned to HH this May after not having vacationed there in 5-6 years. We were with our 2 sons, 2 daughter’s-in-law and our 2 infant grandchildren. 3 Gadwall could not have been more perfect for us. The layout of the house is extremely conducive for the number of people/babies (naps/ups and downs at night for feedings, etc) happening. Plenty of privacy and quiet areas- and again, the perfect layout for our family. The outdoor space was fantastic. The pool was perfect in every way and we enjoyed every inch of the outside space- every day. Dinners on the deck, evening card play in the screened deck area (w/ lighting). A 2 minute walk from the beach- so easy w/ all our baby “stuff”, a 5 minute walk to the Salty Dog. We consider ourselves lucky to have found this property available. The rental staff was tremendous. We did reach out a few times and they were prompt and helpful w/their responses. They were really helpful with our departure, which was appreciated more than they could have known. We wouldn’t hesitate to use this rental company again, or to return to 3 Gadwall on a future trip to Hilton Head.

Ocean Waves

Loved having coffee and listening to ocean, great location and the family enjoyed Sea Pines very much. We will definitely come back again.

Great location

Great for our large family. Perfect location. Home was nice. Could probably use some upgrades; freezer, dryer, etc. The property management company was ok. Took a while to get someone out for an issue-but the woman who came out was great. When you call no one answers, they text you back. Prefer to use VRBO but the owners took it off. However, we Would rent this home again.

Fantastic Place! Location location location

Our family had a wonderful time at gadwall 3. Its about a minute walk to the beach, pool is excellent, well equipped kitchen, and everything was very clean. We had one very minor household issue and it was addressed within an hour. We can’t wait to go back!

Family Time on Gadwall

We had a lovely stay at 3 Gadwall. Great house and location to beach is fantastic. Room for time together playing games, enjoying each other as well as room for quite time and rest.

Great Family Stay Steps from Beach

House was clean. Front door code worked on first try. Parking spaces were convenient. Pre-visit emails to property mgmt. were returned immediately with great service. Very limited view of bay. Paved pathway to beach - maybe 50 yards to see water. Another 20 to beach. Very convenient walk to Salty Dog area; 15 minute drive to go anywhere else. Would stay again.

Guests of Gadwall 3 can walk to the beach in less than 1 minute. The house is right on the beach path!
