Quite Home Away from Home

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The Airbnb was clean, the property was quiet and well maintained, and we felt safe with all the security measures in place. The location is a bit off the beaten path: shopping was about 15-20 minutes away, and Disney was about 300-45 minutes away depending on traffic. If you don't mind driving, it's a great place to stay.

Great Experience but gate entrance

Overall the experience was great, the unit was as described and the amenities at the place are excellent. The only complaint i had was Monday night at the gate. We came from highway 27 trying to turn left into complex around 8:15pm and we waited 20 minutes with no security directing traffic. It got heated at gate with people getting out trying to get into complex and finally security showed up and started doing there job after 30 minutes of long lines.

Considering this was out last night at complex, this left

Very nice place

The condo was in great condition, nicely decorated, well stocked with essentials (dishes, coffee maker, iron, beach towels, etc.) and was well cleaned. Resort pool and common areas were well kept and managed. Initial vehicle check-in process is ridiculously slow and manual, but otherwise the stay was hassle free and excellent.

Winter getaway

We rented this townhouse for a week long getaway from winter. This place was amazing and as advertised. It was so close to the resort pool and activity area. It was clean and the host remained in contact the entire time to ensure we had a great stay. Dinner at Giovanni’s Pizzeria and Kitchen just a short walk up the road is a must.

We’d love to host you again whenever you're ready for another escape from winter. Safe travels, and we hope to welcome you back soon!

Perfect property for a family of 4 (or more)

The property was tastefully furnished and well equipped.
Photos don’t do justice to the size of the place. All the rooms are large and the living area (kitchen, dining, lounge) is huge. 4 of us had more than enough room and we were very comfortable.

The resort’s pool complex was also really good, and perfect to relax in.

The resort’s pool complex itself is also safe and secure, with plenty of open space and ample parking.

A family getaway

The place was perfect for us. We have two girls and they loved having a themed room. Another family came with us and their boys loved the Star Wars room. There is plenty of room for us to have our own space. The backyard pool was used almost every day. Great space for a getaway

Great place to stay!

Great resort villa! This villa was very clean and in a great location to the main pool. We enjoyed floating around the lazy river and the slides. The “theme” rooms were so cute. Plenty of room for everyone to relax. The pool was perfect! We did pay extra for heat and it was worth it. Nice place to relax!!

perfect family getaway

Really enjoyed our stay with our kids and granddaughter. She loved the Stitch themed bedroom. The villa was very clean and within walking distance to the resort pool. The private pool was an added bonus. The kitchen needed a few more items like cookie sheets but overall it was fine. Nicely decorated. The property management company was awesome. Answered any questions promptly. We had an issue on Sunday and left a message to have someone come Monday and maintenance showed up right away on Sunday and fixed it! Very impressed. It’s a great place for families and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful home

This home is great for families with young children. The themed rooms were great and the pool was refreshing on the hot summer days. We look forward to returning in the future

Great location

Overall was good, we like the location it was our third visit. Only negative was next door is a rental location and they have a tv by the pool which was on loud till 3am in the morning on a few occasions.
We had 1 issue when the power had tripped but the breaker is in cleaning cupboard but the management team had someone there within 2 hours and sorted.

Thank you for your kind review, Barry! We are so thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your visit and appreciate you choosing Blue Sky Villas to host your stay again! We are very sorry to hear about the issue with a noise disturbance next door. Unfortunately, we are only the property manager for this home and do not have authority over noise disturbances, however our guests can always reach out to the local sheriff's office or resort roving patrol to report disturbances - we are so glad to hear that you overall enjoyed your stay, and that we were able to quickly restore power to that breaker. Fantastic Stay!

We very much enjoy our stay! My children LOVED the Star Wars and Lilo and Stitch themed rooms. The villa was clean and the pool was a plus! Location was close to everything. Resort was friendly and resort amenities were fantastic! Will definitely be back next year!

Winter break in warm Orlando

The property is immaculate! Well decorated and designed rooms, amazing pool area, all amenities needed (we even found a basketball, some pool accessories and pool towels available). Looks better in person than online. You will find everything you need. The resort is also amazing, with the only complaint that facilities close early (6pm in February) and it gets quiet and lonely. Safe location, and relatively close to Disney, but a bit far from airport and other parks.

We loved everything about our stay at Windsor Island. Great communication, easy check-in and out, unit was exactly as described and amenities were very convenient to the location of the unit. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking to stay in this area.

Amazing Home for our Family Vacation

Our family of 8 stayed here for 12 days and absolutely loved the home and resort. The kids enjoyed staying upstairs in the fun, themed rooms and having an extra living room in the loft to hang out in at night. The pool was also a big hit for everyone (our kids range in age from 9-24). I was able to cook all kinds of meals in the huge kitchen that had everything we needed. The resort was equally great especially since it was just a short walk across the street. Playing basketball, mini-golf and free arcade games in the game room kept everyone busy when they weren't lounging by the pool and lazy river. Shopping was easy with Publix just a few minutes away and Walmart about 10 minutes. The location was also ideal for all the fun places you'd want to visit in the Orlando area. Over the past 20 years, we've stayed at about 10 different resorts in the area and this is our favorite! We hope to stay here again!

Disney vacation for the kids

It was the first time our kids have ever been to Disney and this villa topped it off! It was great to keep the Disney theme going once we got back to the villa. The private pool was also nice to relax in after those long warm days at the park. We loved this vacation and will recommend to our family and friends!

Family trip

We were looking for a place for our family to stay for our annual Disney trip and this home hit the spot! The resort is super awesome - very new and clean and the amenities are perfect for all ages. We loved the space of the home and never felt overcrowded. We would book this home again

Lilo & Stitch

Our daughter's favorite movie is Lilo & Stitch and when we saw this home we were so excited to surprise her with this trip. She was so excited when she stepped into the room and begged us to paint her room just like it. It was the perfect vacation!

Great family vacation

Awesome stay with the kids themed rooms. The kids did not want to leave their rooms! It was the perfect place for our family trip to Disney. We loved the resort amenities - it was great to occupy the family when we weren't at the parks. 10/10 recommend

Nice stay

We stayed over Thanksgiving week. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Lots of little things that took away from it being better. Here are some of our obeservations:

Pro's:

1. Comfortable mattress and pillows
2. Pool is a cozy temp when heated and nice to have with the kids
3. Nice cooking pots and pans
4. Nice size for multiple families/large group
5. Internet works well
6. Excellent community amenities and a 1 minute walk from unit
7. Excellent pool area staff
8. Quick response time from blue sky villas

Con's:
1. Non drying dryer
2. Dishes
1. Plates not microwave friendly - I burned my hand trying to heat up leftovers
2. No baking dishes
3. No casserole dishes
4. No mixing bowls
5. No measuring spoons.
3. No network channels to be able to see Thanksgiving Football.
4. No sponges for dishwashing.
5. Bathroom dirty upon check in
6. Not enough towels
7. Dishwasher doesn’t clean well
8. In unit vacuum barely works
9. No pool towels
10. No coasters to protect furniture
11. No extra toilet paper
12. Horrible bathroom mats - slip hazard for kids and older adults
13. No hand soap - mini hand soap only
