Beachwalk 209

This three bedroom condo has recently been renovated, and includes stylish furniture, top notch mattresses, and tasteful decor. The bathrooms were elegant . Lots of space for a large group.
Location is in the back of Beachwalk so walk to beach is about a mile. Loved the convenience of rental beach gear provided by Vayklife. Pool was clean and had plenty of chairs but needs more tables.

Great location and company to work with, but the cleanliness of the place was questionable. Sofa bed had used linens and blankets when opened (this was the most off putting) and locating clean ones was challenging. after seeing used linens we weren’t sure what was clean and what could be dirty. Luckily we eventually spotted sheets in a bag that were clearly clean and unused. Huge cockroaches were spotted twice as well (which while I can understand a few bugs these were gigantic roaches and more than 1). Patio door did not work and the furniture was so dirty it was unusable you could tell it had not been cleaned or used in quite some time. Dishwasher had used soap still in it (the latch must not have opened from the previous cycle). Front door does not close properly either (not a huge deal as we figure out the trick to the latch but I can see how easily bugs get in because the door does not latch). The front door rug is weathered torn and ripped, as a first impression it’s not appealing. Overall this unit could be great but missed the mark unfortunately. Having rented property for over 10 years in Shipyard this was one of the most disappointing in terms of cleanliness.

For future guests considering this property, we would like to provide additional context regarding the concerns raised in this review. The cleanliness issues mentioned are not representative of the standards we strive to provide and have been addressed directly with our cleaning company. The bag of linens referenced in the review contained clean, freshly laundered sofa bed linens; however, the housekeeping team should have removed the previously used sheets from the sleeper sofa prior to arrival, and this matter has been addressed with them. Since this stay, the carpets and upholstery have been professionally cleaned, the patio furniture has been washed, and the issue with the door latch has been corrected. The dishwasher concern was also related to the detergent latch not opening during the previous cycle and has been addressed. As with all properties on Hilton Head Island, occasional palmetto bugs can make their way indoors despite routine pest control treatments, particularly during the warmer months. While we understand that any sighting can be unpleasant, it is unfortunately a common part of our coastal environment and does not indicate a lack of cleanliness. This owner takes great pride in their villa and continues to invest in ongoing updates and improvements throughout the property. We appreciate guest feedback, as it helps us identify areas for improvement, and we want future guests to know that the concerns raised in this review have been addressed and that both the owner and Seashore Vacations remain committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable vacation experience.

Of all the Seashore Vacation properties we have stayed in, this was the least favorite. It was not filthy but definitely not what we were accustomed to in previous stays. There had been very nice updates in the kitchen but many more are needed throughout the unit. The carpet was stained, air return did not appear clean and there was a musty smell upon arrival. We had a great week in spite of these things. The unit was well stocked with everything we needed. I think with a few more updates and deep cleaning this unit could be a great place. The location was great!

Beachwalk 209 was a perfect place for our family to spend Thanksgiving. The condo was clean and very well equipped. The two living areas provided extra room and gave the grandkids their own space. We loved the bike paths and the short walk to the beach! Having a bathroom for every bedroom was a definite plus as well.

This is a lovely, newly-decorated, condo close to the beach. The condo itself & the surrounding properties were immaculate. The property management company was responsive to our needs: sending out an HVAC technician to immediately repair the heat pump which was not working when we arrived. Are planning to stay there again!

We arrived to the condo when it was a rainy week. We were excited to find the kitchen was well equipped with all of the items we needed for cooking! The condo is decorated nicely and offers many extras. The condo itself is amazing. I would suggest a new rental/cleaning company!!! We arrived and it was clean on the surface. There were many issues from fruit flies in the fridge, dog hair in all corners and under furniture, dirty pantry with food crumbs, etc. Then we noticed some unwanted things and reached out to the rental company expecting a return message on Monday and never got a reply. The beautiful furniture on the deck had the pillows tossed everywhere, soaking wet. The grill cover was full of debris and water on the ground and the grill soaked. It is awful to see such nice amenities offered and the rental company is not taking care of them. Again, we loved our week in the condo.

Everything was as expected. Stove handles was broken. The vacuum cleaner did not work very well. The place was cleaned when we arrived.

This property was perfect for our family of six. We took our daughter, son in-law, and two grandsons. The space was just right. It was a very quiet location and so convenient to the bike path which we utilized everyday. The unit was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. Would highly recommend this property and would love to stay here again.

Plesently surprised when we arrived to find that unit was recently remodeled. Unit was very clean and well appointed. Kithen was stocked with everything you could need. nice location with easy ten minute walk to beach. Highly recommend Seashore Vacations for there professional service and ease of doing busines with.

We originally were booked into 125 Beachwalk, which is next to the pool, and a 7 minute walk to the beach. We were notified the week of our trip that there was a problem with 125, and we were being moved to 209. The house was comfortable, but we were expecting to be closer to the pool and beach, which is why we chose 125 in the first place. This property was as far back as you could get on Beachwalk. We ended up having to drive to the beach because it was too far to lug all of our chairs, umbrellas, cooler, etc. Deck was very small and super cluttered - we couldn't sit out there if we wanted to because it was so overcrowded with furniture and tables and stuff. Beds and furniture inside were very comfortable, unit was clean and bright.

Good location if you like going to the beach every day like us. Very comfy beds and the separation of the two sitting rooms is nice. The back patio is a little crowded with all the stuff already out there for my family of 5 to sit out there it felt too small but maybe with less stuff it would be better. Overall a nice stay.

We had six ladies spend the weekend and everything was just fine. The only feedback I have is to get rug tape for the rugs and to replace the cooktop so the controls are not in the front. The knobs are easily able to be accidentally pushed because the stove is located on the island and everyone leans over or walks by constantly.

Overall a great trip. The decor was beautifully done. We love the proximity to the beach. There were just a few things the I want to mention are the sky lights in the master were quite bright I wish there was a way to keep the room dark. Also the a/c vent in the master rattles and made it difficult to sleep. Also was did receive any trash bags in the unit.

Honestly these things were not that big of a deal just thought I would let you know. The furniture was comfortable with plenty of space for everyone.
