Captains Walk 415

Captains Walk #415 is a great place to stay while in HHI. The view is amazing and beach access could not be easier. The property is well maintained with close proximity to tennis and pickleball facility. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

My friend and I enjoyed our stay. The condo was in a perfect location and had everything we needed. The only minor complaint would be that it needed some updating with the decor. Overall it was very comfortable.

The unit we stayed in was nicely decorated and well furnished. The proximity to the beach was fantastic. My only complaint with the actual unit is the commode seat in the master bath was broke and someone tried repairing it versus buying a new one. Please, splurge the $40 in a new seat. It literally takes 2 hands to raise/lower the lid. Also, the secondary bath tub drain is slow. You end up standing in a few inches of water when showering. Beyond that, the unit was great. Those are. It’s easy fixes. We did notice sand in the sheets prior to us ever getting in the bed. Kind of an uneasy feeling.... As far as the complex, the groundskeepers do a wonderful job at maintaining the property. The complex needs to stay on top of the pest control for the actual building though. We did observe roaches in the stairwell (as we seldom used the elevator). That has nothing to do the actual unit though! The deer grazing out back was a nice surprise.

The view from the condo was great, the space was smaller but fit our family of 4 just right! Everything was there that we needed. My only recommendation would be to have higher chairs on the porch do you could see the beach without looking through the railing!!

The condo is beautiful, has great views, was very clean at arrival and is convenient to many things on Hilton Head Island. We would certainly stay here again. The property management company was just great! Arrival to pick up parking passes went well and when a minor issue came up, they came and addressed it within hours.

The condo was wonderful and we wd come again. we had our problems with sea turtle getaways.. they sent us to a condo that had someone already in it! also they mailed us only one pass , then argued ( after we got there) that we couldnt have another!

Overall a great place to stay! Great location. Easy pool
And beach access. Unit was clean and pleasing to the eye. Plenty of drawers and closets to store items. Palmetto Dunes is great for running or biking along fully shaded trails. WiFi throughout the resort is weak. Was difficult to sustain phone calls, or use internet without it lagging.

Beautiful condo. Wonderful location, great pool, and steps from the beach. The condo was very clean and I had no complaints at all. I would suggest maybe a couple of rugs on the way in to catch some of the sand I brought back with me. I would rent this unit again!

I agree with many of the previous reviews. Overall, the property has alot of potential. But it is in need of some major TLC. Captain's Walk is great and I would stay in the complex again, just not in this unit.

Thank you for your review! You will be happy to know that the owners have already put in a new king headboard, microwave, and had the side window panel replaced.. By the end of January, there will be a new dining room table, refrigerator, full/double headboards, and all new mattresses... They are considering changing a few more things, but they are not a definite yet! We do hope to see you back again.. You may like the updates! Selena

The ocean views from this property were amazing and we loved the very short walk to the beach. The unit was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The bathrooms were in need of updating but were functional.
The Palmetto Dunes location is so accessible to dining and attractions on Hilton Head and we are already talking about renting this unit again.

Great location and view. Rental company was organized and responsive. Unit had a musty odor upon entry which improved after wet swiffering the floor. Second bathroom sink was slow to drain. Couches were in good condition, beds were average to slightly below average

We enjoyed our stay at 415 again this year. We hope to be able to return next year. The only problem is that the ceiling paint was peeling. Wonderful vacation spot. Very convenient short walk to the to the beach. Beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. We saw dolphins every day. Clean and comfortable. air conditioning worked well! My only complaint was the stovetop burners did not all function and the kitchen sink water pressure was very low. Overall great vacation experience.

415 Captains Walk is in a great location and has a wonderful ocean front view and pool. The management company was very pleasant to work with. The only thing that would have made our stay better is if the kitchen and bathrooms were updated. They need a facelift - formica countertops and old appliances, no granite. It was very clean, but a bit dated. We were told this when we made the reservation, so it was not a surprise. I would recommend this villa.

We spent 2 weeks in March enjoying this well kept ocean front condo. The location is perfect for beach activities, biking, kayaking the inland waterways or strolling through the large and beautiful resort area of Palmetto Dunes. The condo itself was a relaxing place to unwind. Nothing like going to sleep to the sounds of the ocean!

We had to change plans at last minute. Because of Hurricane Michael. We had friends coming from Germany the one request was we want to go to beach. They loved it the views from the condo. The beach was nice. A really good experience

The vacation rental experience was absolutely fine as it always is with Sea Turtle Getaways. We have always received excellent service from Renee, Kay, Crane at STG and will certainly use them again. This year our stay was cut short because of the mandatory evacuation order issued on Monday Sept 10th due to Florence. We had 2 guests from out of the country staying with us and they became concerned about the evacuation order and the weather reports. We left on Tuesday morning only to find out when we arrived in Marietta that the evacuation order had been lifted while we were in transit. Disappointed and sad as the property, beach and weather were just great for the 3 days that we were there.

We were so happy with this rental. The view from the private balcony was superb. The beach and pool was perfect, not crowded at all. The building was quiet. The location was great. You can walk to a store, to dinner, bike rental, etc.

We have stayed at Captain's Walk before and were excited to come back. You just can't beat the direct, oceanfront view that every building in the complex enjoys. The grounds are beautiful; the pool is very beautiful at night. The only suggestion I'd make is ceiling fans for the bedrooms.
