Forest Beach Vacation Rentals

The villas and condos in Forest Beach offer from 1 to 3 bedrooms and offer pools for guest use. Homes feature 3-7 bedrooms, most with private pools. 

Forest Beach is ideal for many visitors since you can park your car during your stay and forget it. You can walk or bike easily to Coligny Plaza which offers more than 60 different shops and restaurants including the Piggly Wiggly (grocery store) along with a small movie theater.

A centerpiece of the area is the Coligny Beach Park with free beach parking on the other side of Forest Beach (entrance off of Pope Avenue). This beautiful park has a wonderful interactive water feature that some kids like better than the actual ocean. There are covered swings and a picnic area along with Wi-Fi access, restrooms, and outdoor showers. This beach access is probably the busiest beach area on the island so in the middle of the summer it will be crowded but it is a great people watching venue! Next to the Beach Park is the famous Tiki Hut bar at The Beach House (formerly the Holiday Inn) and its beach volleyball courts if you are feeling energetic. Further down S. Forest Beach is the Alder Lane Beach access with 24 metered parking spaces restrooms and outdoor showers. Pool Bar Jim's is another popular spot featuring cool, icy cocktails. You'll find Pool Bar Jim's at the Seacrest villas where you will be welcomed with open arms. 

Hilton Head, of course, is known for golf and you can find it close by in Shipyard or Sea Pines but if you are looking for tennis, well then the world famous Van Der Meer Tennis Center with 17 hard courts (4 covered and lit) is right off of DeAllyon Avenue in the heart of S. Forest Beach.  The entrance to Sea Pines is at the end of South Forest Beach Drive where there is a whole other world of activities. (daily car passes can be purchased at the gate)
