Floor to ceiling windows line the living room, which has comfortable furniture, a fireplace, plus a large flat screen TV with DVD player. The formal dining room seats 6, and is adjacent to the gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, a 5 burner stove, sub-zero refrigerator/freezer, a wet bar with an extra ice maker, and a door leading to the covered patio with gas grill. The kitchen is open to the family room, which has comfortable casual seating, TV, breakfast table seating 8, huge windows, and sliding glass doors to the deck and pool*.
One of the 2 master suites is on the main floor, and furnished with a king-sized bed, TV and access to the pool deck as well as a large private bath with double vanities, a large soaking tub, separate water closet, and a large walk-in closet. A second full bath is also located in the master bedroom complete with a walk-in shower and large closet. Up a short flight of stairs is a large bedroom with 2 double beds, a sitting area, TV, and private bath with tub/shower combination, and up another short flight of stairs are 2 more bedrooms. One has 2 twin beds, a private sitting deck with marvelous ocean views, a TV, large closet, and a private bathroom with tub/shower combination, while the other bedroom has a king-sized bed, TV with DVD player, large windows providing splendid views of the rolling sea, and a private bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Up one more flight of stairs is the second master suite with a king-sized bed, flat screen TV, private oceanfront balcony, and large master bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, glassed-in shower, dual vanities and a separate water closet. Of course laundry facilities are included along with free wireless internet access.
A special amenity for guests is a free hour of court time at South Beach Racquet Club, which also offers a variety of clinics and lessons and is located in Harbour Town. Next door is Harbour Town Golf Links, where the PGA holds its annual RBC Heritage Tournament. Two other golf courses are nearby in Sea Pines, the Heron and Ocean, which offer challenges to golfers of all levels. For a bit of time on the water, there are two marinas, South Beach and Harbour Town, which offer boat rentals as well as excursions from sailing on the America's Cup winning boat "Stars and Stripes" to a sunset dinner cruise on Calibogue Sound. South Beach has shops and restaurants along the water's edge, as does Harbour Town, where there is a wide variety of restaurants and entertainment. Additional shops and restaurants are also at nearby Sea Pines Center.
