Nestled among live oaks on a quiet South Forest Beach street just 3 houses away from the rolling waves of the Atlantic Ocean, this 5 bedroom, 3 1/2 bathroom elevated home provides a restful setting for a family vacation and can accommodate up to 12, plus the family dog* . Generously proportioned, the main floor has a living room with vaulted ceilings, skylight, and comfortable seating. The dining room, which can accommodate 8, has a glass door to the large deck, which has a hot tub that may be heated for an additional charge**. The large, open kitchen is fully equipped and the den has a large flat screen TV.

Three bedrooms are on the main level. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, flat screen TV, and en suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and flat screen TV, while the third bedroom has 2 twin beds and a TV, and both use the hall bathroom. On the second floor of the home are 2 more bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed and flat screen TV, while the other has 2 twin beds. Both have access to the hall bathroom. There is also a second den on this floor with a sleeper sofa, flat screen TV, and a game table. Also included are laundry facilities and free wireless internet access.

Challenge family members or friends to tennis matches at Shipyard Racquet Club, part of the Van Der Meer Tennis Center. Golfers can try any of the three 9-hole courses in Shipyard Plantation, or drive the short distance to Sea Pines Plantation and try one of the three courses there. There are also 2 marinas in Sea Pines, South Beach and Harbour Town, where motor and sail boats and kayaks can be rented along with jet skis. Also offered at the marina are excursions for dolphin watching, tours of nearby Daufuskie Island, or fishing. Bikes are readily available for rent and a great way to get around including the short ride to Coligny Plaza, which has over 60 shops and an array of restaurants, or go up Pope Avenue to Park Plaza which has a more restaurants, grocery store, and a movie theater.
