Nestled among tall, long-leaf pines, this delightful 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bathroom Hilton Head Rentals & Golf home in the gated Sea Pines Plantation community is only 2 rows from the beach and provides glimpses of the ocean from the back decks. Just a short walk from South Beach Marina, this open and inviting home can accommodate 10.
The mid or entry level has three bedrooms; one of 2 master bedrooms, with a king-sized bed and TV with private bathroom including separate shower and tub, and the other two with 2 twins each, which share a bath. All the rooms have huge windows as well as sliding glass doors to the balcony which surrounds most of the house. There is also a sitting room with a sleep sofa and TV, and full laundry room on this level.
Upstairs is the main living space, with high ceilings, large windows, and open floor plan. The living room has ample comfy seating, large flat screen TV with Blu-ray player, fireplace, and wall-to-wall glass sliding doors to the porch, which overlooks the kidney shaped pool encompassed by a brick paved patio with built-in seating, an outdoor shower, gas grill, and tables and chairs. Fully equipped, the kitchen has an island along with a glassed-in breakfast nook with seating for 8. The dining area also provides seating for 8. There is also a half bath on this level and the master bedroom with a king-sized bed, flat screen TV in an armoire, large sliding glass doors to an open porch with rockers, and a spacious private bath including a separate shower and large soaking tub. Wireless internet access is provided.
For a day at the beach, take the short walk to the broad sandy beach which stretches the length of the island. Take the short stroll to South Beach Marina where guests can arrange to para-sail, or take a zodiac in search of dolphins. The Salty Dog provides a good spot to enjoy a meal and watch boats slip in and out of the marina, or browse the shops along the water's edge. Also nearby are tennis courts for a little racquet time, or rent a bike and explore the natural beauty and wildlife of Sea Pines, following paths beneath lovely live oaks and meandering around lazy lagoons where alligators like to sun themselves. For a bit of golf, there are three courses to choose from within Sea Pines, all challenging. For a change of pace, head to Harbour Town, where there are shops along the marina, live entertainment beneath the Liberty Oak, and a variety of restaurants.
