The kitchen was recently updated with granite counter-tops and opens to the living/dining area with a flat screen TV, sleep sofa, and has sliding glass doors to the balcony overlooking the pool, wide span of beach and seemingly infinite vista of sea and sky. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed and shares access with the bathroom which has a combination tub/shower. Amenities include free internet access and one parking space. The Breakers does not have an elevator.
Oceanfront, guests can enjoy the large pool, heated seasonally, and smaller children's pool with an ample patio for sunbathing. Coligny Plaza, with over 60 shops and a variety of restaurants as well as a movie theater is just across the street. Bike rentals are nearby, and a great way to explore the beach, which runs the full 12 mile length of the island. Tennis court time can be reserved at Van Der Meer Tennis Centers in Shipyard Plantation, just up Pope Ave., or at South Beach or Sea Pines Racquet Clubs, both located in Sea Pines Plantation. Three golf courses are also located within Sea Pines including Harbour Town Golf Links, where the PGA holds its RBC Heritage Tournament every spring. For deep sea fishing or a day sailing, there are 2 marinas in Sea Pines and one at Shelter Cove. Or arrange for a kayak nature tour through one of several companies that lead excursions along Broad Creek.
