Vacation Property Overview
This lovely Charleston style pastel colored 6 bedroom, 4 1/2 bathroom Hilton Head Rentals & Golf home, one of several houses available to rent on this street, has a joyous tropical decor. The main floor, located one flight up is lined with a long porch to with another long porch across the upper level front. There are two living areas on the main floor, one more intimate with TV and near the front, and the larger living room at the back of the house with a generous L-shaped sofa, fireplace, and a large flat screen TV mounted above the mantel with DVD. The dining area has an ample oak table that seats 8, and sliding glass doors to the small back balcony with propane grill overlooking the large pool with dolphin fountain and patio with sitting area and chiminea. The bright, open kitchen has plenty of counter space and a breakfast bar that seats four, and is adjacent to the laundry room and next to the half bath.
Through french doors, there is a master bedroom with a king-sized bed and en suite bath On the second level, are 5 more bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have 2 twin beds and share a full bath located in the hall. Another bedroom, with a twin bed and queen-sized bed, shares a bath with a bedroom that has a king-sized bed and sliding doors to the front porch. A second master bedroom with handsome furniture including a king-sized bed has a private bath as well as sliding doors to the front porch. All bedrooms have flat screen TVs. In addition to wireless internet access provided, a pool table along with various beach and pool toys can be found in the ground level garage. And remember you can bring Spot too (for an additional fee).
To find the beach, head the few minute walk to the end of the street, through the park and playground along the elevated boardwalk to the wide, white sandy beach which runs the length of Hilton Head Island. To be on, rather than in the water, visit Shelter Cove Marina, just a short distance south on Rt. 278, and make arrangements to try a little fishing expedition or follow the dolphins as they weave in and out of the marshes lining Broad Creek and Calibogue Sound looking for a repast. There are also restaurants and shops along the marinas edge. For tennis, there are public courts at Chaplin Park. Golf tee times can be made at Port Royal Plantation, just a little bit north on Hilton Head Island, which has 3 courses. For a bit of shopping, try Port Royal Plaza, Northridge Plaza, which has a movie theater, or Pineland Station for additional restaurants and shops, all located north on Hwy 278.
