Located less than a 3 minute walk from the beach and Coligny Plaza, this classic 5 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath Hilton Head Rentals & Golf home in North Forest Beach is ideal for gathering the clan for vacation. With high ceilings and hardwood floors, the home has been freshly painted in natural shades. The living room has comfortable seating including a sleeper sofa, a fireplace with a large, flat screen TV above, and lovely arched windows framing the setting of live oaks, tall pines and palmettos. The fully equipped kitchen has a center island and adjoins the nicely appointed dining room.
Also on the first floor is a sunny den with sleep sofa and TV, a half bath, and the master bedroom with king-sized bed and en suite bath with a spa tub. The other 4 bedrooms are on the second floor. One can serve as a second master bedroom with kin-sized bed and private bath. Each of the other 3 bedrooms have 2 twin beds and share a bathroom. There's also a laundry on the second floor and wireless internet is available throughout.
Entertainment starts on the generous deck with gas grill which surrounds the pool and spa*. The garage has been transformed into a game room complete with ping pong as well as foosball tables. For shopping and restaurants, just walk to Coligny Plaza, which boasts more than 60 shops and has a movie theater. The closest golf courses are located nearby in Shipyard Plantation and Sea Pines, or just a little further north on Rt. 278 are 3 more courses in Palmetto Dunes. Tennis court time can be reserved at the Van der Meer Tennis Center in Shipyard Plantation, or at Sea Pines Resort in Sea Pines Plantation. To spend a little time on the water, rent a kayak and explore the amazing wildlife that inhabits the marshes lining Broad Creek or Calibogue Sound, go for a zodiac ride in search of dolphins, or arrange for a sunset dinner cruise at South Beach or Harbour Town marinas in Sea Pines Plantation, or follow Rt. 278 north to Shelter Cove Marina.
