South Beach has many shops, restaurants, seasonal live entertainment, and the Marina offers boating, fishing, and water sport excursions. Guests will want to spend all of their time at South Beach, but consider renting bikes and traverse through all that nature has to offer on the miles of bike paths. Head to Harbourtown to see the famous lighthouse, playgrounds, shopping, and dining. Or bike or drive to Lawton Stables to ride horses or visit the petting farm. If tennis is more you cup of tea, head to the Sea Pines Racquet Club for court time, lessons, or clinics. Golfers will enjoy three courses within the Plantation, including the Harbourtown course, which hosts the annual Heritage Golf Tournament each April.
