Close to the Beach Club in the gated community of Shipyard Plantation, this 1 bedroom, 2 bath Hilton Head Rentals & Golf villa has been freshly remodeled inside and out to provide a stylish hub for a splendid island getaway. Located on the second floor, the villa's living area decorated in a nautical motif has comfortable furnishings including a sleep sofa, well cushioned wicker chairs and a fireplace with a large flat screen TV above. Sliding glass doors along the living and dining areas open to a wraparound deck protected by graceful oaks, tall long leaf pines and palmettos. In the dining area is a glass table and chairs for 4, and a pass through to the fully equipped kitchen, which is well lit by 2 skylights and has granite counter-tops and breakfast bar.
The spacious bedroom has a king-sized bed, a couch, and TV and the en suite bath has black granite counter-tops, stone tile flooring, and a large, tiled shower. The second full bathroom also has stone tile floors and granite counter-tops plus a tiled shower. Of course wireless internet access is provided.
The Shipyard Beach Club is just a short walk away via The Beachwalk resort walk and biking path. Should fresh water be a preference, the complex pool is less than a minute's walk from the villa. For a little tennis, Shipyard's Van Der Meer Ttennis center offers a choice of hard or clay courts. There are 3 9-hole courses within Shipyard Plantation to tackle, and for some time on the water jet skiing, sailing, or taking a dolphin watch cruise, there are a several marinas nearby: Broad Creek located just down Pope Ave. toward the north end of the island, and South Beach and Harbour Town, both located in Sea Pines Plantation. Shopping and restaurants are also plentiful and located nearby. Coligny Plaza, just down Pope Ave. toward the beach, has more than 60 shops and restaurants plus a movie theater. There are additional shops and restaurants in Park Plaza Shopping Center, just before the entrance to Sea Pines Plantation.
