Completely handicap friendly, the house has extra wide hallways and doorways as well as a ramp on the pool deck leading to the hot tub. Recently renovated and painted in shades of driftwood gray, there are hardwood floors throughout, custom made furniture and lovely personal touches throughout. On the first level of the house, in addition to the living room, dining room, and chef's kitchen, all with seaside vistas through walls of glass, is the master suite with king-sized bed and en suite bathroom.
The second floor has 5 bedrooms in addition to the living room and mini kitchen/wet bar which open onto a generous veranda running the length of the house with a staircase down to the patio and pool. The second floor master suite has a king-sized bed, en suite bathroom, and door to the veranda and superb beach and ocean views. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and private bath while the 3rd bedroom with a queen-sized bed and the 4th bedroom with 2 twins share a bath. The 5th bedroom, with its own door to the 2nd floor porch, has 1 queen-sized bed and 1 twin, plus a private bath and great views of the Atlantic stretching for miles.
In addition to this home's many assets, free internet access and free tennis at the Van Der Meer Shipyard Racquet Club are also included. To take on a serious golf challenge, there are 27 holes available at Shipyard Plantation and 3, 18-hole courses in Sea Pines Plantation and more in Palmetto Dunes. For a day on the water, take a sail on a boat out of Palmetto Bay or Harbour Town marina, or rent a kayak and explore the marsh edging Calibogue Sound. Bikes can be rented from any of several places and are great for riding along the beach or exploring the many designated bike paths on the island. For dining, shopping, taking in a movie, or entertainment, head to Coligny Plaza, which has more than 60 shops and a wide variety of restaurants.
