Chic and spacious, this splendid Sea Pines Plantation home just a hop, skip and jump down the private path from the beach, provides the ultimate setting for a marvelous family and/or friends island vacation. With 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms, a living room, family room with large wall-mounted flat screen TV, and three dens, one with a wet bar, sleep sofa, and large wall-mounted flat screen TV, there's a place for everyone to relax in between bike rides, beach walks, or a round of golf. The lovely landscaped front walk leads the way to a covered porch complete with rocking chairs for a leisurely afternoon siesta.

Once inside, the comfortably furnished living room is bathed in sunlight from two story high ceilings and banks of windows. A large dining area provides plenty of room for a pleasant dinner, while the kitchen, open and airy with all the modern updates including granite counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, and an island with breakfast bar seating 3, also has a sunny breakfast area with room for six. The family room is the ideal hangout for adults and kids, with an amply stuffed sectional sofa facing the large, flat screen TV and bookcases holding board games for those occasional sedentary moments.

The second floor is divided into two areas with separate access. One section has the master bedroom with king-sized bed, wall-mounted flat screen TV, walk-in closet and en suite bath with separate shower and jetted tub, and a second bedroom has a twin trundle, writing desk, and private bath. The other section of the second floor has three bedrooms, all with private baths: one bedroom has a king-sized bed, one has 2 queen-sized beds, and one has 2 twins.

In addition to the three car garage and free internet access, additional amenities include a private pool* with spa and a spacious deck. For the days' activities, there's an abundance of choices, all within a walk, bike ride, or perhaps a short drive. Besides the broad band of beach, nearby South Beach Marina offers tennis, bike rentals, restaurants, shops, and boating options, such as a dolphin watch, a little parasailing, or charter fishing. More shops and restaurants are available at nearby Sea Pines Center and Harbour Town. To view the natural beauty and wildlife prevalent on Hilton Head Island, take a trail ride from Lawton Stables or take a walk through Sea Pines Preserve. For golf, there are three spectacular courses, the Ocean and Heron nearby, and Harbour Town Golf Links, where the PGA holds the RBC Heritage every spring, where the 18th fairway edged Calibogue Sound and faces the marina and light house.
