Vacation Property Overview
Overlooking the pools, sand dunes, beach and vast ocean, this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa can accommodate 7. Located in the gated Palmetto Dunes community, the villa has an open living area, with fully-equipped kitchen opening to the dining and living areas with comfortable furnishings in seaside colors, a sleep sofa, and flat screen TV. Master suites are on either side of the living area. One master suite has a king-sized bed, TV, a single sleep sofa, in-room bathtub, and separate shower, plus a private balcony with chairs and a side table. The second master suite is on the other side of the living area through french doors, and also has a king-sized bed, TV, in-room bath, and separate shower plus private balcony with chairs and side table, also including a small microwave and mini-fridge.
In addition to free internet access, guests can enjoy the oceanfront outdoor swimming pool and children's pool on-site as well as an indoor pool and health club. There is free tennis at Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center, and for golfers, tee times can be made at one of three challenging golf courses which wind their way through Palmetto Dunes, often bordered by the 11 miles of lagoon which also meanders through the plantation beneath live oaks and long-leaf pines. Kayaks for exploring the lagoon system can be rented, or if dry land is preferred, rent bikes and cycle leisurely along the miles of paths which criss-cross the island. For a little shopping, a dinner cruise, or waterfront dining, guests can take the free shuttle (from March - October) to Shelter Cove. On Tuesday nights in the summer, dine along the waterfront, then catch the splendid fireworks display.
