Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina Rentals in Hilton Head Island
Located just off the Intracoastal Waterway, overlooking the marsh-lined expanses of Broad Creek, Shelter Cove Harbour was designed to resemble the sunny portside villages of the Mediterranean. At its heart is Hilton Head Island's largest deepwater yacht basin: a 15.5 acre marina with 170 slips for boats up to 120 feet in length. At the center of the marina area, benignly surveying the harbor, is a larger-than-life statue of King Neptune; this sculpture forms one of the world's biggest working sundials. Benches are conveniently located along the promenades for relaxing or people-watching, one of the island's favorite pastimes.
Yachts and sailboats bobbing lazily at anchor provide a picturesque backdrop for daytime or evening activities. Take a stroll through the shops, galleries and restaurants surrounding Shelter Cove Harbour. There is sure to be something here for everyone! You can enjoy fine or casual dining indoors or out. You can even book a fishing expedition, kayak tour, or dolphin watch leaving from the area docks. During spring and summer seasons, there is nightly entertainment with colorful bazaars and family singalongs with live music; definitely plan to stay till dusk on a Tuesday evening for special weekly festivities and fireworks displays!
