Discover Hilton Head Island

Like a gem rising out of the Atlantic Ocean, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina sparkles with all that is good in a resort paradise with it's relaxed, yet upscale surroundings. Hilton Head Island boasts some of the finest tennis facilities available in the U.S. There are over 360 Tennis Courts in the area and four clubs which have been named by Tennis Magazine as part of the top 50 in the United States. World renown tennis great Stan Smith calls Hilton Head Island home now, and has a court named after him as well here also. Hilton Head is also the home of the well respected Van Der Meer Tennis Academy, where anyone can learn to play the game. For some "power shopping" the Tanger Outlet Centers are located just across the bridge on the mainland. When you get hungry, there are more than 200 hundred eateries from casual to fine dining for your epicurean pleasure. Whether you fancy seafood, ethnic fare or just a good old fashioned hamburger, you will find just what you are looking for on Hilton Head Island. One suggestion: if "Low Country Boil is offered on the menu, try it. You won't be disappointed.
